First off the food was honestly just okay. Wasn't terrible, wasn't great. It was a basic salad but it didn't stand out for me. My mom got the chef salad and I tried a bit of her ranch and it was insanely tangy, and it took me off guard. She didn't mind it but she wasn't in love with it either. My dad really enjoyed his sandwich though and he would absolutely get it again. Personally I preferred the grocery store it was in over the restaurant. The ambiance was fine. It was cute and small. But again didn't impress me. The waitress was super sweet and she was the only one working and still took her time with us and always checked in for us. I would come for the grocery store and the bakery but not for the food. I will add I did get a keto cupcake from the fridge and that was amazing! That was a win for me so I am very happy with that! Overall, it was nice to try it but I probably wouldn't go again. And if I do go again it's for the grocery store and for the bakery items because the bakery was mouthwatering! read more

Wow, one of today's soup options is a seafood chowder and it's absolutely delicious! It's loaded with shrimp and clams and crab and has enough finally chopped vegetables to balance the whole thing. This is a really great bowl of soup and I would come over here to get that anytime I knew it was available. And they serve it with a little miniature delicious muffin which today is mango bread. They close at 4 PM so I'll just have to remember to come over for a late lunch. read more

We came here after visiting the poppy reserve and it was a perfect choice. There was no wait on a Saturday late afternoon. The restaurant is inside of the market. Bathrooms are in the market and super clean. The waitress was very nice. She took our order quickly and our food came out pretty fast. We ordered the portobello mushroom burger and arnie burger. Both were very tasty! Very fresh and filling. Our sides were the potato salad and macaroni salad. The potatoes was definitely the better choice. The "plastic" cups were made of corn and 100% compostable. We will be coming here anytime we are in town or around for the poppy season. Healthy and delicious choice. This is THE vegan spot to go to in Lancaster. It feels like your walking into Follow Your Heart, but better. Quite possibly the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. I wish I could give more stars. The restaurant is inside the Market (which has a vast amount of vegan items). It is self seating so when you walk in grab an open spot. You won't wait more than a minute for them to take your order. I just found out today that they have a special sandwich every week so take advantage. I had the "chicken" salad sandwich and a side of hummus and veggies. The serving size is huge so don't be stingey. The pike of fresh veggies consisted of carrots, broccoli, and cucumber. I have lived in the AV for 8 years and I just tried Whole Wheatery!! Here are the things I have tried from Natcheryls Café. - Lemonade - DELISH! So yummy and refreshing. Although I do feel $4.99 is a little pricey for a 16oz. -Caprese Panini - So yummy - the red pepper spread is delicious and the mozzarella is gooey and tastes really fresh. - Pasta Salad - Eh - it is ok. Seems like it needs some salt and pepper. But is a good choice for those that are GF. -Chips and Salsa - tastes like Pace salsa - not impressed. The chips were good and hearty though. - Egg Salad Sandwich - no flavor, bread was dry and I HATED the sprouts. - Carrot Cake Cup - SO GOOD! Get it, you wont regret it. All in all, it is awesome that vegans, vegetarians, GF, etc. have this awesome store and restaurant. We don't have many vegan restaurant options in the AV so my husband and I are here a lot. Luckily, the food is great and the service is always wonderful. While it's not totally vegan, you can order almost anything on the menu and ask them to make it vegan. They also have gluten free options. We have eaten here many times since we used to live nearby. Food is wonderful and healthy. You just can't find healthy food like this anymore unless you cook at home. That's why I love home cooking so much. The servers are so kind and helpful. You must try their smoothies. It's worth it to drive from Torrance all the way to eat this food. Very good food in a lovely clean restaurant. My main issue here has nothing to do with food. There is no signage on the outside that indicates the cafe is here. We were from out of town and driving by and ended up deciding we would just have to check out the Whole Wheatery as that was where our nav system took us and we were hungry. ....and there it was! Inside the store! I had a soyrizo taco special with hummus and bread chips on the side. Really tasty. So nice to have vegan options when traveling. Ordered 2 sandwiches to go for my sis and I and, unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I ordered the Caprese Panini which is mozzarella, basil, tomatoes and red bell pepper "pesto" on "grilled" sourdough bread. The pesto seemed more like a saucy spread and the bread was more like a light toast than grilled. The mozzarella wasn't melted, the sandwich was cold. On a positive note, the red potato salad was good and the people were nice. My sister had the Arnie burger which is baked but it was mushy. Definitely one of the worst she's had. This is the best place to eat healthy in the Antelope Valley. The soups are the best and they have several Vegan options on the menu.

I just had the most amazing business lunch at this cafe. I ordered the avocado jack cheese sandwich with a cup of the creamy tomato soup and I have been blown away. The service was excellent, very attentive and quick to please. The food though is what really sealed this place for me as the go to place. The sandwich was amazing. The bread was moist and flavorful and it complemented the creamy tomato soup very well. For dessert I ordered their famous carrot cake and I have to say Wow! We've always loved coming to Natcheryl's. We came once during the pandemic and we were seated comfortably in their socially distanced place. I'm not sure if her name was Ashley but she was always the server whenever we dine here. She is always gracious, accommodating and kind. Yesterday, 11/1/2020, my husband,dad and myself came in but I called and asked first if there would be tables available.The lady who answered said that they have 2 tables outside.My husband was so shocked to see the outside of Whole Wheatery/Natcheryl's.It was filthy with 2 full trash cans,swarmed with flies.He went in and talked to Sarah.We ordered food to go and left.It would have been okay if Sarah were nice.I don't think we've seen her before but she was very unfriendly,not smiling at all and the tone of her voice just made us feel very unwelcome.We've been trying to help businesses like Whole Wheatery by coming in every so often since the pandemic but people like Sarah made us change our minds plus we seriously think that Natcheryl's should not offer outdoor dining, at all. read more

A great place to eat, casseroles are extremely good, they have limited hours and don't officially serve breakfast but you can get yogurt with granola or a yummy quiche, the coffee is also very good. Food here reminds me of home made and they have a great juice bar too. read more

Cute healthy cafe! It's located inside the Whole Wheatery shop, which is a health food store similar to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Sprouts, but is family owned I believe. The cafe is very homely feeling, and the food is tasty and healthy. Good for vegetarians and vegans alike! They use most of what they sell in store which is pretty neat. Food was great! Service was the worst! It's very frustrating to go somewhere you like but the service sucks so it overall ruins the experience. First, when we walked in nobody greeted us. Took the waitress 5-10 minutes to come take our order along with the drink order. We never got our drinks until the food came which took long because the order was messed up. By the time we finished our food we had to waive down the server to get our check since she clearly wasn't coming back to check up on us or anything.
