The issue is that, when I arrived, I overheard a conversation between the staff that they had accidentally given someone someone else's order. The staff stated that they put the wrong ticket on an order and it was given out. A few minutes later, a gentleman came in and stated that he was missing two drinks from his order. When the staff noticed the man, they realize he was the person they gave the wrong order to. They informed him of this and asked him to bring back the order. They were happy by this revelation. The man brought back the order. They then placed the ticket with my name on it on this order. The staff then asked me again for my name and then I was given this order. The staff did not acknowledge the situation. The staff did not apologize. Due to it being 40 minutes before closing and me having a large order. I did not ask them to remake the order. I previously worked in the fast food industry for 5+ years. At every restaurant I worked at, policy was always that, if food leaves the kitchen and is returned, it has to be thrown away. It does not matter if the food has been opened or not, it was always required to be thrown away. I do not know why that was not done in this situation. Thankfully, the food was good, but I do not think I will be coming back to the store anytime soon. If they could've at least acknowledge the mistake they made, I would've felt better about the ordeal. They saw me there the entire time and saw that I saw the entire ordeal and never acknowledged it. I ordered a Happy Meal including chicken McNuggets and a serving of the unmatched McDonalds's French fries with BBQ sauce, along with apple juice and sliced apples. A "Stranger Things" toy was also included. The Happy Meal is possibly one of the best marketing devices ever and it did indeed make me very happy. It's for children of all ages, including me. The sign in the window indicated that this McDonald's is a family-owned franchise, so keep up the good work!
