Just gave them a call to confirm hours and they said they aren't a store, they're a manufacturer.. Lol so glad I checked!

Definitely a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall, this place could easily be overlooked. It's not…read moreon the best side of town and you'll definitely run into some interesting folks. If you are craving great, authentic Thai food, give Bangkok Street Food a try. The restaurant is not big, maybe roughly 12 tables. Service is great and waitstaff check up on you periodically. Here's what we ordered, everything is served "family style" so plenty for sharing. 1. Drunken Noodle (Pad Kee Mao) $15.95? Spicy, stir-fried flat rice noodles with your choice of meat (we picked chicken and beef & pork are available for an additional fee) chili, garlic, basil, onion, bell pepper, carrot and tomato. You can pick your level of spicy and we went with spicy. 5/5 2. Crying Tiger $18.95, Thai style grilled beef. Served medium rare with spicy tamarind sauce. This was definitely my favorite. The meat was tender with a bit of fattiness, oh so good. 5/5 3. Thai Boat Noodle Soup $16.95, a savory herbal broth with pork rinds, beansprouts, Chinese broccoli, choice of noodles and choice of beef or pork, topped with fried garlic, green onion, and cilantro. The broth was a bit on the saltier side for me. But overall a great, savory soup. 4/5 I look forward to additional visits because there are so many more dishes that I want to try.

Been here a couple of times & this is the best Vietnamese coffee spot in Bakersfield for sure! Not…read moreonly is the coffee super strong, the foam is sooo good (cream cheesy, salty and sweet) & it's really affordable too. The drinks usually come out pretty quick & are consistent every time :). The only thing that's kinda weird is how warm it is inside! I also don't think you can study here bc there's no WiFi -- but it would be a nice place to come and catch up w friends! Also, they're currently doing a 2 for 1 sale! (4/26/26). I took a short hiatus for a bit because I had a bad experience with one of the baristas being a bit short / rude lol, but thank you to Brandon for being so bright / helpful after I asked so many questions! I was able to make a decision pretty quickly after he allowed me to try a small sample of the tiramisu foam top. If you're somebody who likes the drinks pretty sweet, I would recommend getting a higher level of sweetness bc again, the coffee is pretty strong / bitter (just how I like it, personally). I really love the banana Vietnamese coffee (wish it was a banana top; but the bananas are blended in and you can def taste the chunks -- which I like bc I hate artificial banana taste) & the tiramisu Vietnamese coffee is super good as well. I have yet to try any other drinks yet bc the coffee is just so good :)

We were surprised that the Aloe Vera drink had jelly (which I would have preferred without) so it just would have been nice to know prior to ordering. Other than that both drinks were good and the setting is really cute and clean!

Came here for the Halo-halo and it felt like it took forever as they were understaffed (only 2 employees) and helping out the people who were at the ramen station. The Halo-Halo was good but it wasn't the authentic filipino halo-halo I was expecting. Also tried their Sweet Ube Bun/Siopao and it was delish just like before. I'll probably give their ramen station a try next time. I've had their drinks before they rebranded and they were good. Definitely give this place a try!

This is the first and only drink I got so just wanted to leave a review on how to make a matcha better. 1. Why is there an up charge of $3 for a matcha when it's done very poorly? 2. Use more than 2g of matcha so that it feels like we're getting our money's worth. Maybe at least 4g to give a rich green color, especially for a large. It mostly tasted like sweetened milk with clumps of bitter 3. Using an electric handheld frother is very ineffective to mix matcha powder. Bamboo whisk is probably the best way, but even blending it like Starbucks does might go way better. I really have high hopes for this place so I hope to provide constructive criticism instead of bashing it down. The employees are very nice and helped me with great suggestions to improve the taste of my drink, so they deserve the recognition.

The matcha Dalonga is rich and creamy and very stable. It doesn't melt into your drink until stirred. They use a strawberry purée and fresh muddled strawberries for a sweet and tart flavor. Combination works well. I look forward to trying other drink options. On my first visit, I also ordered Bungeoppang "carp bread," is a highly popular Korean street food. It is a fish-shaped pastry with a crispy, waffle-like exterior filled with your choice of fillings. Texture is crispy but also a bit chewy (kinda like mochi). I ordered 3 (mozzarella, Nutella and custard) all three flavors were delicious. These are made to order and take about 15-20 minutes to make. Cafe Tori's menu has many options. The cafe was very clean, organized and spacious. The self-serve kiosk is their preferred method of ordering as there are only two people working. Both staff were very friendly but extremely busy. The owner was there both times that I went. This place is located in a strip mall so plenty of parking however, during peak lunch and dinner times, Maui Pho customers take the majority of the parking near Cafe Tori. Please support Cafe Tori, they are a small local business. My commitment to 2026, support my local businesses.
