Same great food and service. We used to go to Lemon Leaf all the time when we lived in the AV area. So we were excited to stop by when a friend and I were up in the area. We both ordered the spicy pink sauce bow tie pasta with chicken and Caesar salad. The pasta was a little bit more spicy than I remembered it but still very delicious. The salad initially looked overdressed but when I tasted it, it was perfectly seasoned. The owner was super friendly and gave us great service. The restaurant is located inside the country club looking over the golf coarse so we had a great view. They did mention they will be looking for another location and moving in the near future. But I loved their food so much, I'll be sure to track them down again the next time I'm in the area. Hope they continue to have the same great menu. I do miss their lemon bars! read more

Extremely limited menu. The server was nice, but there wasn't much to choose from. We weren't charmed by the offerings, so we shared a sandwich that was billed as "pressed," which made us think it would be pannini style. No, just heated on a decent bread roll. Pasta salad side with the sandwich seems so dated. No substitutions allowed on anything. Why even keep the Lemon Leaf name? It was such a fun place with a varied menu when it was on Lancaster Blvd. read more

I think this is one of Palmdale's best kept secrets. Every time I've gone there's hardly anyone there. I love the view of the empty golf coarse through the large windows in the dining area. Very relaxing after a crazy day at school! Smaller menu but a good variety to choose from. Service is always excellent and prices are fair. I just wish they were open later. read more

Adorable place for lunch. The menu is extensive for all of your lunch cravings. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. You can sit down first with your menu to see what you want. Go up to the counter and order and pay then they will give you a number to have your food delivered Crowd is nice and ambience is relaxing with the harvest decors all around. Key to the restroom is by the counter. Big enough to not miss. Plenty of seats to fit small and large parties. If I live in the area, I would definitely come here to check out some of their other dishes. read more

We came here for lunch (on a Thursday) and would definitely come back again! Megan was a fantastic server and very attentive. Our drinks didn't get below half full and her recommendations were on point! Thanks, Megan! There were three tables (at most) dining inside at any given time while we were there. Maybe we were very hungry, but we all enjoyed the pizza. I ordered the "don" and it was so tasty with a surprising spice to it. Loved it. My newly picky-eater son even ate a whole slice - with bites of olives and artichokes & all! Yum! He wasn't interested in the buttered bow tie pasta we ordered for him and loved the hummus (with pita bread) instead. My hubby ordered the Spicy Pink Pasta and devoured it. I barely got a taste of a piece of chicken and bow tie pasta with the sauce. Good spiciness without needing a glass of milk! What did evoke a thirst for milk was the brownie sundae dessert. Wow. It was big enough for the three of us to share! Now, the signature lemon tart dessert could have been the star of the show. However, they were sold out by the time I had placed my order. Meh. Next time, I will order dessert first! For that reason, we must go back!! Ugh. Giving a full extra star because the wait was not long, the service was excellent, and the food tasty and filling. White tablecloths and napkins were clean and without stains. We visited Lemon Leaf in search of a really good restaurant in the area. With simply adequate staff and food, this definitely is not the restaurant we were looking for. While the staff was friendly, the service was really nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, this describes the food as well. The food was very mediocre. The place is relevantly new and you can kind of tell when you get there. The host was very nice but I think the waitress and cook staff was a little slow and needs some training still. Most of us got upset stomachs by the time we went home. I think there is room for improvement. read more

I like the new location at the Country Club. Great view of the the golf course. Creatures of habit, we shared the Greek Salad--love her vinaigrette and always order more on the side!!!--and they have started adding garlic hummus which we liked. Pair that up with the Mediterranean Platter and we're happy. By the way, her Garlic Hummus is amazing! Next we ordered the Chicken and Mushroom pasta in Alfredo sauce. Wow, that was amazing!!! We both loved it and wondered why in the world it had taken us so long to try it. Definitely heading back for more of that soon. We finished with Carrot Cake and Orange Coffee Cake. Lemon leaf is a cute one room restaurant/pastry shop with something of an Italian flair (they sell torchio pasta!). I pass by it often on the quaint Lancaster Blvd and finally made lunch plans to eat at Lemon Leaf on a Saturday at 10am. You seat yourselves, menus are presented to your table, and you order and pay at the register. Dress is casual, prices are on the moderate side. Our first shared dish was an egg souffle which was savory, definitely made better with tabasco, and my tablemates enjoyed it very much. The Caesar salad had a hint of lemon and was not too doused in dressing, like the Souplanation Cesar salad (my favorite!) but not quite. The Spicy pink campanelle pasta with grilled chicken, bell pepper, onion in a spicy smoked gouda cheese sauce was the best dish on the table. The sauce was rich, each bite had a spicy kick, and the combination was stellar. The Berserko pizza with spicy Italian sausage, bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms and feta cheese was not spicy at all. It looked delicious and we had another patron come by and ask about it - my tablemates liked it enough to recommend it. Lastly we got the NY steak with potato salad. The steak was a bit dry, but my taste in steaks is to marinate them in ridiculous amounts of butter. The potato salad was probably loads healthier than what I am used to. My tablemates also ordered a cheesecake with the works, which they raved about. The cheesecake is tasty and a must-order, not too sweet and not too tart. Lemonades have free refills and complimentary bread is provided, but my water infused with lemon was just delicious and I preferred my water to the lemonade and cranberry lemonade. The servers are efficient and pleasant. Parking is on the streets, and I would like to be back to try some more offerings the next time I'm in Lancaster! read more

I've been coming here since highschool and I love going here for w nice treat with my mom. The lemon tart is seriously my favorite thing ever if you like lemon desserts you need to try it. I forgot what flatbread/pizza we tried but I do recall it being amazing. The pastas are also very tasty. Its pricey for Lancaster but you pay for what you get. This is going to our new breakfast restaurant and that means a lot. My husband and I don't do lunches or dinners out, once a week breakfast out is our treat. We liked the food, the service and waitress, the friendly atmosphere and the price. It's family owned, Dad is the cook and Mom is in the kitchen and their daughter waited on us. This establishment was definitely unexpected....In a bad way. For it being on a golf course and for appetizers being 15-20$ the inside should look better. When I walked in it looked like a hall that had tables randomly placed on the sides with white sheets covering the walls. It did not look like a restaurant or a caffe at all! After trying to decide what to get due to the high prices my friend and I decided to get the bruschetta for 18$! The bruschetta came with 5 pieces of toast and a bowl of tomato mixture. While it was good, it was way overpriced. 4/10 would not recommend. read more

The new location at the country club leaves much to be desired. The old Lancaster Blvd location was so cute inside and had great atmosphere. The new location is the opposite - no atmosphere, no charm, no warmth. The entryway features an empty bakery display case and a mess of cutlery prep behind it. The dining room is set up for banquets with a podium, large television, and wall of faux greenery and white curtains to hide the sliding wall panels. It looks like late 80s/early90s style carpeting and chairs. The walls are stained. The carpet is dirty and coming up in some places. The room is stale with zero air flow and smells slightly musty. There is no music playing. You can hear everyone's conversation. It is so quiet, awkward, and uninviting. You feel you should whisper being in there. Yes, there is outdoor seating which seems like it would be more pleasant; however, we were not allowed to sit out there because we are not members of the country club. Our server told us they only allow club members to sit outside at this time. Seriously? At the time we ate, there were only two occupied tables outside and two inside including our party. It was an hour before closing and dead. The entrance to the kitchen is across from the entrance to the dining area, so all the clattering of dishes and employee chatter carries into the dead space of the dining room. The food is the same as it always was; some delicious dishes, some mediocre. I'm not sure if they are paring down their offerings, but they said they did not have soup today (even though daily soup is on the current menu). No big deal, but still... The server seemed disinterested and bored. Came by just one time to check on us, so we got no drink refills. After asking us if we needed boxes when taking our payment, the server returned with our receipt, said "Have a nice day," and walked off. She didn't return with the boxes she asked if we needed. There were no employees at the front. We had to pop our head into the kitchen to ask for them. Overall, this was a huge disappointment. Even good food isn't enough to bring us back here. read more

Very quiet when we walked in, host thought we were part of a private party so didn't seat us until we inquired. We were able to sit outside which was really nice. The decor is dated and minimal inside, outside is basic patio tables, but the view is pretty (overlooks the golf course). Ordered the Caprese press which was tasty and priced decently. The pasta salad that came with it was also really good. 4 stars for food! I'm giving 3 stars overall because of the service, however. Two men started smoking cigars on the patio right after we were sat. First off, it's illegal (as the sign posted above the door stated). Second, we had a child with us and the smell was so bad we all got headaches. We went inside and asked the manager if they could do something. She assured us she would. 15 minutes go by and the men are still puffing away, no manager in sight (I had a clear view and since there were so few people I know they didn't come out). We then asked the waiter, and he said his hands were tied. He wasn't allowed to say anything. The men finally finished up and left after we were mostly done with our food. Definitely put a damper on our lunch. Hoping the staff grows a backbone in the future. read more

Huge Fan to this place when they were at the BLVD and the vibe was awsome......BUT they moved to thos country club which Honestly feels like a freaken cafeteria and I wanted to sit outside because the inside is DEAD LOOKING and i was told i couldnt do that because the outside is reserved for the gold members so Guess what my regular non Golfers....we sit on the inside where there is no display of the Soufflés or biscuits or pastries for their coffee and tea set up machines it all walls!! Horrible how they Down Graded! And they Removed there Drop Biscuits the sisters lost there touch!! Should have stayed in the blvd or find a spot that would be wayyyyyyy better than that old shack! read more

Excellent food and I love the fact that you can actually have a conversation and be heard! It's also nice to have a view of the golf course. We usually sit inside but you can sit outside. I usually get the Caesar Salad and Pizza which is great but lately I've been getting the Greek Salad. The dressing and everything about it is so delicious. It comes with hummus and that is excellent. For desert, hubby and I have had the chocolate cake quite a few times which is fantastic and taste like a good old fashioned homemade cake, soo good. read more

I was incredibly disappointed in the decline of the whole dining experience since they moved. I have visited their new location 3 times since they relocated. The first time I did a takeout order, the second time I dined in, and the last time I went with my sisters to dine in. We were seated outside on a windy cold day because we are not country club members. Then, we were served cold bread that was not their normal fresh bread we were use to. It seemed like the generic Ciabatta bread from Costco. The food was made with far less care and pride. Part of the dining experience is the ambiance and there wasn't any, it was cold and uninviting unlike their previous space on Lancaster Blvd. Our seating felt like cheap patio furniture. This use to be one of my favorite places and now I doubt I'll go again. read more

As a kid in high school I remember trying this place and never ever forgetting the bbq chicken pizza I have never in my life had one close to this one I don't I even know what bbq chicken pizza was until I tried this! Anyways the flavor of the chicken the sauce the fresh oregano basil all mixed in can't forget the delicious onions now an absolute perfect blend for a case of party in my mouth. Truth be told there are not a lot of great places to eat in Lancaster. The area has grown, but the dinning has not grown with it. Lemon Leaf is an exception and a must stop if you are in Lancaster. The service is great, the place is cute. They have seating, but you will order at the cashier. They will bring your food to you. They have great Italian food, from sandwiches to pasta. It is located in the older section of Lancaster which has been all remodeled. They have an excellent rustic pizza. The prices are quite reasonable and you will like it very much. This is the place to eat whenever you are in Lancaster. Have fun. read more
