I've gone to the bakery for many years and I feel the cakes aren't the same. Ordered a cake for my moms 60'th bday and it came out OK. Once cutting the cake it was very dry.

Great place to get pupusas and their coffee cake is really good! They have good pozole only available Friday and Saturday

Best pupusa and Horchata in Lancaster. With the photos on the wall of every delicious meal they make it's guaranteed you will come here for the pupusa's and try something else. I highly recommend the huevos à la gringa!!

It's a small place in town and you need to go visit and try Mexican and Central American food, now there is a new manager so the service is better, one of my favorite plates are Chilaquiles Rojas and pupusa and if you want a sweet treat them offer a lot of options, I recommend trying their strawberry mousse cake.

Definitely worth the drive. I'm a foodie person and willing to drive for great food. Came across Maribels on the way to work and saw great reviews and it was a must try because pupusa are my favorite. I ordered the pupusa and it was delicious, came with cabbage and salsa. I also ordered chicken flautas but no flavor to the chicken very bland, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese. I would not order them again. The salsa wasn't spicy but flavorful. Over all they have fast and great customer service. If your in the area check them out. They won't disappoint.

Good luck avoiding slide to the floor - I nearly lost it several times when he was turning a corner!

Conveniently located in a large plaza with Target, it's a great place to enjoy a fresh treat before or after shopping. We find their breads and pastries delicious. We have not yet tried one that we didn't like. The cakes are ok -- they're not overly sweet but I personally find them dry. However, one will certainly do if you're in a pinch for a quick birthday cake that can be personalized. Drinks are always great. We especially enjoy the seasonal offerings. Today's drinks were the Mango Green Tea and Strawberry Banana Smoothie. We also picked up a Mochi Egg Tart 2-pack to share. I have to remove a star for repeating issues with mobile orders. My order is often not ready when I arrive, at the designated time. This happened again today. I had to ask a team member about my order, who then checked for it in their system, then told me it will be out in a couple minutes. This gets frustrating during busy times. Our visits are typically in the late afternoons/early evenings. Pastry selections get quite scarce a couple hours before closing. The seating outside is dirty and sticky. I wished there was a little more veggies such as tomatoes and mushroom and less of the greens. Maybe next time I need to let them know. Hector was our server. Such a nice and polite gentlemen. There was couple of hiccups that didn't bother us but it was nice if it was handled differently. They forgot to bring the bread for our food. Since it was my first time I didn't think it would come with bread. Hector forgot to bring and their other staff member realized it. They came and apologized and brought us our bread but our food was done by then and we actually went to purchase croissant for carb addition. Anyways what we didn't appreciate about our experience and was so uncomfortable was the chief. She came to our table and her intention was only to get the server in trouble and catch an error for him. She said who was your server and when I told her she said ok I thought so and left. She then left and you can tell she got mad at him and said something cause then he came and apologized to us for forgetting the bread. I kept telling my husband this is so u comfortable we didn't even say anything or show reactions. we told hector don't even worry about it but please know we didn't say anything to get you in trouble. Anyway I felt very bad for him . I appreciate that restaurant worker and chief came to apologize and try to fix error but I think chords intentions wasn't to apologize but rather try to discipline hector and yell at him. In general I think it's best that management team keep their work professional in front of customers and if there's any disciplinary actions that needs to be done it should be in private , I. Office and not front of the customer. I just wanted to express that hector was very professional and even with all that happened he kept himself calm and his apology was sincere. I'm not sure if the chief even apologized I don't remember or that it was even genuine. I have high star still bc the good , atmosphere and coffee was good and they shouldn't lose points for that

And when I say everything I've tried has been a hit... I mean it. I recommend this place to everyone I know because it's just that good. They have tons of options--healthy choices like sandwiches and salads--but what really takes the cake are the pastries They have so many to choose from, plus cakes for any special occasion, and trust me... they do NOT disappoint. I usually stop by alone since I work nearby, but this past weekend I brought my family because if I love it, they had to try it too--and they were just as impressed. The quality of the food, the service, everything was on point. My sister got a breakfast sandwich (my first time trying it) and it was so good. My mom got the farmers omelette sandwich, which I already love--it never misses, always packed with flavor, 10/10 every time. I was a little stuck on what to get since I've tried almost everything, so I asked for a recommendation and went with the tuna sandwich... and WOW. It did not disappoint. The tuna was so fresh and paired perfectly with their house salad, which I'm a huge fan of. And don't even get me started on the cookies they have so many options if you're craving something sweet. The place itself is small but super homey and cozy, which makes it even better. Overall, always a great experience--I would recommend this spot to anyone!

The Line Told Me Everything I Needed to Know…read more Stumbled upon this spot after nearby Japanese BBQ, and what immediately caught my attention was the line -- probably around 20 people deep. Naturally, I asked a random customer what all the hype was about, and they told me this place was famous for their croissant pastries. Well... next thing you know, I'm standing in line too after a very full lunch. I ended up trying the Chocolate Almond Croissant for $6.50, and let me tell you something -- I am a HUGE croissant girlie. While I'm not normally the biggest chocolate person, Spain and Portugal recently changed my perspective on dark chocolate, and apparently now I'm in my dark chocolate era. And honestly? This croissant was BETTER than the super popular pastry we had in Barcelona, Spain. The chocolate wasn't overpowering at all -- it had the perfect amount of dark sweetness without being too rich. But the real surprise was the almond filling layered at the bottom. Oh my gosh... chef's kiss. Nutty, creamy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced.
