Wow, best boba I think I've ever had. I got the dirty boba with 50% sweetness. Perfect amount of sweetness for me. Great smooth texture and the cheese foam is amazing, so unique. The boba itself was the prefect soft spongy texture. Almost $8 for a drink but in this case I think it's worth it. And I don't normally say that about coffee or tea drinks unless they are really really good. I ordered at the kiosk and had to wait a few minutes because of some big orders ahead of me. Bathrooms were Impeccably clean, like seriously impressive lol. I will be back! read more

I ordered a coffee milk tea today and added boba! I adjusted it to have 75% sweetness. I really needed some caffeine to wake me up. The service here is great as always and this time I decided to stay a while and get some homework done. The vibes are so nice here. This place is super popular, likely because they have consistently delicious tea. You can order at the kiosk or the front cashier. Service is fast and friendly. There are plenty of places to sit and hang out, and they have a clean bathroom for customers. The interior is also decorated nicely. Orders: Boba milk tea (25% sugar/less ice): a classic. I actually really enjoy the boba here. It has a v good consistency. Mango fantasy (25% sugar): a blended mango drink with sago. A delicious treat on hot day. Oolong milk tea (25% sugar, less ice, grass jelly): strong tea flavor. Super refreshing. Pairs well with the grass jelly. I don't like my drinks too sweet, so the 25% is perfect for me. It's a matcha day! Got to try Matcha Love (cake) and Matcha Cream. Both were good. The Matcha Love cake was soft, kind of like a pound cake with matcha cream and matcha pocky on top. It was mild on the matcha taste, not too sweet also. The Matcha Cream was good. It was mild on the matcha taste, no clumps of matcha (appreciated), and not too sweet even though it was 100% sweet! read more

I was craving boba and saw that this new spit popped up on my feed so I decided to take a little trip and it was totally worth my drive! Upon arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome, a sweet smile and relaxing music. The place is aesthetically pleasing. The menu has a variety of drinks and pastries. I ordered the dirty boba that is made with love with the following ingredients: brown sugar syrup, black tea, milk ( I opted for oat-milk ) boba pearls of-course and a creamy cheese foam which was absolutely exquisite! Cute new drink spot in town. The location is next to Ono Hawaiian bbq on Rosedale hwy in the Studio Movie Grill parking lot. The store was very clean and the staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. They have so many drink options that I'll be back to try... Dirty boba, mango breeze, purple reign... today I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and a tiramisu treasurer both highly recommended by the staff member who helped me. The Vietnamese coffee was perfectly sweetened, although I do like my coffee on the sweeter side. The tiramisu was a soft spongy cake with tiramisu milk foam, chocolate pearls and milk chocolate kisses. It was delicious but not overly sweet. The packaging was so cute! read more

Stopped by Feng Cha, a boba spot that offers tea, coffee, and pastries. My first impression was how clean and welcoming the space was -- and they have so many options! I really liked that you can choose your own sweetness level instead of the usual "one size fits all" sweetness most places have. They also had some interesting Japanese-style cakes I'd never seen before -- mildly sweet and really nice with the drinks. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely a spot I'd come back to try more from their menu. read more

Qick and delicious great start. Love when you can customize- 25% sweet! Heavy ice! Oat milk! Yep I can make my boba exactly how I want it. Went to Feng Cha today for the first time and it was very good! Ordered a Summer Melon and a Creme Brulee Dirty Boba and both were excellent. On the Summer Melon drink which was a cross between Watermelon, Lemon and tea, would have been better with less pulp but all around a great refresher! Can't wait to go back and try more drinks! read more

Loooove!! First time trying this place and I was going to get the Matcha Breeze but they said they were out if matcha that day so I ordered the Strawberry Breeze instead. It tasted DELICIOUS. So yummy. I loved the size of the drink as well as the price AND THE QUALITY of the cup was really good. I also loved how it's close to my house. I'm super excited for this new dessert/boba place. I got to try the dirty boba, strawberry princess cake, and taro breeze; and everything was phenomenal!! The cheese foam so creamy, taro tastes like taro and not sugar, and the cake is so fluffy! I cannot wait to come back and keep on trying new drinks and the tiramisu cake! This place is so fire. Their viet coffee 75% sweet is the best. Ive also tried their blended Taro which was also good. The boba here has a great taste & it's not chewy like other places. The service is good. Also, if they're packed, you're obviously going to be waiting a little bit. inside is kind of small, but that's all right. Their drinks make up for the tight space. Beyond a really tasty classic milk tea - my go to starter for any boba shop, a great range of choices and customizable options, including doing a crème brûlé flambé treatment of your dairy topping. Feng Cha has quickly become our family's go-to boba spot in Bakersfield. The drinks are consistently excellent and the menu has something for everyone. My personal favorites are the Matcha Latte (smooth and earthy), the Crème Brûlée Dirty Boba (love that caramelized top!), and the Thai Milk Tea which is rich and perfectly balanced. The boba pearls are always chewy and fresh, and the staff are friendly and accommodating with sweetness/ice adjustments. Delicious! We are visiting Bakersfield and looked up Boba shops near us. We luckily happened upon this gem and found out it just opened. My husband is very picky with his boba drinks. He got the Mango Breeze and added the large boba to it and was extremely happy with it. I got the standard Thai Milk Tea with Boba and it tasted like real Thai Tea in Thailand, definitely not the powdered stuff you'll find at Boba Time. My son got the Cookies and Cream and he adored his. The facility was super clean and nice looking. The staff were so kind and helpful with recommendations. They even recommended some restaurants to eat nearby. Whenever I'm back in Bakersfield I'll be stopping by and letting everyone I know who lives near here about this place. I wish they opened near where I live. I would be a weekly customer. read more

They were pretty busy so the drinks came out very slow, but they just opened, so my rating isn't based on speed. I'm purely judging based on quality of their drinks and the decisions being made when making drinks. We ordered 2 drinks - both blended. I was waiting quite a bit, so i was watching them make our drinks along with 20 other drinks before ours. My drink was finished first, and it sat on their counter for awhile.. then one of the employee finished making my hubby's drink, and while he was trying to put a seal on it, he discovered he didn't make enough to fill the whole cup. The employee walked over to the owner showing him the cup that was only 2/3 way full - to me, it was obvious it wasn't made right to be that off on volume. After receiving a direction from the owner, the employee went to the back of the store with the cup(probably just adding more powder or something), came out, added more ice, then reblended the whole thing again. This makes blended drink super foamy/fluffy and changes the whole drink, so I was cringing watching this. While this is going on, my drink was sitting on their countertop just melting....so yeah.. both of our drinks were less than mediocre tasting, and we were pretty disappointed. The owner should have told the employee to remake the drink - when it was obviously made wrong and he should have known reblending drinks that contains dairy powder will foam up and change the experience altogether. I rare give bad reviews, but i was pretty disappointed at the decisions they were making. Maybe if I'm in the area, I might try again just to be fair... but...i don't believe conscious decisions are not mistakes nor a fluke, so... not sure if my excitement will come back to want to go back. read more

It was so hot on the way back to SJ. We stopped by Feng Cha milktea shop in Bakersfield to take rest. We tried a lot of drinks from tea to coffee at this store, and they were all really good. I have a habit to check the restroom and conclude how the store care about the customer. Everything was clean and organized throughly. My kid wanted a strawberry yogurt instead, and the barista was so nice to accomodate his need. We will definitely stop by everytime we commute SJ-OC :) read more

We ordered a dirty Thai tea, a taro smoothie, and a cookie crunch smoothie- all with boba- plus a strawberry cake . Everything was really good and the person helping was very nice and let us taste the cheese foam bc we didn't know what it was. Cute and small inside- only drawback was it was too warm inside and had a weird odor. We didn't stay long bc of that. But if you want it to go, you're good. read more

What a cute spot! I went once during Feng Cha's soft opening and then on their grand opening yesterday. Both times I was warmly greeted by the staff. They were able to easily answer any questions I had about the menu which was wonderful. Of the four drinks we have ordered so far, our favorites have been the strawberry breeze and the creme brûlée dirty boba. Definitely recommend those both! So happy that Bako has a Feng Cha now. We stopped here on the way and also on the way back since it was so good. There's a great 3 for 2 deal which was perfect for our group of 3. The coffees and teas are delish and unique, as well as the smoothies and juices (I didn't try those but my kids loved them). We tried a variety of baked goods, the honeycomb bread is sooooo dang good! Filled with little pockets of cream cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped with toasted regular and black sesame seeds (I forgot to take a pic of this one, but I'll add it next time I go). We enjoyed all of the pastries we tried- not a crumb on our plates by the time we were finished! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the employees super nice and helpful. You can ask them for descriptions or ask for a menu to see details and ingredients. They're open late too, so I think my next visit will be a GNO or a date with my hubby.
