Twisted Coffee is THE Spooky lil' hotspot for all the horror fans out there ~ We came by on a Wednesday evening and my family tried the Shark Attack Lemonade and The Monkey Latte with Oat Milk. I heard the Shark Attack was pretty tasty. I enjoyed the flavors of The Monkey Latte, which was a pleasant surprise as I typically only drink tea cause coffee usually has me cracked out. This drink wasn't overly caffeinated and had a fun banana cream top, which I enjoyed. It would be cool for them to offer matcha, chai or earl grey lattes in the future. Our drinks were tasty, but we did have trouble pushing the straws through the lids for some reason ~ The horror themed atmosphere is a vibe fasho! The movie posters scattered across the wall are cute and the artwork throughout the shop gives a lot to reminisce about. I really appreciated the high, open ceilings ~ it makes the space feel a lot larger and fresher inside because it does get LIT with people in there! There are just a couple tables available, so hopefully we'll get a chance to chill here one day and enjoy the full Twisted experience. BTW The bathroom is especially creepy with the lights off. I recommend coming here if you enjoy horror cafes. Glad to see one open in Bakersfield now! Y'all have my support ~~

Okay bessstieeee! Twisted Coffee...you totally had me at Chucky! I finally made it in, and this spooky little coffee shop completely stole my heart. The Halloween vibes had me feeling so nostalgic with all my horror movie favorites from back in the day like Chucky, It, and Hocus Pocus! The owner was an absolute sweetheart and so easy to talk to. You can tell she truly loves what she's created. My coffee was delicious, and made with love! I like my coffee a little stronger than most so next time I will be sure to add the extra shot! Cute vibes, fun drinks, and amazing service? Say lessss queen!!!!! I already can't wait to come back, especially after hearing they're adding even more goodies to the menu!

Twisted Coffee is such a fun mix of spooky décor and genuinely great drinks. The horror theme gives the place a unique vibe, but the coffee is what really stands out. The Biscoff coffee was smooth and rich, the mocha banana coffee tasted like a chocolate‑banana treat, and the Biscoff cinnamon roll was warm and delicious. Super friendly staff and a memorable atmosphere definitely worth a visit. My only gripe would be there was only two tables, so we were unable to sit and enjoy our coffee and cinnamon roll. We had to eat it in the car.

Tried this coffee shop out for the first time. I love the decor and the different horror film themes. I also like the menu to go with the shop theme. I ordered a Carmel latte and the cookie since all the other pastries were not available. The coffee was ok but the cookie was awesome. The service was good and the temps inside were great on this hot Bakersfield day.

Welp. I tried. I've been here tons of times expecting pastries that I've seen online and there's never any. I want to support this business because I have a downtown business as well and I think it's amazing that this is here. But I'm always looking for juices and they don't have any which that's not their thing and I get it. But I guess my complaint is I've gone there almost everyday since opening and no pastries. Friends of mine have gotten some so I tried again and again. Never any luck. There is always a long line is completely always full, which is a good sign but I guess I will try again in the winter. Hopefully for something pumpkin.

The drinks were great. Very creatively named. The inside is all horror movie themed. Definitely paying homage to the old 80's horror movies. The service was fast and the employees were friendly. This is a great place to come and get a drink.

I've been so excited to try this new coffee shop & it did not disappoint! First thing we noticed was the large line; always a good sign! The line moved quick & we got our drinks fast which was awesome. Service was great. The co-owner was very friendly as well as the other employees working. Though the shop itself is small, it's so cute. I'm a huge horror fan & the decor was curated perfectly. Let's get to the drinks! My husband got the You'll Float Too soda & it tasted just like a root beer float. He loved it. My daughter got the Rotten to the Core lemonade. It was caramel apple flavored, very sweet but also refreshing. I got the Mourning Sunshine which is a vanilla latte. I don't like lattes too sweet & this was perfectly strong. The prices are very good & we will definitely be back. I'm interested in trying some pastries & other drinks! It was so hard to choose because they have so many options. Way to go on Bakersfield's first horror coffee shop! 10/10.

Vibes are really nice! And coffee is great :) I do recommend those who like a strong coffee to do an extra shot. They come with 3 but the sweetness from all the other stuff makes it taste sweeter. Overall great experience!

Coffee shop is small and furniture looks very used, aesthetically not very appealing but I'm here for coffee, right? Several signature drink options and quite a few sugar-free options as well. I was undecided between the lavender latte and the Mexican mocha. Barista told me the Mexican mocha was her favorite, so I went with that. The coffee was extremely hot but honestly, nothing spectacular. It's was extremely basic and know I can make this at home. They used a powder mix but nothing to make it their own, just right out of can..so disappointing. They did have several baked good options. I probably wouldn't come back here. My wife's cold brew, though... was rough. Like really rough. Hard to finish. Food was also hit or miss. The blueberry empanada was absolute perfection -- a delicious, non-sweet pastry with a bright blueberry filling that worked beautifully together. Easily the highlight. On the other hand, the butter English scone thingy was honestly inedible. Overall: some real standouts and some big misses. A mixed experience, but that blueberry empanada alone almost makes it worth another try.

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As I was walking I saw the sign for this place and was happy I did because my other coffee options were a fast food restaurant or the famous coffee chain. It was a bit confusing to locate. It was tucked away in the back of a commercial office space type building. Once inside the place was very clean and organized. Very minimalist design. I was only one of 4 total people inside. My order was taken quickly. I ordered an iced americano with a ham and cheese turnover. Coffee was on point. No notes. No complaints. The pastry however was not good. They asked me if I wanted it heated up. I said I did. I saw her put it in the microwave, and I assumed they turned it on. When I bit into it (I had already left and walked across the street) it was cold. Like cold cold. On top of that it was flavorless which made it worse. Being driven back from the Grand Canyon having spent nearly a week camping with some awesome people from SJSU, we were informed we were staying at a Super 8 motel overnight to take hot showers and sleep on beds (one week of camping will do that). I had search on Google for coffee nearby and saw this "Bikini Bottom Coffee" shop pop up and yes, I was intrigued of a coffee shop with bikini clad baristas. But it was getting late and we had an early departure for San Jose the next day so I bookmarked this place just in case the free coffee and breakfast offering at the motel did not speak to me (it was terrible...). The morning of the departure, I got up early and it was just a 1-minute walk there and they have two(?) drive by lanes for cars to pull up to order. You can also just walk up to order. Aside from the obvious -- baristas in bikinis taking your order, they have an extensive list of coffee drinks and souvenirs you can buy. Given I need my morning cup of coffee, I opted for the House Blend Bue Coffee and their French toast breakfast sandwich. My verdict? The coffee was alright. I have had better coffee, but given my choice of free (gross) coffee at Super 8 vs my bikini coffee, the latter was a much better solid choice. The French toast breakfast sandwich was heavy with sausage, bacon, and eggs if you are a meat lover. Customer service was excellent so I will give them props for being patient with me while deciding what to order. Overall, it's a good coffee pit stop (if Dutch Bros isn't around) with good customer service vibes (and no, it is not what you think lol).

The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer.
