Purple Sweet Potato Latte & Honeydew Milk Tea
    Kreng K.

This spot is located in a plaza with ample parking spots and an ADA parking and curb ramp close to the entrance. The interior was carefully and beautifully decorated. Love the details as well as how clean and organize it is. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. As far as the food, we've tried so many flavors of their mochi donuts and some were a hit and miss and some were really good! The quality does not change though. It's always fresh with a chewy but soft texture. We've had their mochi balls as well and those were phenomenal. For the drinks, one of my faves is their purple sweet potato latte. It has a hint of burnt or toasted sweet potato that makes this drink so delicious. I've tried their honeydew milk tea and it was okay. This spot is perfect for hangouts, studying, quick dates, etc. I highly recommend this place!

My son and I were out running errands and I saw this shop across the street. My son loves donuts so I thought, why not, let's check it out. I googled it real quick and saw the fun shapes of the donuts and thought it could be a fun experience. It was around 2:00pm on a Wednesday so there was literally no one there. Just the one kid working the counter and us. The music was poppy and fun and there was a TV showing the lyrics in English and Japanese. The seating areas are cute but dark. And the most you can have in your group would be 4 if you wanted to eat there. The donuts had a really good texture. Slightly chewy but fluffy. Flavor was really good. The funnel cake one really tasted like a funnel cake. The fruit ades were super sweet. Too sweet really, even my 10 year old said so. I won't get one of those again but there are other options I wouldn't mind trying. I wouldn't mind coming in earlier for a fresher batch of donuts. It's a cute little place. I recommend stopping by some time while you're out.

Came in for their one year anniversary and I can't believe it took a year for me to try this place! To celebrate, they handed everyone a free glazed mochinut for the day. I also got their Ube Cheesecake and the Matcha. Former was my favorite! The matcha is earthy is definitely for those who love matcha. If you're on the other side of the fence on that then I wouldn't try it but their RnD clearly decided to keep it true to the flavor. Also got a brown sugar boba and I have no complaints there!

5 stars! Mochinut totally impressed me! I had the matcha glazed, churro, and rice crispy treat mochinuts--each one was spot on. Chewy, crispy, and full of flavor. The matcha was earthy and clean, the churro was sweet and nostalgic, and the rice crispy treat one was a delicious, creative twist. I also tried the potato half & half hot dog--half cheese, half hot dog, fried with crispy potato chunks on the outside. It was crunchy, gooey, and super satisfying! The boba drinks were equally amazing--matcha, coffee, and my new favorite: brown sugar matcha. Each drink was perfectly balanced in sweetness, and the boba was soft and chewy. The space is adorable and cozy, with private-feeling sections and giant swirly chairs. And the staff? So friendly, helpful, and efficient. Can't wait to come back!

My kids were very excited to try the donuts, but unfortunately, we do not like them. I don't know if they were undercooked or that's how they're supposed to be , definitely will not be going back.

Yummy Mochidonuts! (* *マ Cute environment for a quick date and quiet enough for study session, especially since they have separate little pods.

Stopped in to try this place out my Granddaughter wanted a boba, We walked in no greeting nothing okay, walked up to the register area and had some questions I don't expect to be treated like royalty but it costs nothing to be kind. The guy wouldn't answer us just point at the menu behind him. I asked what kind of donut had the strawberry drizzle he pointed to the laminated picture on the glass, it was just a simple question we were the only ones in the building. I ordered a couple Korean dogs and it was like pulling teeth to get the employee there to answer any questions. I get it some people are not talkers...but this place being his family business you would think he would lose the attitude and be more personable. It's almost like he is being forced to be there. The Korean dogs didn't hold on to the stick and part of the coating was mushy. The donut was the funnel cake flavor and it was not for us maybe it sat a little too long it had a not so good taste to it. And I wanted to like it sooo bad!) I would have not ordered a thing if I was by myself but sometimes we grin and bear it for the kids. I personally will not go back there. I got nothing but attitude, bad food and it was super hot in there. The blueberry lemonade with pink sparkling boba was good though.

So this is just a quick review, just my opinion i was not impressed with the donuts everyone had been talking about. The inside seemed pretty clean. The young gentleman taking my order, really didn't seem like he wanted to be there...kinda like a whatever attitude . But as far as the donuts themselves, we took them to go. Now this is just me! I'm not a big fan of the texture of the donuts. Traditional donuts to me are soft, dry and tasty. These "To Me", were weird and chewy. Some of the flavors didn't taste like i thought they would. But I guess I'm a little old fashioned. The only donut that i thought was okay was the "Fruity Pebbles". I haven't tried the corn dogs yet, so I'll give an update later once i try them..but the texture of the donuts are just not for me! Also my bill for 6 donuts came out to $25 dollars. A little overpriced!

We went on the last day of the end of the week, so we didn't expect to see all the flavors but they did have them all which was great! I like the small cubicles they have so that people can sit with their own buddies and they have bathrooms! Second, the menu is nice and big so we can see everything and they even have combos, a drink and a donut for $11ish. A donut is about $4 with tax. They have a self service kiosk or you can have someone serve you. You just tell him which one and it's given to you. I do like the donuts, they're chewy and flavorful. I do wish however that there was some heating system or something to keep them warm, as they are just left out on a counter for everyone to see and left there with no lamp or anything over it.

Heard great things about this place; so had to try it while I was in the area. The seating is neat and gives off a very chill vibe. However,my first time here ; wasn't sure where to start; what all they offered or anything. Menu was hung kinda high and distant for me to read. As I was trying to read the donut flavors off the glass and look at the donut case; the worker just stared at me ; asking if I want to join the rewards. There was no welcome to the shoppe, explaining of anything; just basically how many donuts do you want and this is the total. Seemed like high school kids working here; and they could care less about the customer or experience or vibe they give off. Almost seemed like they couldn't wait to leave . The donuts were okay; kinda rubbery ... and didn't taste super fresh. Little expensive!

Came for the kids birthday. It is such a cute spot! Really colorful and eclectic. The workers were ok, let's just say their dispositions weren't as sunny as the interior. We decided to get the 3-for $10.99 and the girls got a milk tea and a Thai boba. My caramel latte one was good, not too sweet. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it was a super chewy donut, but I liked it. My kids said their strawberry funnel cake and matcha ones were delicious. Since this place has a rotating menu, we will probably be back to try some other flavors.

Really enjoyed mochinut. Arrived right after they had opened for the day, the young lady who helped us was friendly and helpful with figuring out what we wanted. The matcha and donut were both great. Will definitely be back.

    Thai Milk Tea
    Sydney M.

My husband and I really wanted to like this place, but overall, it just didn't hit the mark for us. We ordered the brown sugar milk tea with extra boba, Thai milk tea with no boba, and a funnel cake mochi donut. The brown sugar milk tea was actually pretty good -- the texture of the boba was nice and chewy, and the sweetness was just right. Unfortunately, the Thai tea was really disappointing. It didn't taste like Thai tea at all -- it was very orange colored, I thought it was going to be good but it lacked the creamy, spiced flavor you'd expect. The mochi donut itself was fine but had a little bit of a weird aftertaste. We didn't love the ordering process. The self-serve kiosk doesn't let you pick your donut flavor, so you have to go up and tell the worker, which defeats the purpose of the kiosk. A bit weird. The shop itself is cute, but it was noticeably warm inside -- not ideal when you're trying to enjoy a cold drink or a fresh pastry. Between the disappointing drink and awkward ordering experience, I probably wouldn't come back or recommend it.

The restaurant has an open kitchen concept, which we were actually excited about since you can see everything being prepared. Unfortunately, that's where things went wrong. We were seated right in front of the kitchen, and my wife began noticing some concerning food safety issues from one of the cooks. She observed him handling ready to eat, cooked food with his bare hands, including picking up avocado from her California omelette so another cook could add cheese underneath. Shortly after, she saw him rub his nose and continue working without washing his hands. The final straw was watching him grab a pinch of scrambled eggs from a plate on the hot line and eat it with his fingers. At that point, we were completely turned off. We had already placed our order, but there was no way we were going to eat after seeing that. My wife went to the counter and let the server know what she had witnessed, and we left. It's disappointing because the menu looked great and we were really looking forward to trying this place. I'm not sure how this behavior isn't being noticed or addressed by other staff, but based on what we saw, it didn't seem like a one-time thing. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews their cameras, and reinforces proper food safety standards.

Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.

My top favorites are the Sweet…read moreWaffles (they come with matcha whipped cream--definitely ask for extra!), the Mushroom Fettuccine Pasta, and the Smitten Burger. While Smitten is technically known as a coffee shop, I personally think their cocktails steal the show. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual date. Staff is friendly and attentive. As a bonus, they even have live music on select nights, which makes the experience even more enjoyable!
