This review is for the coffee beans. The person at the window did not have a lot of info on the coffee. I usually like light roast but they only have one kind and it's medium/dark as far as their description I would say it's more of a medium. I believe it's a single origin South America. I'm not sure how it was processed. It did have a good smell. I would say it's on the fresher side maybe around two weeks from roast. I'm using it for pour over in a chemex and I will say it is good and I usually like Ethiopian lighter roast. Nice Rich flavor caffeine seems to be on the high side.

Hands down my favorite coffee place! Sometimes it's hard to find a good place for coffee, especially living out here in the AV. So let me just say that if you live here or you're passing through you absolutely have to try Lobo! They never disappoint and they are all just so friendly. I especially love how they switch up drinks for the holidays. They have never disappointed me, not even once! I really wish they were open longer or had another location to make it more accessible.

I have been here a few times since they opened, they have delicious drinks(I love the banana matcha). Friendly and fast service.

I've only ever had the matcha here but it's really good. I just wish the hours were better.

Great signature coffees. Good service and a neat little rewards program to match. Recommended heavily around me now a regular.

Delicious! The coffee was really good, but it is expensive. Definitely have to save it as a treat because of that.

Latte tasted like it was made with reused coffee grounds. It did not taste like coffee at all. Cold brew is okay though.

On top of that, their baristas were very personable. I ordered a triple shot over ice (my usual litmus test for coffee quality), and their espresso was very smooth without any bitter aftertaste, great pull. I also had their raspberry tea, also great! I didn't try any of their food this time but I will be back, given the outlet situation. Thanks for the great space and service!

In a community like…read morethe Antelope Valley, local support really matters, so it's always surprising when a business doesn't seem to value the people who keep it running. Apparently taking a moment to decide what you'd like to order is considered an inconvenience here. The cashier made a gesture implying she needed to hurry up, which felt unnecessarily dismissive especially when someone is simply trying to decide how they'd like to spend their hard-earned money. It's a shame, because local businesses thrive on positive interactions with their customers. Experiences like this make it much easier to understand why so many other coffee spots are opening throughout the AV and gaining loyal support. Needless to say, my family and I will be taking our coffee runs elsewhere moving forward. There are plenty of places in the AV that manage to serve great coffee and treat their customers with courtesy. San Fernando Coffee Co. OVER Trio Coffee House any day of the week.

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

I landed on the Lil Sumtin' flat white -- made with an herbal and floral honey blend -- and it was absolutely delightful. Paired it with their gluten-free pound cake, which was surprisingly moist and delicious. No compromises on flavor whatsoever.
