Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and the place wasn't busy. Small and cozy place with a simple menu.I opted for a strawberry matcha upon recommendation from the friendly barista. Good ratio of matcha and strawberry. They offer 3 sizes so I went with the medium. The prices are fair for the area. I would definitely recommend this business.
What I love most is how this place brings people together. They host multiple events that make it so easy to meet others in the community, all bonded by a shared love of coffee. The workers are also some of the sweetest people and always make the experience feel welcoming! One thing to know is their drinks tend to be pretty sweet, so if you prefer less sweetness, I definitely recommend ordering half sweet. And I HAVE to mention my favorite drink of all time: the Valentine's special, the "Red Flag" (a caramel latte with cream cheese cold foam and sea salt). It was SO good and I'm still thinking about it!

i love coming here but the last few times its been the same girl, Ashley i believe well thats what she told me. She is always in a mood. Its always a sour experience with her. Everyone else always greets me, their always so bubbly and sweet which usually stands out from other coffee shops but like i said the past 3/4 times shes there its like why come here if i don't even feel welcome and she even rolls her eyes because she HAS to do her job and take my order. i hope the owner sees this, you need to replace that employee, SO CHILDISH.
Stopped by this coffee shop on the way to Mammoth. The menu and style of the shop was cute. However, the wait for the drinks was a major setback. We ordered 4 drinks and it took more than 30 minutes for them to be made. I would understand if the line was out the door, but when we walked in there were only two small groups ahead of us waiting to order. The rest of the coffee shop was filled with people waiting for their drinks. I could also tell that many people were set off by the wait and it wasn't just our group. I'm one and all for being patient, but with 3-4 workers the flow should be better/needs improvement. The coffee itself was substandard. We ordered a caramel hazelnut latte with vanilla cold foam, a Spanish latte, and one of their Valentine specials called the Red Flag (caramel latte with cream cheese foam & sea salt). Compared to places in OC and LA county, the coffee wasn't as flavorful. I saw the Monin syrups and thought I could still give this coffee shop a chance, but I would pass the next time around. I like to give smaller coffee shops a chance, yet I also prefer ones that have some homemade syrups. Better off getting coffee bean or starbucks nearby-- more flavorful coffee and quicker service.
Visited Trio today after going to 3 other coffee shops to sit and do homework. Trio was the only shop that had outlets (unbelievable, do better, other coffee shops). On top of that, their baristas were very personable. I ordered a triple shot over ice (my usual litmus test for coffee quality), and their espresso was very smooth without any bitter aftertaste, great pull. I also had their raspberry tea, also great! I didn't try any of their food this time but I will be back, given the outlet situation. Thanks for the great space and service!
I got the summer refresher and it was so yummy! It's a bit sweet so beware lol we also got the banana match, so good!! The service was 10/10, I didn't get her name but she was the girl on register with half black half blonde hair, she was the kindest girl ever! The barista was also awesome he was super busy, and took the time to give me a cup of water - it was honestly great service! The vibes inside are so cozy and fun! Loved it :)

Awesome little shop. The cold brew had a dark, roasty flavor with a little bit of natural sweetness. The sandwich was amazing as well, starts life as a jalapeño bagel, gets ham and cheese applied and then thrown into the panini press. Staff was quick and efficient, pleasant to deal with. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area.
What a cute little shop! It's a cozy interior that would be a lovely spot to catch up with a friend. I also appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff was. They were great about explaining menu items to guests and offering suggestions. I opted for a matcha and a jalapeno bagel. The bagel was soft and had a good flavor! The matcha had a good flavor but my one knock is they only have sweetened matcha and I typically enjoy unsweetened. I would definitely come back to try their other offerings though!
After 1.5 hours on the glorious 5 freeway (because...LA), my body staged a caffeine protest. Luckily, I saw this coffee house and it did not disappoint. The menu was clear, with plenty of signage and even a dedicated fall menu for all the PSL enthusiasts (noted for next time). The wait was about 10-15 minutes for two iced lattes and a blueberry loaf. Must try: iced vanilla latte with pistachio foam--smooth, sweet, and just the pick-me-up you need. The blueberry loaf was perfectly moist. As someone who doesn't venture out to Antelope Valley often, this place is officially a must try. Worth the stop, worth the foam, and worth ditching the grab-and-go from the gas station.
I was craving a chai and I saw they had a strawberry option to choose from. It did not disappoint, the subtle hint of strawberry made this drink a little sweet with just the right amount. Now I didn't go into this order blind as I've had the horchata latte and their strawberry matcha before, and never had an issue. This time around, the horchata was grainy like it wasn't strained, and the berry flavor was a bit too artificial and over powering. You couldn't even taste the espresso. Upon taking that first sip, my bff and I looked each other almost simultaneously. This was AFTER we already posted to our stories hyping up Trio as we always do, because yay for Woman owned small business! After much deliberation and hesitation, we returned to the drink counter in hopes of having it remade or just getting a new drink all together. Instead of remaking the drinks, we were offered to add more milk to the current drinks or to buy 2 new drinks at a 50% discount. I was both surprised and let down at that response especially when it was a quality issue and not a picky complaint. I understand everything is more expensive these days but bruh. I went ahead and bought the 2 new drinks (Mexican mocha iced). When ordering with a different girl at the register she asked what the problem was and acknowledged that they've received a number of comments about the horchata. *stares in disbelief* I paid, got our drinks, and sat my ass down in shock like I just got hustled. We deleted our posts on socials as a result of said hustle. Anyway, I'll still go to Trio but now I know better than to stray off the beaten path to explore new flavors because you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. Unless you pay for it of course.
Coffee lovers, this one's for you! I've officially made it to both Trio Coffee House locations, and they've been consistently amazing every time. Today's order: a Spanish Latte + Banana Matcha, and they were absolutely incredible. Fast service, even with a packed café, cozy vibes, and drinks that actually live up to the hype. This is your sign to treat yourself. 10/10. Already thinking about my next visit. read more

My cousin recommended we tried this spot since we were in the area. Let me start with the aesthetics of this coffee shop. They have the cutest coffee artwork that reminds me of cuphead. They have multiple tables set up in door where you can catch up on studying or catch up with your friends. If you want a cute tote bag they have that in stock too. Now the coffee, I got a Spanish latte and a Mexican mocha latte. For both lattes I paid a little under $14. They were both pretty different from each other. The Spanish latte was more of a macchiato and it was a little too sweet. You could still taste the espresso but the sweetness made it a little hard to enjoy. The Mexican mocha had a lot of cinnamon and chocolate notes. This one wasn't as sweet but there was a lot of graininess in the coffee from the cinnamon and chocolate. I do wish their milk alternatives weren't as expensive ($1.25). It really makes you reconsider if you want to spend $8+ on coffee. read more

Cute little coffee shop. I was so glad to had found this little gem. A co worker recommended this spot as I am still new to the AV. I stopped here after shopping at Sam's and let me tell you this latte did not disappoint. I tried the horchata iced latte and it was so delicious. It was the right balance of sweet with coffee and very creamy, I loved that I was able to taste the coffee on this. I also appreciated the kind cashier that recommended this to me. Been trying to try this coz of matcha but Matcha is not good, def a batch made matcha! coffee is too sweet! Just like mcdonalds coffee. If i wanted the same taste then I should have just went to mcdonalds instead and itll be cheaper!!! Also why the fuck is there SERVICE CHARGE?? for what??? We ordered coffee online for pick up from their website and youre gonna charge me service charge?? Should i come and make my own order then?!? Yea sure its cents but there shouldn't have any!! Starbucks doesn't even do that LOL! Nowadays businesses are using service charges as mandatory charges just in case people wont tip!! And the audacity to ask for tip!! Upon pick up, employees were not welcoming and vibe is just not it. Will not comeback! Theres much better places out there! read more

I just moved to Palmdale and I was looking for my new coffee spot. I'm so glad I found Trio! It's super cute on the inside and the baristas are welcoming and have their work cut out for them! It's super busy some mornings and they handle the lines super well. I like how there's plenty of seating too while you wait and they have free wifi if you need to do work or homework. We are frequent customers and love the taste of Trio beverages. HANDS DOWN the best matches in the AV. However, today felt like the last straw in disappointment due to the wait times :( Today we were the only customers inside the store 5:07pm and did not receive our drink until 5:21pm Only 1 other person came in to pick up 2 drinks. It unfortunate that we had to wait that long for 1 large drink. It seemed like they were more focused on cleaning and moping the floor instead of getting a drink out. The employee Ashley didn't acknowledge or apologize for making us wait a whole :( it hurts us to not feel noticed in the sense of attending to customers. My friends and I have been dying to try this place. We all ordered a Vanilla Matcha Latte which was just okay. I don't think it's the best matcha I've had so maybe next time I'll try something different. The drinks are around $7 to $8 for a medium, a little pricey! It's very small inside the coffee shop so I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to study at. The staff was okay I think the guy in the front was still training so the line was just a bit long. read more

I went here two mornings in a row after being on a family emergency in Palmdale, I got to try to Spanish latte, vanilla latte and pistachio cold foam, as well as the caramel brûlée latte. My favorite one was the Spanish latte by far! I could not really taste the pistachio in the vanilla latte with pistachio but it was still good. The service was friendly but a little slow on both days, which is worth it for good coffee! But just a heads up for those in a rush. My fiancé also had lemonades and enjoyed them. I would definitely go again when I am in the area again. read more

I really like this coffee shop! I love how they have coconut milk as an alternative, not too many shops offer coconut milk so we love to see it. I came two days in a row. The coffee is great, the matcha is a bold flavor and the strawberry syrup or purée tasted very fresh. I love how you can order ahead online. The service is fast. There's not much seating inside but it's still a cute spot to hang with friends. Plus there is lots of parking. read more

This was one of the most disappointing coffee shop visits I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, it didn't feel welcoming. The "welcome in" from staff was so dry it seemed like they didn't even want to be there. The environment itself felt cramped and uncomfortable, which didn't help the first impression. What really concerned me was the lack of an LA County Health Letter Grade anywhere in sight. That's usually one of the first things I look for, and not seeing it makes me question the cleanliness of the entire operation. On top of that, the ice machine was wide open with obvious calcium build-up inside, and the espresso bar area looked unkempt with coffee grounds scattered all over. None of that gave me confidence in how this shop is run. Service didn't make things better. The cashier wasn't sure how to answer basic questions about the menu and didn't even bother to be upfront about not knowing. My wife's drink came out grainy, and both of our drinks were overly sweet to the point where the coffee flavor was completely lost. It honestly felt like everything relied on Monin syrups instead of any real effort or quality. Overall, the experience was unpleasant from start to finish; poor service, questionable cleanliness, and drinks that weren't worth finishing. I won't be coming back, and I'd recommend checking out other nearby coffee shops that actually put care into their drinks and customer service. read more
Came to Palmdale to visit some family & this coffee spot was the closest so I definitely had to try it out. The place is cute but a bit cramped, not a big deal tho. All the girls that were working were nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend coming to try out their specialties or just in general. read more

I am UTTERLY in love with Trio! And so is my picky grandmother! She's OBSESSED with the caramel hazelnut latte! The pastries are so delicious! The workers are literally so awesome and kind! So many fun flavors to try I'm trying to try them all! One time my grandma went TWICE in one day because her drink was so delicious! Trio is honestly a great coffee shop! So worth it! It's such a cozy and calm environment! Like I said the workers are AWESOME! Best coffee shop like ever! I genuinely hope Trio continues to grow as a company they're great! Very disappointed, this was my first time here as there were lots of good reviews on social media.But once I walked in the service was ok not really welcoming. When I received the drinks they looked promising but once I mixed everything together, the matcha flavor was almost nonexistent and it tasted like straight creamer and watered down. Matcha should not be a light sage green color! Lastly, prices did not match the quality of the drinks. $18 dollars for 2 drinks is ridiculous!! read more

Found this local coffee shop when I was in the area. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The inside has a good amount of space to hangout or study, with free WiFi and a couple outlets. The workers were really friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the drinks! I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with Coconut Cold Foam, and it was delicious! The matcha was a good flavor and paired well with the coconut foam on top. It was on the sweeter side, but not overly sweet. My fiancé ordered an Iced Americano with Vanilla Cold Foam. He liked the drink and thought the espresso was strong, but he did want a bit more cold foam as his didn't have as much. Overall, I was impressed with the drinks and service! read more
