My sister-in-law had a pretty disappointing experience at this location today. In a community like…read morethe Antelope Valley, local support really matters, so it's always surprising when a business doesn't seem to value the people who keep it running. Apparently taking a moment to decide what you'd like to order is considered an inconvenience here. The cashier made a gesture implying she needed to hurry up, which felt unnecessarily dismissive especially when someone is simply trying to decide how they'd like to spend their hard-earned money. It's a shame, because local businesses thrive on positive interactions with their customers. Experiences like this make it much easier to understand why so many other coffee spots are opening throughout the AV and gaining loyal support. Needless to say, my family and I will be taking our coffee runs elsewhere moving forward. There are plenty of places in the AV that manage to serve great coffee and treat their customers with courtesy. San Fernando Coffee Co. OVER Trio Coffee House any day of the week.

There's plenty of parking both in the back and along the street, so you don't have to stress about finding a spot. We ordered Honey Bunny Latte, and they were honestly so good. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. You can tell they use quality ingredients because the flavor was rich without being heavy or bitter. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. They even had reusable shaped straws for valentines season! The service was friendly, quick, and welcoming. It didn't feel rushed, and the whole experience was easy and pleasant from start to finish. I love supporting local spots, and this is definitely one of those places you want to come back to. If you're in Lancaster and want a solid coffee stop that's easy to access with great drinks, this place is 100% worth checking out. They also have non coffee items on the menu I'll have to check out next time

Unincorporated Coffee Roasters A Hidden Gem in Altadena!…read more If you're looking for a truly standout coffee spot in Altadena, Unincorporated Coffee Roasters is a must-visit. This local favorite has carved a reputation for exceptional specialty coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back again and again. My absolute favorite drink here is the Fancy Iced Latte -- it's perfectly balanced, refreshing, and never too sweet while still highlighting the rich espresso flavor. Locals and visitors alike often rave about the quality of the coffee and the care that goes into every cup. When it comes to food, the turkey and provolone croissant is a personal favorite -- flaky, buttery, and packed with savory goodness that pairs wonderfully with a cold latte. I also love the everything bagel danish; it's deliciously unique, with a satisfying savory twist that hits the spot in the morning. Both pastries reflect the same thoughtful quality you see in their coffee offerings. The vibe here is cozy and welcoming, with knowledgeable, friendly staff and a neighborhood energy that makes it easy to relax or get some work done. Unincorporated has become a cherished part of the community, and I can confidently say it's one of the best coffee experiences in the area. If you haven't been yet, put it on your morning coffee rotation -- you won't regret it!

After living nearby for several years I finally checked out Unincorporated on a Saturday afternoon, ordering an iced and regular lattes ($6.50 each). They were tasty and well made. Interior is clean and unassuming, staff friendly and approachable. Prices are a little high but not unreasonable for a local coffee shop experience. Parking in the back with a nice patio behind. Worthy of a stop if you're in the area, and a refreshing change from Starbucks and other chains. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Value: 4/5

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

The space is actually one of their biggest strengths there's a lot of seating, plenty of room to bring your laptop and work remotely, and areas where people can gather. It's also connected to a church, so it definitely leans into that community-centered atmosphere. Unfortunately, after going back 3-4 times hoping my experience would improve, the coffee has been consistently disappointing. It tastes burnt and weak at the same time like warm water with sugar. There barely seems to be any real espresso in the drinks. On more than one occasion, I've taken several sips hoping it would get better... and ended up throwing the whole drink away because it was just that bad. That's honestly frustrating, especially when you're paying for specialty coffee. The only drink I've actually enjoyed there is the pumpkin spice latte, that one was solid.
