I think he was the owner of Presotea, walked over to me and stated "'maybe the drink is too strong for you and you like something sweeter." He insisted he'll make me a milk tea with boba, on the house. It was a sweet kind gesture. He doesn't know what happened at home. He doesn't know I'm exhausted and I'm sitting in his cafe trying to decompress from a really difficult day. He doesn't know I'm fighting really hard to hold back these tears of frustration. All he notices is that I really haven't drunk my coffee because maybe it is too strong. That tiny act of kindness hit differently because I feel like I'm suppose to notice everyone else's needs. Then a stranger noticed me. I didn't ask or complain or demand anything. He simply noticed.
