We first visited Lucky Luke about two weeks ago at the Palmdale location for bingo night, and we…read morehad such a fun time! Since it was our first visit, we walked up to the bar and explained that we're not IPA fans and asked if we could sample a few beers. The staff was super friendly and happy to let us try different options. We ended up really liking the Waterfront Lager and ordered micheladas. Their michelada mix is AMAZING. The Palmdale location is drinks only (no food), but the atmosphere and service made for a really fun night. Fast forward to yesterday. My husband and I had a date night and remembered how much we liked the beer, so we decided to check out the Lancaster location since they also serve food. When we walked in, the place was packed and there were only two girls working the entire floor. Even though they were clearly super busy, they were still very friendly and upfront that there would be about a 15-minute wait for a table. We appreciated the honesty, so we waited patiently and eventually got seated. We found out that the Lancaster location doesn't always have the same beers as the Palmdale brewery location, so unfortunately they didn't have the Waterfront Lager we loved. We were a little bummed, but our waitress gladly brought us samples so we could find something else we liked. We ended up ordering a lighter blonde beer since many of the others were too hoppy for our taste. We also tried their handmade mango and pineapple micheladas and WOW! both were so good. The food was delicious too. We ordered the totchos (loaded tator tots), 6-piece hot wings, and the Asian sliders. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. Even though they were slammed busy, the waitresses continued checking on us regularly throughout the night. Overall, it ended up being a really great date night. The ambiance is casual, fun, and welcoming, and both locations gave us excellent service. Lucky Luke is definitely going to become one of our regular date night spots moving forward!

I ordered a cherry malt which is not something you can find everywhere and boy did they deliver. Lots of flavor. It just pops. I got the Philly with nacho cheese sauce instead of Swiss. It was awesome. My friend got the hot roast beef and he said it was also very good. I look forward to seeing what else they have. But, that cherry malt was the bomb. Worth the drive. 100%

Okay, let me set the scene: I've lived in the Antelope Valley most of my life, and somehow never…read morestopped at this legendary little spot. Ted's has been flippin' burgers since 1955 when you could snag one for just nineteen cents (can we bring that back?). It's changed names more than a pop star rebrand--Kay's, Jolly Jax, Walz Hr No. 1, Syd's--and finally landed as the White House on Division Street. Iconic, right? I mentioned to my best friend that I'd been dying to try it--she immediately lit up like it was memory lane and started reminiscing about corndogs and fries with her grandma. And let me tell you, she wasn't lying: THEY. DID. NOT. MISS. This place has been on my foodie to-do list for three whole years and guess what? 2025 is my year, baby! I finally pulled up for lunch and let me just say--it was love at first bite. I ordered a corn dog, fries, and a taco (yes, a taco!) all for under 10 bucks. It was hot, fresh, fast, and full of flavor. No frills, just good food done right. If you're all about supporting local spots with soul and a slice of history, do yourself a favor and swing by. Ted's isn't just a drive-in--it's a whole Antelope Valley rite of passage. I'm officially a believer... and already planning my next trip back!
