Wife got 6 delicious cupcakes on her way back from a work trip to Lancaster. This place came highly recommended by the locals. Got 2 strawberry, 2 cookies and cream, one lemon and one salted caramel. Forgot to take a picture with all 6. Oops. So good though. Check them out if you're in the area.
This location has been around for a while. Great to see it still thriving in the community as a local staple. Located across the street from the mall. Customized cakes, cupcakes and desserts. A bit on the higher price range. We ordered a cake in advance for a birthday and asked for a Hawaiian theme but it was a bit sponge Bob ish. Nonetheless it was decorated well. They do use a lot of frosting so keep that in mind, it's gonna be super sweet. If you have something in mind bring a picture for reference. Flavors are customizable. Great customer service.
In and out with an amazing cupcake. I had a lemon cupcake that was great. Perfect texture, amount of curd and frosting. The frosting was delicious, not too sweet and held together perfectly as I ate it. The lemon head on top was a nice touch. Place wasn't busy when I went, so I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed a recommendation or time to browse. I liked the handle that was placed on my cupcake box.
In the photo is a cake I preordered in January for Valentine's Day. It is a gluten free and dairy free cake with pink vanilla frosting, chocolate cake layers, and fresh fruit and white frosting filling. What I rate highly on? The vintage style frosted decor and piping; the design. The edible glitter spray to finish it off and I liked the hand piped "Happy Valentine's Day". I think it is amazing the cake came out great with the challenges of gluten and dairy free. The flavor? The chocolate cake layers are great. Decadent would've been too much and thankfully it isn't. The filling is white frosting with a layer of fresh strawberries--I personally love it. The pink frosting is a bit too sweet for my taste, I know the mixture was to keep the cake's decor to last, but that was the only thing I could say is not my overall favorite. Have I tried other things in the store? Yes, I have. I have tried the gf & df cupcakes before picking up six cupcakes for my birthday lunch. And I have tried the brown butter chocolate chip cookie as well as the chocolate covered strawberries on the same day I picked up my cake. Brown butter chocolate chip cookie was divine. I shared the ones I bought, same opinions. The chocolate covered strawberries were excellent as well. The flavor of the chocolate was just right. Overall opinion? I will buy from here again. I like the idea there is variety in the gluten and dairy free department and they're willing to take on challenging orders like these (and I know it's challenging as without gluten the cake needs a substitute for binding and the cake-like crumb). I like to see the potential on what creativity can come of these ideas in mind like the ones in the gluten free shelf and the ones in the regular display case.
There were a few people in line, but it moved quickly. I ordered a 4 pack- the flavors were cookies & cream, bananas Foster, peanut butter cup, & chocolate chip cookie dough. The cookies & cream is a chocolate cake with cookies & cream frosting- tastes just like Oreos. The bananas foster is a delicious banana caramel cake- I really liked this flavor. The chocolate chip cookie dough has a cookie dough filling in the middle- I wish it was the mixed in the frosting to give more of that flavor. The peanut butter cup is like a Reese's in cupcake form- if you like peanut butter and chocolate this one is for you.
Really disappointed with this cake I pre ordered for my pup we scheduled a photo shoot for him the cake looks like it's falling apart! I don't appreciate the customer service comment that it was just for a dog and he wouldn't care, we paid for it. It's very unfortunate we love this place but won't be back.
Their customer service is amazing! Charlie was helpful in making sure I got exactly what I wanted designed for husband's birthday cake. And when I got the cake, they did an amazing job. She also gave me an idea of giving him a cupcake for his actual birthday since we were celebrating his birthday on a different day. It was delicious and exactly what I asked for. When I found out that Abby Jimenez is a baker AND has a cupcake shop in palmdale, I knew I had to go! The girl at the counter was so friendly and helpful. Huge cupcake selection, good prices, and some of her books in paperback with signatures! I wish the signatures were on the books instead of a sticker but still so cool! The interior was pink and romantic and so cute. They were even willing to extra wrap up the cupcakes I bought so they could survive the trip home. The cheesecake cupcake was amazing, with a tart fruity topping. and the peanut butter cup had so much robust butter flavor and reese's on top, with a moist cupcake flavor! I'm so glad I got to come visit and will definitely recommend to others in the area.

The shells were perfectly crisp, and the filling was smooth, creamy, and just the right level of sweetness. You can tell everything is made fresh and with a lot of love. The location is convenient and the ambiance is great. The shop itself is adorable, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Even though I just popped in for a quick treat, the whole experience made me want to come back and try more of their desserts--especially the cakes. If you're a Cannoli fan (or even if you're not yet), do yourself a favor and try them here. You won't regret it. They are sweet, but not too sweet!

Nadia Cakes is easily one of my favorite places for cupcakes, and honestly I consider them one of the best. It's not surprising they were winners of Cupcake Wars because their cupcakes actually live up to the hype. They have a great variety of flavors, but my personal favorites are cookies and cream, cookie dough, and their cannolis. I've tried cupcakes from plenty of other places, but they're often too dry, too sweet, or too plain for my liking. Nadia Cakes somehow gets the balance right every time. I also appreciate that they offer gluten-free, dairy-free, and keto cupcake options, plus dog treats, which is such a cute bonus. They're also excellent with custom orders. For my husband's 30th birthday, I ordered a custom Nacho Libre cake from them and it turned out beautifully. Even better, it tasted just as good as it looked. It was definitely pricey, but considering the quality, flavor, and detail of the work, I thought it was absolutely worth it. My only tiny wish is that they served hot drinks so people could enjoy coffee or tea with their treats. Thankfully, there's a Coffee Bean right next door, so that problem basically solves itself. Overall, Nadia Cakes is a solid 5/5 for me; delicious cupcakes, beautiful custom cakes, and consistent quality. read more
Happened to come across this bakery by chance, when looking for a cake spot that wasnt generic. It was last minute so we didnt get to put in an order anywhere. Walking in, you're warmly greeted by the associates and by the smell of pastries. There are plenty of cupcakes to choose from and there are several cake selections that are available too! Ended up getting a mini-cupcake and a cake, the former was an opportunity to taste one of their product. It was delicious! We had the cake later that evening, and while it was small in size, it made a big impression! Everyone who had it, including myself, enjoyed the moist and perfectly sweet strawberry and cream cake. And we got a kick of the cute decor that was inspired by a popular meme. I will definitely be visiting this amazing spot in the future! read more

There were a few people in line, but it moved quickly. I ordered a 4 pack- the flavors were cookies & cream, bananas Foster, peanut butter cup, & chocolate chip cookie dough. The cookies & cream is a chocolate cake with cookies & cream frosting- tastes just like Oreos. The bananas foster is a delicious banana caramel cake- I really liked this flavor. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Got Easter cupcakes for the granddaughters- they loved them!!! Always so good!! Then had to go back and get the cannoli to go with the ice coffee from the coffee bean next door!! Always fun to look at the fun cakes in the window. read more

I love Nadia Cakes for the sweet treats and the signed books! I'm so happy I was able to take home some vegan cupcakes for my friends birthday and the Christmas cupcakes were so adorable, I bought one of each. The server was kind and helpful. A dozen cupcakes for every birthday. Every time! Been coming here for years! They even have keto cupcakes for my dieters and doggie cupcakes for my fur friends. I came in here once to get cupcakes for my sons birthday AND unfortunately my dogs last cupcake on earth. I explained to the cashier that I was a wreck because it was both my son's birthday and my dog was dying and she GAVE me the doggie cupcake. I was on my way to Coffee Bean when I stumbled upon this place. I'm a huge fan of Cupcake Wars and I saw a banner that stated they are a Cupcake War winner. So, I had to stop by to check it out for myself. I tried their cheesecake with raspberry compote which won them their title. I have to say it was quite tasty. I also tried the vanilla cupcake and the chocolate vanilla cupcakes. I loved the moistness and texture of the vanilla cupcake, but the icing was a tad too much. As for the chocolate vanilla, the cake part was a little more dry, but had a nice rich chocolate taste, but the vanilla icing got lost. As far as decor, I love how they had their shop set up in themes showing off their cake artistry. They definitely have some talented people working here. read more

Made a few hour long drive to try these cupcakes and it was well worth it! I tried the cupcake wars cupcake and the banana split so far and they are delicious!! Service was very friendly and went through each item since I had never been there before. It's a small spot but very cute inside. I also had to grab a few copies of Abby's books! Hard to believe the last time I was here was 2011. We used to come often because the cupcakes were always amazing. My son had never tried them so I decided to grab some for a special treat. Happy to see that Covid precautions are in place. You can't enter store, there is a table set up out in front of business with the menu of what is available that day. The employee slides open a window and takes your order. They have gloves and masks on. So refreshing to see a business doing the right thing to protect their customers. They are operating on special hours so make sure to check out website. Looks like a lot has changed since I was MIA, new locations in MN, shipping available and I also saw pies. ** Cupcake flavors we picked: Gingerbread, cookie dough, salted caramel, egg nog, and for me sugar free vanilla and chocolate. I didn't know until we left that they offer a keto cupcake. I should have asked more questions. The flavors I picked for my men were enjoyed very much. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the sugar free. It tasted like cornbread with frosting. Each day they have special flavors, check out the delicious pictures online. I remember back in the day when they won cupcake wars on the Food Network. Looks like since then many awards have gone to Nadia Cakes. read more
