    Cold brew and cold foam
    Bethany R.

Quick stop downtown on a Saturday morning. Service was fast and friendly and the place was hopping with People but we got our order quick. It was very simple order though 2 cold brews with cold foams. They were high quality and yummy. We are watching our sugar so we didn't do the suggested golden foam which has sugar. Fun to see so many people sitting outside on the patio enjoying the relatively cool summer morning.

Finally made it into Reverb coffee downtown at Woolworths! We came in on a Friday morning around 10am - the posted hours were to open at 7am but turns out they had a meeting and weren't able to open until after 10, but the employees were keeping their eyes peeled for caffeine freaks itching to get a fix and were super helpful and told everyone sorry they were still opening etc. they were really good about it. We just popped into another awesome spot before we went in for coffee, by the time we were done at that place and made our way back to Reverb they were ready and pippin' out drinks. I got to try the fridge cig and it was a fun experience - especially on a hot day, it lived up to the name. The husband loves the figgy smalls and ordered that. The shop is small but still very open and bright. I already can't wait to go back. The coffee is so good.

I had the pleasure of trying this matcha tonight. I truly enjoyed it. I had wanted to try something and this is what I chose. Very refreshing, so if you havent tried them out yet I recommend that you give it a shot I believe youll enjoy the selection.

It seems like the whole town is running on Reverb coffee. My whole family loves it. From fun business meetings to time with loved ones, I seem to consistently find reasons to end up at Reverb. They prioritize high quality drinks with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. The Reverb team is super tight nit like a group of old friends, and currently primarily consists of the founders and owners. The whole team is welcoming and kind. It's easy to feel a part of the Reverb fam. They're all great at what they do as well. The greenest set of hands on deck still has roughly 15 years experience in coffee and beverages. True students and artisans of their craft. The cold brew with cold foam and honey brown sugar was a recent favorite for the whole fam. The cart gives a hometown retro vibe which goes well in the Woolworth's building. Reverb will also often carry baked goods and treats from other local businesses. They also cater events and do a great job! They were at an event I attended and were a highlight guests mentioned all night long!

iced matcha latte with whole milk and honey brown sugar syrup.

It was my first time here and the people who were working were very sweet and informative of the popular drinks! I ordered the iced matcha latte and was recommended to add the honey brown sugar syrup since it does not come with any sweeteners. The matcha was a 10/10, not watered down, not too sweet or too bitter! The inside of the location was also really clean! No seating in the reverb area, so it is a stop and go but Woolworth's has seating to the left of the area.

Reverb Coffee is in the Woolworth's building in downtown Bakersfield. I was happy to see how many people were coming in to support this business. The interior is very simple and white. There are high top tables but no stools inside. However, they have tables and chairs on the patio.I had an iced Heath Richard's. My coffee was very good, just wish they had more milk options.

This place has a lot of buzz, it is in the newly renovated Woolworth building. It was hopping on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly service. I ordered a latte, it was delicious. My friend's macha was also good. Another good cafe if you are down town.

Great matcha drinks for those who don't want a coffee, nice chill vibes. Great on the Moneywise teams for this nice addition for the Woolworth diner.

Reverb is totally worth the hype. My first time coming to coffee places i always get the vanilla latte with oat milk. The color of my coffee was perfect and it wasn't overly sweet. The service was quick and I look forward to trying some of their specialty flavors next time! There was a pretty long line and we waited about 20 mins for our coffee but I'd say it was worth the wait. There's standing room and a few tables you can hangout at. If Woolworths diner is open there are more places to sit around. I look forward to my next cup of coffee here.

I love love love the matcha and coffee at Reverb! This new cute cafe has taken over downtown Bakersfield! The heath and sage brown sugar matcha and latte are my go tos! I love the weekly rotation of donuts, pastries, and bagels. The hot fig latte is really something. There is nothing you can order that won't blow your mind! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, really love the staff and atmosphere.

I finally had a chance to try this new coffee spot which is located inside the Woolworths building. They offer matcha, coffee (iced or hot) and have some pastries as well as merchandise with their name on it. Staff was kind, attentive, willing to answer questions, and shared the meaning behind the name Reverb. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and honey brown sugar syrup. I like that they have non dairy alternatives and sugar free syrup options. My coffee was decent maybe I just need to give it a try again because it wasn't very strong. I am open to trying the coffee again because service was good. Super mellow, chill vibes inside and they have tables outside to sit with friends and enjoy the coffee.

Located in the newly renovated Woolworth's building, the Reverb Coffee crew does a good job! Service was quick and the crew were hard at work! I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup and my matcha was smooth and silky and tasted great and not to earthy! Definitely come check out Reverb!

Coffee shop is small and furniture looks very used, aesthetically not very appealing but I'm here for coffee, right? Several signature drink options and quite a few sugar-free options as well. I was undecided between the lavender latte and the Mexican mocha. Barista told me the Mexican mocha was her favorite, so I went with that. The coffee was extremely hot but honestly, nothing spectacular. It's was extremely basic and know I can make this at home. They used a powder mix but nothing to make it their own, just right out of can..so disappointing. They did have several baked good options. I probably wouldn't come back here. No restrooms are available for customers.

My wife's cold brew, though... was rough. Like really rough. Hard to finish. Food was also hit or miss. The blueberry empanada was absolute perfection -- a delicious, non-sweet pastry with a bright blueberry filling that worked beautifully together. Easily the highlight. On the other hand, the butter English scone thingy was honestly inedible. Overall: some real standouts and some big misses. A mixed experience, but that blueberry empanada alone almost makes it worth another try.

As I was walking I saw the sign for this place and was happy I did because my other coffee options were a fast food restaurant or the famous coffee chain. It was a bit confusing to locate. It was tucked away in the back of a commercial office space type building. Once inside the place was very clean and organized. Very minimalist design. I was only one of 4 total people inside. My order was taken quickly. I ordered an iced americano with a ham and cheese turnover. Coffee was on point. No notes. No complaints. The pastry however was not good. They asked me if I wanted it heated up. I said I did. I saw her put it in the microwave, and I assumed they turned it on. When I bit into it (I had already left and walked across the street) it was cold. Like cold cold. On top of that it was flavorless which made it worse. Stick to the coffee or make sure you check the temp of the food prior to leaving.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk, and it was flavorful but not overly sweet. The food menu is small, with a few baked goods available. As a vegan, the only option I found was instant oatmeal with a selection of dried fruit and nuts to mix in. While I appreciated having a vegan option, I would love to see a few more plant-based choices added to the menu. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return for the coffee and the comfortable space to meet with friends.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning, thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded. There's something for everyone on their men. I think they have some of the best matcha's around (but if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener.. you probably won't like a real matcha from here) -- I say this bc people complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol -- all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out. Plenty of spaces to work from (one of my fav spots) Service is always ask expected for hand crafted drinks and food! The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products, love that! Their pop tarts... if you can get them when they have them.. TRY THEM OUT!! Actually, all their pastry's and breakfast items are delicious! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha I will always come here for food/homemade pastries , a drink or to work!

You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.
