Apparently taking a moment to decide what you'd like to order is considered an inconvenience here. The cashier made a gesture implying she needed to hurry up, which felt unnecessarily dismissive especially when someone is simply trying to decide how they'd like to spend their hard-earned money. It's a shame, because local businesses thrive on positive interactions with their customers. Experiences like this make it much easier to understand why so many other coffee spots are opening throughout the AV and gaining loyal support. Needless to say, my family and I will be taking our coffee runs elsewhere moving forward. To make matters worse, the prices have gone up quite a bit, and the value just doesn't feel the same as it used to.
