This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. They look so beautiful but the taste is a let down.

My order is often not ready when I arrive, at the designated time. This happened again today. I had to ask a team member about my order, who then checked for it in their system, then told me it will be out in a couple minutes. This gets frustrating during busy times. Our visits are typically in the late afternoons/early evenings. Pastry selections get quite scarce a couple hours before closing. The seating outside is dirty and sticky. The trash can is always overflowing.

I get that in-person orders need to be taken, but my order was already in the system well before theirs. When I finally managed to talk to an employee, she just shoved me off to wait in another line to talk to her coworker. Once I reached the coworker, she acknowledged my order and promised they'd "push it out in just a second." Instead, a group that ordered six drinks after I had already been waiting ended up getting served ahead of me. They pushed out around 10 drinks for other people while I stood there waiting well over 20 minutes for a single macchiato. To make matters worse, once my drink was finally made, it just sat on the counter for two minutes before anyone even bothered to hand it to me. Great bakery, but their mobile ordering prioritization and drink counter service are completely broken. Stick to the pastries. this isn't the first time I've been disappointed by their drinks, but it will be the last.

That employee Jeff needs a class on customer service Mistakes happen, especially when a business is busy. However, the customer should not be made to feel responsible for correcting the restaurant's mistake, particularly over such a small amount. A simple "I'm sorry, we made a mistake--we'll take care of it" would have made a big difference. (Shout out to Starbucks !) The food is good, which is why I continue to come back. My concern is that if regular customers are made to feel unwelcome or argued with over an order error, the business could lose loyal customers. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and focus on improving the customer-service. I still like the food.

Talked to the owner for awhile after purchasing my usual tamales & pupusas (which are unmatched). He eluded to the fact that numerous other Mexican restaurants in his immediate area are troublesome to his establishment but I personally feel he has no competition based on his tenure there, the unmatchable cuisine, and the huge selection on their menu to choose from. The only concern is how long the pandemic will last which is, at present time, the main concern for all establishments. This business Maribel's has been here for more than 20 years, the Maribel's on Lancaster Blvd was our second store ,a little different than the original and it was owed by the original owners son . He was forced out by the landlord because he wanted to rent the space to somebody else. We have never been closed. The original owners are still there as mangers. The new owner-has introduced a variety of foods from Mexico City and it's surrounding neighbors but we still sell pupusas and tamales , come and enjoy Good food . read more

I recently bought the cake and dessert table for my daughter's 16th birthday, everything was delicious. Their tres leches cake, with guallava and strawberry, the velvety red one and the carrot one are a delight. And yesterday I tried a new one that they have with tres leches and red fruits, it is delicious.
