Have not been here since they were on Lancaster BLVD. It was such a cute little place to eat with good food and pleasant environment. Upon entering the time dated new location, we were told that we could not sit on the patio, as that was for members only. Ok, well apparently there were no members because the patio was completely empty. The waiters and servers seemed to be new and awkward. After twenty minutes they came to tell us that they were out of the salad that we had ordered. We ordered the NY pizza and Greek salad. Both of which were less than stellar. Great food. Never dissatisfied. Love the Black Spaghetti with Salmon and their turkey cobb salad. Ordered penne ariribiata and italian sausage peperonata. Both had suasage in the website but when i got my order it the oenne didn't have any and i paid for the sausage. Anyways the manager was very nice and fixed it for me. WAY too expensive for the amount and quality of food. It's not even a full service restaurant. You order at a counter like a deli but are paying $50 for two meals and two drinks. My husband got the Chicken Caesar Wrap... basically salad with like 4 small strips of chicken in a tortilla with a pitiful portion of pasta salad on the side. I got the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and honestly have made better myself at home. The chicken in both dishes was tough and seemed like it was cooked a week ago and microwaved. I saw the amazing reviews and decided to order via Yelp / Grubhub delivery. When it got delivered we realized a Caesar wrap was missing from our order so I called the cafe and they told me that they aren't able to tell me if they didn't make the wrap, or the delivery driver just didn't include the wrap with our other order. Then they said if I ever order a wrap online I need to call the cafe and tell them my name and that I specifically ordered a wrap. I don't understand why I have to do this in the first place and/or why don't they have a better system? They told me my only option is to refund the wrap by calling Grubhub. I don't normally leave bad reviews but the way they handled this situation was very unprofessional. They at least were honest by telling me they don't even know if they made the wrap but from experience they probably shouldn't have disclosed that information and then tell me for future wrap orders to call and leave my name. I will not be ordering ever again from this place but for future references in case anyone decides they want to order a wrap - According to the cafe you need to call and let them know because you might not get it delivered. Amazing! Was in Friday night and found that it wasn't busy. Maybe because it was getting late. Took a few minutes to decide and went with the pasta with sausage and bell peppers. It was amazing! We had a bruschetta as an appetizer and it was a great size and flavorful. For dessert we had a cheesecake with strawberries. The Café provided breakfast and lunch catering for our meeting of approximately 60 people in Mojave a few weeks ago. When we realized that we would have more participants at our event than we anticipated, we made an emergency call to the cafe. They quickly responded by preparing and delivering more food - at a moments notice, and with enormous grace. Mr Scout provided excellent service and went above and beyond to make recommendations on their most popular items. I decided on the cranberry turkey Cobb salad which came with bacon and feta drizzled with a sweet and tangy vinaigrette. It was very filling and had super fresh ingredients. My wife and I had dinner here tonight, this was our second visit. We loved everything about this place: the upscale casual atmosphere, the attentive waitstaff, and of course the food. We started with a Mediterranean sampler of hummus, olives, cheese, stuffed grape leaves, olives, tzaziki and red peppers. Served with small wedges of pita, this was the perfect appetizer. The hummus was garlicky and splashed with olive oil. My wife had the pasta dish with peppers and sausage. She did not let me sample, but assured me that it was tasty. I had the quattro formaggi (four cheese) pizza. The crust was just right - not too thick, not too thin, and the cheeses worked well together. The iced tea was served almost instantly as we sat down, and was refreshing. We chose some desserts to take out - my wife had a brownie, and I had the orange cake. Wow. I wasn't able to get a either as we came in too late in the day and settled for a ceasar salad and tomato basil soup. Bf had a cranberry turkey cobb salad. Our meals were very fresh tasting and with a lot of flavor too. We also got a bruschetta appetizer with gorgonzola cheese. The bruschetta was very tasty as well and one of the better bruschettas I've tasted. I enjoyed my soup and salad very much. Ingredients are fresh and bursting out with flavor! We didn't plan to have dessert but did indulge in a orange coffeecake. From the first bite, it was foodgasmic and we both ate it all! Prices may be a bit high yet I'd rather pay more for GOOD tasty fresh food. I don't mind placing the order at the counter. Lemon Leaf Cafe is one of those local eateries where you just want to eat everything! Its a cute restaurant located on Lancaster Blvd. I can honestly say its actually one of the best restaurants on the Blvd. The art decor and gift shop vibe with a variety of there signature items displayed is a nice touch to the restaurant. Every time I'm in town, I wouldn't mind me some Lemon Leaf. Most of my visits the service has always stayed consistent and the servers are very attentive. Typically, when you walk in, you order, then you grab a table. This particular lunch visit, We sat next to the dessert display and I literally was eyeing the display case during my whole lunch haha. This visit we ordered the Humus and Pita bread to start, Turkey BAT, Prosciutto pesto pizza and the Southwest grilled chicken salad. Everything was delicious! Portions are generous and great for sharing. I dont ever recall me ever having a bad experience or bad meal here. You basically can't go wrong with anything you order. Many moons ago, I attended an art show that was catered by Lemon Leaf Cafe. They provided small finger foods (sandwiches, crackers & dip, etc.) and at the time I was absolutely infatuated. I always had the intention of going to their location on the Blvd throughout the years and it wasn't until recently that I finally had the opportunity. Despite the raving reviews they still receive to this day, I found it didn't quite live up to the expectation they set years ago. I stopped by for lunch with my sister at around 11AM. My sister had been many times before but always around dinner time. We seated ourselves at a wobbly table and had to move to one with a little more stability. I would also like to note the strips of paper lining the tops of each table seemed a bit cheesy. We were brought glasses of water and menus and eventually discovered on our own that we were supposed to go to the register and place our order. Which was only slightly confusing as they gave us the impression they provide waiter service.. I ordered the grilled chicken caesar sandwich with a side of pasta salad. I'll start with the pasta salad. It tasted incredible! Unfortunately, I have to agree with Jonathan M., the portion was embarrassingly small. The sandwich was about 95% lettuce. Don't get me wrong, I love vegetables. But given that the price is so high, I would expect them to be more generous with the chicken. I would have purchased dessert on my way out but the meal already exceeded my budget. I was simply not impressed. The prices are just too high. I understand business can be tough on the Blvd. However, I suspect they can do a little better than ugly paper on their tables when they're clearly trying to classify themselves as an upscale establishment. Found this cute place thru yelp when i visited the blvd for the first time to go to the library. Per yelps highlights, I got the greek salad wrap which was pretty tasty. It wasnt overdressed and i liked their concept. The wraps are huge so I was only able to eat half. Also ordered the minestrone soup which I thought was fantastic. There were yummy looking desserts too but I didn't have any room in my stomach after the wrap and the soup. Next time I'm going to try them. Everything seemed pretty fresh and the atmosphere is cute. I thought the lemon tart was ok, but my other half loved it. I got a cannoli, and I thought the cream was dissappointing.
