I had myself a Vietnamese coffee and sat in the cafe for a couple of hours. I didn't really touch my iced coffee. I usually drink my coffee slowly because they make me have an upset stomach when I drink it fast. I was planning on being out all day so I wanted to drink it slowly. I think he was the owner of Presotea, walked over to me and stated "'maybe the drink is too strong for you and you like something sweeter." He insisted he'll make me a milk tea with boba, on the house. It was a sweet kind gesture. He doesn't know what happened at home. He doesn't know I'm exhausted and I'm sitting in his cafe trying to decompress from a really difficult day. He doesn't know I'm fighting really hard to hold back these tears of frustration. All he notices is that I really haven't drunk my coffee because maybe it is too strong. That tiny act of kindness hit differently because I feel like I'm suppose to notice everyone else's needs. Then a stranger noticed me. I didn't ask or complain or demand anything. He simply noticed. It's a grand gesture that human kindness exists out there, for this stranger, owner, thought "maybe this is too bitter. Let me make you something sweeter." Thank you. I feel better. read more

I don't know how many months this place has been out of Matcha. But I've gone by here periodically once a month and watches always sold out. Who would come here for a drink in the morning if there's no Matcha? This means you're getting a sugary drink with no caffeine. It's probably been going on six months now. So I am officially deleting the app. It's taking up space on my phone. And I don't believe I'll ever be back here. I've gotten contradictory comments saying management is replacing it with a different one. It has never happened. read more

Presotea is a great tea shop! I really like their large tea selection-- not just milk tea, but also fruit teas! The service was quick and there's two self-serve kiosks available if you don't want to get into the queue. There's lots of seating and games to play if you're meeting up with friends. It wasn't too busy either. My friends and I thought about coming here to study next time. I ordered the lychee black tea and added lychee/coconut jellies. It was very refreshing and I adjusted it to 70% sweet. read more

If you're looking for a place to come and sit with a friend, this is it. This place has plenty of seating and not much staff interaction. Champagne Black Tea with Panda Pearl: the tea was okay and the panda pearls were cute but not much flavor. Like I previously mentioned, you don't get much exposure with the staff. I ordered and had a question but the one woman who was working was too busy and didn't really notice me. read more

The place is really open with a good amount of seating, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. You order from one of the kiosks, which is super simple. Even though both my family and the group ahead of us ordered a lot, the drinks came out pretty fast, which I appreciated. The drinks were solid--definitely one of the better boba spots in Bakersfield. They've got a good variety too, so there's something for everyone. I'd just recommend going for less sweetness since their default is a little on the sweeter side. read more

Glad there is one closer to home. I've been meaning to come back for a lychee slush and Presotea makes one that is perfect. Inside of the store is inviting. Cute lighting fixtures, decorative walls, nice seating. The drink menu is clearly displayed and there are a couple of easy-to-use kiosks for ordering. It did take quite bit to make our orders even though there was only 1 person ahead of us. Nevertheless, the wait was worth it as the slushie drink was a palette cleanser and throat refresher on that hot, summer day. read more

I was CRAVING bubble tea (sans bubble because I actually don't love boba). I ordered the taro cloud with pudding. It was perfect! I love pudding in place of boba. Worth the try if you haven't ever. The taro cloud is slush form and super delicious! I like having a non-caffeine option every once in a while, so this is great. Others got the matcha cloud (also delicious) and some of the fruit teas. The guy working here was so friendly and just powering them out! He was the only one there and our order of 6 teas was a lot, but he did it with a smile. read more

I went with three others on a weekend afternoon. The interior was clean and welcoming. Our order was ready in a relatively short amount of time. I got the white peach oolong tea with mango popping boba - it was delicious with the right amount of sweetness! Overall, I had a great experience and will be back next time I'm in the area. read more

Prestotea offers a variety of teas as well as some coffees. I've tried various teas (milk teas, craft teas, and fruit teas) and they've all been great. You order your drink at the kiosk and can fully customize it, including the amount of ice, the level of sweetness, and the toppings). The staff is nice but they focus on making your drinks, not necessarily helping you place your order. There are a few tables to sit and the inside is pretty clean. read more

I ordered the strawberry milk tea and it was literally gross. I took one sip and went back to the store to ask if they could change the drink and the worker there said no. If they really cared about their customers they would do something. I should have gotten a drink from cafeinado instead which is right next door. Edit for the owner: Two things were wrong about my experience. 1. The drink tasted gross and artificial. I'm not sure what you guys put in the drink. There was a weird yogurt taste which I did not like at all. 2. Your employee did nothing about it. I thought Presotea would care about their employees. The employee could have done a number of things: remake the drink or let me order a different drink or give me a refund. I paid almost $8 for the drink because I added toppings and tipped. read more

Their original shop in town is off Allen. Glad they opened a closer location to home. This is by far the best boba shop in town. We've been trying many places in LA and none of them compare to this hidden gem. Goto drinks for me are their white peach milk tea and lychee milk tea. read more

Been here a few times now, I've been to the other location more even though this one is near my neighborhood. Now that I don't work from home, I'm bummed because this place is here. Presotea is probably my favorite boba spot in Bakersfield. I love some of the other places too, but this one is my favorite. I feel like their drinks tastes the best and you control how much diabetes you wanna take in haha. Service is good. They have a little kiosk to order if you're unsure what you want and you can see all the goods you can add in or substitute. The service is usually pretty quick and you can always ask the workers for help if you're not sure about something. Get the coffee jelly, I like the texture and the little coffee bits. If you're unsure what flavor to get, get taro.. I think it's always a hit no matter what boba spot you go to. Coffee drinkers! If you need a strong fix, then make sure to grab Vietnamese coffee. That coffee is so strong, you'll be on the go! Inside is nice and tidy, they have a few tables if you wanna enjoy your boba in-house, we usually take ours to go and they put them in bags if they're hard to carry all at once. Parking is limited, but people come and go, so give yourself time if you don't see parking and eventually you'll get one. read more

Had drinks delivered via doordash from this location to my workplace many time, all of my coworkers love their drinks

I absolutely love presotea. Probably my favorite boba place in Bakersfield! I was in the area and craving boba and I actually did not know there was another presotea location on Gosford. I was ready to drive to the Allen location lol. Anyways, I came at like 3:15pm and it was pretty empty! I love the open space! It looks bigger than the one on Allen, I think? There were two people waiting for their drinks so the workers were a bit occupied with making those which was no biggie for me! I went straight to the kiosks and ordered! I ordered the Taro Cloud with boba along with the Matcha Cloud. I absolutely love the matcha cloud and it's just perfect for the SUPER hot weather here in town. My parents shared the taro cloud and always enjoy it! Once they called my order, the worker kindly offered me a take-out bag because my hands were already kind of full. Service was very good and quick :-) read more

The decor in this place is very pretty! The light cool tones are very chic and clean! The drinks are also the same quality! I'm hoping that they continue to do well and keep going with more locations! Service was also great! Drinks came out quickly! It helps to order off the electronic menu for those that may need to! I got a strawberry milk at 50% sweetness and it was tasty! Tried something new and it wasn't bad. I still think their teas are some of the best, my favorite is the roasted oolong. Glad I got a chance to stop by the new location! read more

This place is pretty nice. It had a modern feel, it was clean and ordering was convenient . You have the option with ordering with a person or on a screen. I used the screen. I liked that I could see all of my possible options there. The customer service was good. The staff was friendly and efficient. I liked all the ways you were able to customize it. I especially liked that you could chose the amount of sugar they use because I often find that Thai tea is too sweet but I was able to make it just to my liking here read more

We got boba for the whole family they all loved it definitely recommend coming it was amazing

Walking in this place has a good vibe. You can order in person or thru their kiosk. I ordered a Mango Cloud, Brown Sugar Creme Brûlée and a O'Cookie Cloud. The flavors were amazing. Sweet, cold, and refreshing. Brown sugar sweetness and with just enough sugar. The tea was just strong enough, and the boba completed the whole thing and brought the flavors together. You are able to adjust the sugar and they have so many options for toppings and milk substitutes. read more

If you don't like human interaction at all, this is the place to go. You order your drink on a kiosk and pay, then just pick up your drink. It felt weird at first that they don't even greet you, but i don't find it weird anymore - it's sorta comfy now.lol. they have good selection of drinks - nothing super unique or out of this world, but haven't had bad drinks here yet. They tea is a bit on the sweeter side even if I get 50% sugar, so if you like your drinks to be subtly sweet like I do, 25% is the way to go. The ambience is cute and clean, so i would come back if I need to get some studying or work done. read more

This is a good place to get a cold drink on these hot summer triple digit days. You can order online to pick up or walk in and order and pay at kiosk or do it the old fashioned way. I'm hey accept credit/debit/cash. You customize your drink with toppings such as cream/jellies or boba and can add a "cloud to it" although in not sure exactly what it is. And you also pick the percentage of sugar you want in it. They prepare your drink quickly and it comes sealed. I ordered a blended mangoneada with chamoy with 30% sugar. It was still sweet and delicious and I must try more drinks and tea's. read more

I tried Vietnamese coffee. Placed an online order and drinks were ready real quick. When I walked inside they had a nice digital menu board featuring their top 10 drinks. Hidden in a nook of the gosford shopping center, a couple of things to note: 1. Service: self serve, but, contrary to what seems to be indicated on other reviews, you can still be assisted by staff. There is a full counter in the front where the drinks are given, but why would you want to talk to anyone? LOL. The self serve kiosk is easy to use, no human interaction required, perfect for introverts. Drinks come out fast, staff has been polite in all of my experiences. 2. Drinks: quality drinks, a wide variety with choices of sweetness, ice levels, boba types and many more options. Worth a try! read more

If you're going to Presotea make sure you come on a weekday that isn't busy. The area itself is always busy and there is very limited parking. But, besides the parking let's talk about how GOOD this place smells. As soon as you walk in you can smell cotton candy. I love love loved that about this place. If you're a coffeeholic like me order yourself a Vietnamese coffee! It has a bitter and sweet taste to it you won't regret it! It is a little confusing to order your drinks but the employees here are very helpful to guide you as you order. read more

The tea and Vietnamese coffee were fine, but we got there not too long after they opened and were told it would take at least 10 minutes to make the boba. Being that we were on a road trip and had a long drive, we opted out, but it was pretty disappointing to go to a boba place with no boba. I feel like that should be made before they open when it's the whole point of the place. read more
