We have been wanting to try this place out for a while just couldn't find the time until now. I brought my boys with me to try some drinks out. I got the Mango geek tea and the boys got the banana mocha latte off the little geek menu. The barista was very fun to talk to. He told me that they make many of the syrup in house, including the mango and banana syrup. Our drinks were very sweet and delicious. We were all very happy to stop by. This establishment is located inside another business. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and it was ok. Nothing really stood out with my drink order. Typical strawberry flavored syrup, milk and matcha. It was topped with freeze dried strawberry pieces. I personally prefer a real strawberry purée rather than a strawberry flavored syrup. Jittery Geeks is super cute! I've been here a couple times now and everything I've tried has just the right amount of sweetness and caffeine. Everyone here has great vibes and makes fire beverages. The fun seasonal menus rotate too so you'll always have something unique to sip on. From their February menu we tried the Love Spell and My Bloody Valentines and from the regular menu, the So Fetch. The Swamp Latte (matcha and espresso) was fan-freaking-tastic. It was the drink deal of the day ($5 for a 16oz) on Sunday, so that's why I gave it a try. Had I known I'd be waiting 40 minutes for this latte to be served to me, I would have been shopping instead of wasting my time milling around the cafe area. I think they need to give customers a text to come when their drink is ready. It was really super weird that "be ready in a few minutes" was the going phrase-- it completely set the wrong expectations. I don't want to be lied to. If you need a lot of time to make my drink, tell me! I would have totally been happy shopping for antiques, which was my main purpose. I have never been inside in your wildest dreams. This coffee spot is located inside the larger establishment. The barista was kind and knowledgeable about the product. I asked what her favorite drink was and she said the so fetch latte. I ordered a small with medium ice. She was very friendly and made small conversation before she said I could look around while she makes my drink. The drink was fabulous. Before I mixed it I tasted the pink portion first and it reminded me of strawberry milk. Once mix it maintained its taste with the espresso layer that fit together perfectly. My fiancée and I went here to grab myself a matcha and him a coffee, we ordered and waited, we overheard the baristas talk about how they don't know how to make/ like making matcha and talked about how they either make it too thick and pasty or too watery... i was already skeptical/ disappointed overhearing that, and when i received it, it was low quality grade matcha, grainy, and on the pricier side. Got a chance to try out Jittery Geeks for lunch the other day and overall it was a pretty good experience. I went for their quesadilla lunch combo which is a quesadilla and a soup for $10. Price is reasonable for what you get, the quesadilla was packed with cheese, no complaints about that at all. They did say all they had was cheddar cheese so I'm not sure what they use regularly but they were out of it, no biggie, still tasted great. The soup was fine, it has a really creamy texture which was nice but it also had chunks of tomato in it that weren't fully cooked so I got a piece of tomato every so often while eating it, just need a little more cooking time. For a drink I had a dead eye, good coffee. It's not some cheap coffee like folgers or anything, it was a pretty good coffee. It was a nice pick me up in the afternoon and kept me going through the day. Overall had a good experience here and I'd come back again. read more

I wanted coffee this morning but not the same thing. So i went to Yelp (if you are not using Yelp what are you doing with your life). Yelp told me about Jittery Geeks. Never heard but started my mission. Didn't know where I was going. GPS took me to F st. When I had "reached my destination " i didnt see any coffee. I went on the otherside and drove by the businesses. After passing twice i finally saw the sign. This coffee shop is inside In Your Wildest Imagination. At 8am they have a window to order from. Ordered white lavender latte and Blue lotus energy. Both tasted amazing both were $8. (24 ounce iced). Service was great she answered my questions and made suggestions. While i think $8 is a little high (but everything is) thinking I will be back as a treat. I finally got around to trying this place, and, unfortunately, it just wasn't my cup of tea (coffee?).. I really loved the staff - I wish I had gotten their names - they were both super sweet and funny! The shop is cute and the menu is fun. I respect the hustle for a small, local business, but the coffee was more like a dessert. I had stopped in with my friend and my kids and we all got something different. I chose a normal iced caramel latte, nothing too fancy, but it was rot-your-teeth out sweet. I ended up throwing it away after about 2 big sips. And my friend ordered something with swamp in the title - it was espresso and matcha I think, but she was also not a fan and ended up tossing her drink. My teenager got a drink with a mean girls name, though I can't remember what it was called right now, and she said it hurt her belly. And my toddler got a chocolate milk concoction. She was the only one that finished her drink with no complaints, but she is a bit of a chocolate fiend. lol I know super sweet is a lot of peoples' thing, so I definitely don't want to leave a bad review for this place, because - again - the vibes were there and the staff was great! Just be mindful that if you aren't in to super sugary drinks, you should be verbal about that and I am sure the super sweet staff would adjust your drinks accordingly! read more

My friends and I typically opt for The Swamp at this place, which is consistently great and balances the espresso and matcha well. I wanted something lower in caffeine this time around and didn't try the ceremonial grade matcha as many places are very hit or miss with using it, so I instead opted for the Dreamy Matcha as the description stated it was sweet and not as caffeinated. Unfortunately, the taste and consistency were basically like drinking straight up heavy cream. I thought it was just me, so I had my other friends try it and they said it tasted nothing like matcha and was even thicker than milk. I ordered it as part of our coffee run and just half way through the 24oz gave me a stomach ache. Definitely opt for a different drink when going lol. Drinks are overall great, but this was just not my luck! Don't let this stop you from trying it though!
