One of my Top Favorite Food Spots in the AV. Great Service. Great Ambiance. Compliments to Edith & The Tall Gentleman.

The salchipapa made the trip worth. The salsa rosada that comes with it definitely enhances the plate. The empanadas did not have a good flavor, and for a $5/each it feels overpriced. These are the most expensive empanadas I've had and disappointed. Service was ok, could be better attitude, maybe because it was just one person running the floor.

SVCS fee. This was not disclosed prior to dining. It is my understanding this practice is very illegal.

Did not disclose mandatory tip before dining here. We split the bill two ways and they still charged an extra 18 percent on both bills. Food was over salted and overpriced too. Might as well have drove to LA to spend the same amount of money for a lot better quality food. We will not be dining here again due to the mandatory tips and the low quality food for expensive price. The receipt we signed at the end still had the audacity to ask for even more tips. They did not deserve more tips due to this terrible tipping practice. Message to restaurant: PROPERLY PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES. I am not responsible for their paychecks. Tips should not be the majority of their wages, the owner of this establishment must pay their employees more and end the hidden mandatory tips!!

All the meats are over cooked like hockey puck

Nichole was our server, very pleasant young lady, attentive, non- hurried demeanor and always have a smile when checking on all of us. Inspite of the restaurant getting crowded and busy , Nichole makes sure our needs was attended. She carried herself and finesse and grace. Ample parking around the area. Restaurant was clean and very clean in appearance, Restroom was clean as well with all necessities was on site. We celebrated a birthday for a colleague hence the day was greatly appreciated from food, services and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Keep up the great work and hospitality from staff and management as it showed. Thank you, Emma

Went here for Mother's Day, and although it was very crowded due to the day, the experience was…read moregreat overall. I've been to Fogo many times, and this was the first time checking out Texas de Brazil, and I have to say, I think I like Texas De Brazil better! The meat service at the start of the dinner was admittedly slow for what looked like the entire restaurant, there was a solid 10-min where no meat was coming except for a chicken sausage. I think that is because they were cooking the meats, because soon after, a bunch of meat started coming out of the kitchen all at once. The quality of the meat was great! The salad bar I think is better than Fogo: I felt the veggies and salads tasted fresher and the area around the salad bar was cleaner. The cheese bread and plantains were amazing as well, much better than Fogo for sure. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and if I am craving Brazilian BBQ again, I'll head over here.

We drove up from San Diego for a friend's 50th birthday party. Her husband created the event and…read morehad been in contact with the manager to ensure it was fantastic. Unfortunately, they didn't even try. We were placed on the outdoor patio; there were 18 of us. First issue, they didn't set the tables for the correct number of people. Second issue, we had to beg and plead to have the gauchos serve us. They would come to the door, say who would like XXX, and if someone didn't immediately raise their hand, they would go back inside. Even if one of us raised our hand, they would not go around the entire table asking people if they would like to be served that meat. Third issue, my husband and I were served undercooked pork. They removed them from our plates immediately, and we never saw pork again. Fourth issue, if we requested a specific item, we would have to ask several times until someone served us our food. Fifth issue, they never brought out the accompanying items that are automatically served on the table, ie, cheese bread, mashed potatoes, bananas, etc. We would have to wait until our server came out to the patio and then request the items. They would NOT ask if anyone else at the table would care for anything. Sixth issue, they acted as if we were in drought conditions, asking for water was torture. We finally got up and brought over our own pitchers to the table. The seventh issue was that the busboys kept trying to take our plates away. Several times, one of us would have to grab our plate back. EIGHTH issue, when it was time for the cake, they brought us a steak knife to cut the cake, NO serving utensil, and saucers from coffee cups as our dessert plates. I asked for larger plates, and they brought us 11 HOT dinner plates. Just a reminder, there were 18 of us seated. You do the math; they certainly couldn't. I love Brazilian steakhouses, this one is almost the worst one I have been to, it comes in at a very close second. I would never return to this location. I felt sorry for the birthday girl. She was given ZERO love; they didn't even know who the birthday girl was. HORRIBLE representation for the Texas de Brazil franchise.

So when it…read morecame time to celebrate an occasion with my elderly Mom, I chose the FdC near us in Woodland Hills, CA. This was truly a remarkable experience, but not in a good way. We were seated on the "patio" which is literally a foot from the public sidewalk of Topanga Canyon Blvd with only a half-wall to separate us. The patio smelled like cat and human urine; understandable with the public sidewalk so close (one could easily step over the little gates on the "wall" between the patio and public sidewalk.) The "Marketplace" salad bar was just okay. Fruit, potato salad, and a few other non-remarkable sides. Honestly, the buffet at Sizzler has more selections. Sad for the "Brazilian Churrasco Experience." The traveling carvers were prompt to bring by a few of the carved meats. Those were okay. Each time a side came we thought it would be better, but not. The food quality is just not worth the substantial price-tag. I had a small soda, at a hefty price of $5.35. I asked later for a soda refill, and didn't know until we received the bill that I was charged $5.35 for EACH REFILL. Seriously? For a fountain soda? The bill for the two of us at Brunch came to $235. Honestly, a burger and fries at Red Robin would have been a better meal. At least they don't seem to allow people to urinate on their restaurant patio. Beyond disappointing is an understatement. My elderly Mom was with me and she enjoyed the company but left a lot of food behind. Definitely not worth the FdC price. We won't be returning. It's too bad that one of the "newer" FdC did not take the same classic foods and service as the Beverly Hills location. Eater beware.
