So we haven't had donuts in years!! we are very into fitness and we don't eat sugar we thought we'd try some donuts for the first time in a very long time. I have to say that I think the main character in the shop are the Bavarian style maple bars. My bf loved them. I got a regular maple bar and it was so light and fluffy and perfect. I tried the apple fritter, but I didn't care for it very much. Felt heavy and dense. I tried the blueberry doughnut and it is very good. Light and fluffy and pretty much perfect. Been coming here since I was a little kid with my dad. Some of my best memories were made there before he passed away, about 5-6 years after he passed, I got diagnosed with Celiac Disease and sadly I can no longer enjoy the donuts, but I loved them while I could. Fiesta bite... it's so soft, chewy, and light. My son said it's the best he's ever had, "better than Krispy Kreme" As for, it was like biting into a fresh mochi donut that had a baby with a Fosters donut. I hate leaving reviews like this but damn this girl was so rude! I love coming here, this is my favorite donut place and now I feel some type of way about it. I simply asked if the glaze twist were fresh from today and she had to say THERE ALL FROM TODAY! . Like yes girl, a simple yes with a suffice. And she had a whole attitude like I told her what I wanted then she forced me to stop and then she said OK now you may continue like excuse you. This is our 1st time going eat donuts in Bakersfield area. We came around 9am on a Friday. They have a great selection which includes bacon doughnut yummy. I added that in my dozen it cost a little extra but it was worth it.
