Within walking this distance from our office, Blue Oak is another small coffee shop in the downtown district. They have an array of pastries in the case. I tried the lemon scone, which I was told the lemons were sourced locally. The lady was super nice! I ordered an iced matcha latte. While it was okay, I felt it was a bit lacking in matcha flavor and the color reflects that, I'd much prefer Dagny's iced matcha latte. Nevertheless, it's nice to support small business owners in the community. Might come back another time.

When I am downtown I always look for local coffee shops with a cozy vibe and this definitely made for the perfect choice. It's VERY cute, and cozy inside with their decorations, several chair options (beautiful couches, chairs to sit and chat with a friend). The staff was super kind, positive attitude and helpful with the menu options. The coffee is delicious . I asked for iced cafe latte with oat milk (24 oz) and half sweet with the Kris Kringle flavored option. My husband tried the horchata flavor. They have sugar free options, non-dairy milk alternatives ($1 extra for non-dairy) and they even have pastries that looked delicious and fresh. Also, the coffee was affordable and great quality. Under $14 for two 24 oz iced coffees

This is one of my top 3 coffee places here in Bakersfield! Service is always super friendly, coffee is great and so is the food! Sugar-Free options are offered, seating area is beautiful. Order can be a bit of a wait but I never mind because it's usually the same amazing lady working by herself. Always worth the wait and always looking forward to stopping by.

This place is in the heart of downtown Bakersfield. It has multiple options to choose from, whether it be from their fresh brewed coffee or the breakfast amdnor lunch options. They roast their own coffees too, which are on sale at this location. There isn't a ton of seating within the coffee shop, which is not so great, but I don't think I could sit in there while doing any work related activities, because it sounds like a massage parlor with the waves soundtrack playing on repeat.

Coffee Shop No. 433 Blue Oak Coffee Co. Bakersfield, CA October 11, 2024 On the corner of 20th and G Street in downtown Bakersfield sits a quaint little cafe, Blue Oak Coffee Roasting. Although it's a small place (indoor seating is limited) the cafe serves bold and delicious espresso drinks. The decor was pretty fabulous. The wood accent wall caught my attention. Two gentlemen I had never met were sitting at the arm chairs so I decided to embarrass my teenager and ask the gentlemen if I could take their picture in front of the wall; which they kindly obliged to. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of my cortado. I don't think that has happened in the last three years of my life. After joyfully sipping on my cortado I took my son to the opposite corner of the block to see the Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater. Enjoying life one cortado at a time! Even if no picture was taken to prove it!

Feels comfortable and definitely like you're having coffee at home. Winter time felt great here and they have a ton of holiday drinks to choose from! R&D was so expansive I felt the passion in craft just from reading the menu. The person up front was so sweet and dealt with all the traffic alone, I hope this place has more help on a typical day as they deserve more recognition.

I love this place! I've been trying to visit more local coffee shops instead of the bigger chains. This one does not disappoint. They have a great menu, the coffee is delicious and they have the nicest people that work here. It's a cute shop located right on the corner. Super cozy shop, dog friendly, and even the decor gives hints of Harry Potter. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend their fall drinks!

We planned our trip and also added your coffee shop to it, but you didn't bother to update the schedule and the coffee shop was closed at 8:30 in the morning.

TLDR: Good coffee, great variety and very courteous staff We tried Blue Oak Coffee Roasting in our drive from SF to San Diego. Stopped in Bakersfield for the night and decided to start the day with a coffee from Blue Oak. This was a great decision and we had some nice sugar free options to choose from. Nice ambience and the lady was very polite and pleasant to speak with. Given she was handling everything alone from taking to preparing the orders there was some wait to get our orders but worth the wait in their pleasant cafe ambiance. Overall great experience

The place is just down the street from the Fox Theater. It has the neighborhood cafe web. The customers seem to be regulars and know the barista by name. It is a rustic little cafe, exposed concrete, reclaimed wood tables, with some blue tufted sofas under the sign. Dark, and quite relaxing. The focus of course, is their coffee roast. My latte was smooth, tasty, quite restrained burn flavor. Overall a wonderful coffee. Definitely a place to hide from the daily grind and enjoy an artisan roasted coffee.

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As they deserve a free half star for all of the Uncharted Adventures that they are a part of...lol get it.. nevermind.. bye for now...

As I was walking I saw the sign for this place and was happy I did because my other coffee options were a fast food restaurant or the famous coffee chain. It was a bit confusing to locate. It was tucked away in the back of a commercial office space type building. Once inside the place was very clean and organized. Very minimalist design. I was only one of 4 total people inside. My order was taken quickly. I ordered an iced americano with a ham and cheese turnover. Coffee was on point. No notes. No complaints. The pastry however was not good. They asked me if I wanted it heated up. I said I did. I saw her put it in the microwave, and I assumed they turned it on. When I bit into it (I had already left and walked across the street) it was cold. Like cold cold. On top of that it was flavorless which made it worse. Being driven back from the Grand Canyon having spent nearly a week camping with some awesome people from SJSU, we were informed we were staying at a Super 8 motel overnight to take hot showers and sleep on beds (one week of camping will do that). I had search on Google for coffee nearby and saw this "Bikini Bottom Coffee" shop pop up and yes, I was intrigued of a coffee shop with bikini clad baristas. But it was getting late and we had an early departure for San Jose the next day so I bookmarked this place just in case the free coffee and breakfast offering at the motel did not speak to me (it was terrible...). The morning of the departure, I got up early and it was just a 1-minute walk there and they have two(?) drive by lanes for cars to pull up to order. You can also just walk up to order. Aside from the obvious -- baristas in bikinis taking your order, they have an extensive list of coffee drinks and souvenirs you can buy. Given I need my morning cup of coffee, I opted for the House Blend Bue Coffee and their French toast breakfast sandwich. My verdict? The coffee was alright. I have had better coffee, but given my choice of free (gross) coffee at Super 8 vs my bikini coffee, the latter was a much better solid choice. The French toast breakfast sandwich was heavy with sausage, bacon, and eggs if you are a meat lover. Customer service was excellent so I will give them props for being patient with me while deciding what to order. Overall, it's a good coffee pit stop (if Dutch Bros isn't around) with good customer service vibes (and no, it is not what you think lol).

The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer.
