Mashed potatoes, French fries, plantains, and bread

So we came here on a evening outing since we hadn't tried it yet. Now I will say this, the style of people coming here ranges wildly from business casual to shorts and t-shirts which I thought was funny. We couldn't tell if this was supposed to be a classy upscale or low key family joint. The "Open Table" reservation system, table settings, full bar, and lighting scream moderately upscale but the salad bar/buffet style says bring your kids. The salad bar itself was fairly cramped space wise trying to maneuver around other people plus if you're tall, like me, you're going to be running your head into the hanging plants directly over the salad bar which is weird. The salad bar was decently stocked with options from salads to quinoa and green beans. The hot options ranged from jasmine rice, potatoes au gratin, and lobster bisque. For the main pieces, servers walked around with meats on a skewer serving them as requested. These included chickens, lamb, and beef various ways. Now overall, the food had good flavor and was cooked well. The price for the meal, $62 per person, wasn't too outrageous given all you get, considering they just keep coming with meat until you flip your table card to red. Be warned, if you come at peak times, be prepared for it to be crowded.

First time coming here and absolutely amazing in everything Food was an endless supply of delicious meats, the service was fast, and the overall experience and vibes were great. They offer a huge selection of drinks too so you get the best of both worlds 100% will be coming back

MEATS! great place for carnivores! $65 Brazilian BBQ where gauchos go around with giant skewers or swords with different meats. They slice the meats in front of you and you grab the slice with tongs or in some cases, the pieces are put on your plates. Meats range from beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp and pork all served different ways. I was there for the picanha and only picanha! My favorite cut! There's also a salad bar, but has more than salads. They have soups, rice, beans, grilled pineapple, etc. don't forget the chimichurri and roasted garlic to compliment your meats! Server brings mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread, fries and cinnamon plantains to the table. These are unlimited as well. Just don't fill up on these, but the bread is incredible! Soft mochi texture with cheese melted within. Service is great! Server was very attentive and friendly!! Plenty of parking. Made reservations on their website. So easy!

The food is good. The Service can definitely use some help and what I mean by that is not the people that serve the meats however the waiter. I have no idea why they even get a tip. He didn't do anything and trying to get a refill on my water took forever. The food is good, but self serve so again why even include gratuity especially if it's going to go to the waiter?

Where's the cake?

Service was great but all things aside if you're celebrating any occasion I'd go elsewhere. We made a reservation for 5 at 5 PM. We checked in and let them know we were celebrating a birthday. The salad area was clean with a wide selection. Meats on the other hand were very chewy almost rubber like or very salty. The only cut we really enjoyed was the skirt steak. When we were done. A server brought out a plate that said Happy Birthday with candle- nothing else. Would have actually preferred they not hadn't brought it out. Furthermore, beware that you can't use a military discount if you use a gift card. For having spent $300+ on a mediocre birthday dinner - huge disappointment.

Our go-to Brazilian steakhouse! This is hands down one of our favorite Brazilian spots, and honestly... we definitely prefer it over Fogo de Chão. There's plenty of parking, and we came back for the third year in a row for our Valentine's dinner -- it's basically a tradition at this point. Pro tip: book at least 3 weeks ahead, and if you want to save yourself from the Valentine's chaos, go the day before or after. The crowd wasn't too wild tonight, but the restaurant was still PACKED (because everyone knows it's good). The ambience is always a win -- super open, lively, and the whole place just feels fun and inviting with so much food everywhere you look. Now, first-timers... listen closely: do NOT let the fries, mashed potatoes, cheese bread, and other "fillers" trick you. They are delicious, but they will absolutely take you out before the main event. Pace yourself!! They brought around 6-7 different cuts of meat, including picanha, filet steak, chicken parmesan, BBQ drumsticks, sausage, and more. Everything was flavorful and juicy, but we honestly got full way too fast thanks to the salad bar. And that salad bar? So many options -- fresh salads, sides, little goodies... it's dangerously easy to overdo it. We went to the Rancho location, which is cheaper than Irvine, and I actually prefer this one more. Dinner was about $62 per person, which is a great deal for the quality and endless meat parade. If you're craving steak + a loaded salad bar in a clean, welcoming spot, this is an absolute must-try. Shoutout to Juan for the awesome service tonight -- thank you for making our dinner extra special! We'll definitely be back (again and again).

My family has eaten at several Texas de Brazil locations, but the RC location was one we haven't been to yet. I made and received a confirmed reservation via my OpenTable app for a 1730 time slot on a Saturday night. I also responded affirmatively that we were celebrating an event. I allowed plenty of time to arrive here, yet the traffic in and around this restaurant is an absolute cluster, especially on Foothill Blvd: one might consider entering this shopping center parking lot from a different direction using other surface streets. Parking anywhere near this restaurant adds yet another several minutes of finding a parking space, even when you distance yourself farther away. Once parked, the wait to check in was short. I was greeted by a friendly hostess who confirmed my reservation and party size and again asked if we were here for a celebratory event. I replied affirmatively and told her we were celebrating our youngest son's graduation from a nearby Technical school. Our reservation name was soon called, and we were escorted to our table. The first observation I made was how cramped this restaurant felt as we walked between already occupied diners sitting at their tables. The tables are so close to each other that a gentleman kept shoving his chair into our table every time he got up from his table; his wife finally caught on by my wife's evil look at her and grabbed his chair to prevent this. After we were seated, a very personable and efficient young gentleman introduced himself to our table as "Curtis". He asked the standard questions regarding our dining experience(s) at Texas de Brazil and took our drink orders. Once that was done, he let us loose to check out the buffet area. I understand that 1730 is in the realm of the prime dinner hour. However, I was not expecting what was presented to us and fellow diners at this location. 1. It seems that because this Texas de Brazil is scaled down in size overall, the buffet area is much smaller than other locations we've eaten at. 2. The smallness of the buffet creates a swarm of hungry folks dodging in and around the buffet offerings, because it seems the staff was not keeping up to ensure there was not any offering completely missing (like the Prosciutto). Folks kept cutting in front of me as soon as they brought out a fresh plate. 3. The hot offerings when we looked were all empty or left with sadly only a couple of servings left. I mean, how do you not have enough plain rice, rice and beans, and all the other hot offerings staged in the kitchen area area ready to deploy on the depleted buffet line during the busy dinner hour rush????? As always, the parade of meats arrived from the kitchen to be offered to our table. As always, the meats we chose were absolutely delicious, juicy, and seasoned properly. I did notice there is a subtle way they get you to finish dinner: the meat parade slows down. In fact, I was observing the entire room of diners: they started asking us what meat or meats you would like more of, specifically sent from the kitchen. Throughout our dining experience at this Texas de Brazil, our server, Curtis made it a truly enjoyable celebratory dinner for us. He was there on cue to bring more bottled water, refilling our goblets as needed, making sure what meat selections we liked were bought out again, and suggested a meat (Spicy Sirloin) to try whiuch our son and I really liked. It has a nice heat element to it, so be aware. The one negative that occurred here was that both my wife and I, a couple of hours after eating, suffered minor G.I issues. It took several minutes to compare what we all ate, but the only common item that both of us ate, and our son didn't, was the whipped goat cheese spread. While we really enjoyed our dinner at this location, this restaurant's physical size, closeness of the dining tables, and inability to keep the buffet food items adequately stocked during the dinner hour rush are shortcomings that will probably be the deciding factor to drive further to the Irvine location for future Texas de Brazil meals.

Texas de Brazil has always been my favorite Brazilian Steakhouse, ive been to their other locations and always left happy, it was my first time here and we were a party of 4 with reservations on a busy Saturday night, we got seated right away our server took our drinks order and we headed straight to the salad bar, everything was fresh and delicious and we couldnt wait for the meats, 20 mins later the first meat arrived, another 15 for the second and another 15 for the 3rd, then stopped then another 15-20 for the 4th which was the first type of meat that was served then stop again, the rest of the different type of meats didn't arrive till an hour later and we heard the tables all around us complaining as well to the server and he did say that the kitchen was backed up, I know its not the servers fault but come on, the rest of the meat came out after an hour and 20 mins at that time we were full asked for the check, we were not happy. Maybe it was just a bad night, but I will definitely give this location another chance.

There are plenty of parking spaces. I didn't know they have reservation option, but the wait was not bad about 10 mins. Even though it's weekday, it could get packed. Reservation might be a good idea if planning to go eat after 6pm. The inside of this Brazilian steak-house is very nice. Service was good, attentive, and informative of all types of meats and desserts. The food was delicious, all-you-can-eat grilled meat carved tableside & a salad bar. Overall, I had a wonderful experience for the first timer. Get to experience different kinds of different cuts of the meats for $61.99. First time eating here. Arrived here Tuesday 40 min after the dinner shift started. Plenty of parking outside. Best to make reservations we waited 10-15min after arriving with no reservations, but as we started eating more people arrived and waited to be seated. Top meat selections not in any order: Picanha, Sausage, Spicy Sirloin, and Filet Mignon. The meat started to tasted saltier as the night went on with the seasoning meats. As we were seated near the kitchen door we were visited by the meat servers multiple times. Plenty of lighting and stylish tables. Our server Jeff S checked in on us multiple times and asked us if we were wait on any select meats.

Our server's name is Neroli is our server and the service is excellent! The Choices of meats are exquisite. This is my first visit here and I rather surprised. The choice of salads and vegetables are more than pleasing. The restaurant is very clean and neat and the ambience is excellent. My only complaint is some of the flowers/plants that are hanging over the salads Will hit you in the head. The cheese bread was a little hard and it could've been softer, but other than that everything else is good. Except for one more thing, I don't remember what cut of meat it was, but it was a little bit tough that was the only disappointment. Other than that it was really good thank you for good service.

I've been to a lot of Brazilian bbq places. Usually the food is good. The service past the people walking around with the meats is usually non existent. This day was different. Our server, Curtis, went above and beyond. He made us feel like family visiting his home. He was funny and on top of everything. He made the evening special. If you go there ask for him. You will not be disappointed.

Love this place. We went twice this week! Great flavor on the food, salad bar is incredible. Service is always impeccable and the ambiance is welcoming and very clean. It's a high end restaurant without the high end pricing. Easy parking and tasty desserts. My favorites are the papaya cream and passion fruit mousse. The guarana they serve has less sugar and it's a healthier choice than the traditional soda. You can also order a rack of lamb a la carte. Good job management for the high level of service. Thank you for the extra attention Christina and managers James and Marcelo. ** tip for foodies, ask for condensed milk on the caramelized plantains

What's the policy on strollers?

I'm not sure about strollers but the tables are close to each other and it was difficult for a person of large/wide stature to maneuver between the tables.

I think it’s around $30-$35 per person. Great salad bar.

Do they have an à la carte menu for my elderly mother she doesn't eat much?

No, if we are talking dinner, one price for adults! 50% off for kiddos. Salad bar can be purchased but no main courses table side servings.

They take walk ins but I would make a reservation unless you don't mind waiting a long time.

What is the dress code?

While we recommend smart/business casual, we do not enforce a dress code as long as clothing is reasonable and does not depict anything that might be offensive to other guests.

I did not see a sign posted near or by the entrance. If they have a bad rating it must be posted we're customers can see. You can see through to the part of the coming area at the restaurant.

Do they accept the Texas de Brazil gift cards that are sold at Costco? Are there restrictions on using these gift cards?

They do accept them but you can't use any other coupon or discount. Apparently the cards from Costco have a specific code that lets them know.

I had the BIEST PESTO and it was super flavorful. The ricotta drizzled with the spicy sauce was amazing. The broccolini was probably my favorite part. Also, we were planning on going to Monaco's, but forgot it's Thursday...big deals on big pizza on Thursdays at Monaco's means big crowds. But it set our tastebuds into overdrive for savory Italian food. We should have guessed when we drove up and got a parking spot in front of an empty restaurant at 6 pm that it was going to be subpar, but we forged ahead anyway. We were greeting by a young man who kept referring to us, the two middle-aged women, as "you guys." Then asked if we had reservations...to an otherwise empty restaurant. The place was well decorated and light, though it was drafty and cold. And loud. Very loud for no one being there. The music, though a good playlist, was way too loud for such an echo chamber with nothing but hard surfaces to bounce off of. We weren't quite sure who our server was, but the young lady that took our order again referred to the two middle-aged women as "you guys." Ugh. Decent focaccia bread with dip arrived. It was OK, but cold. The food arrived in a decent timeframe, but the undercooked, starchy spaghetti was not quite warm enough. After asking three times for silverware, we finally got utensils, adding to the cooler temp of the food. So now that primary reason for a so-so review: The food was just OK. Not only was it not warm enough, but it was bland and lacked any presentation. Chicken Marsala had onions but no garlic, so it lacked depth. The Pomodoro was served with their standard marinara sauce, not pomodoro at all. Pomodoro should be a light and bright sauce with chunks of chrushed tomato, not bland marinara sauce that you would serve a seven year-old. The orchiete pasta were also undercooked...not quite al dente, not quite cooked. Lastly, there was some sort of photographer there. Part of the reason our food was cold is because he had to take multiple photos or our food from multiple angles. I could see the steam rising from it when it was being photographed, but the heat was dissipated by the time it arrived on our table. Without silverware. Then I noticed the photographer taking short videos while we were eating and we were part of the background. I prefer not to be photographed, especially by strangers. So this felt intrusive. Biest has potential, but it has a long way to go. Three things could help: 1. Train the staff not to refer to guests as "you guys." 2. Work on the preparation and presentation of the food. 3. Decrease the volume of the music. All it does is make people have to talk louder which adds to the cacophony. Oh, and don't make it look like you're photographing guests without their consent

You don't feel overstuffed and you don't feel like someone robbed you for your wallet. Drinks are on point! The only gripe I have about this restaurant, is the old fashioned!!! They need to get a better cocktail glass for that drink and stop serving it with a bunch of ice. Just get the sphere or cube ice. Please! The staff are always friendly and accommodating!!! From the hosts, bartenders, and waiters/waitresses, they all do a great job at making you feel welcome! Big shoutout to Jasmine, Ashley, and Ron!!! They're great people who go above and beyond to make your visit better than the last. Come try em out for yourself!

Adding this review a bit late, but the state in rancho has great food with an amazing atmosphere…read more It's in Victoria Gardens so the overall vibes, cleanliness, and quality of everything is welcoming and safe. Their old fashions and high balls are fantastic. And our server Jackie was AWESOMMMMMM. The complete positive vibes really brought great energy to our table and just made the experience great. Will definitely be back in the future. TY!

We try to frequent this gem of a steakhouse at least 3-4 times a month. The food and service are…read moretop-notch. The super Stockyard is our favorite with mushrooms. The salad dressings are homemade and the plates are chilled, a rarity in 90% of places. It's always good, everything, from the supreme service to the food. What upsets me are the ridiculous comments people make about this wonderful institution. From the prices to the low quality comments. This place is generally 3/4 full every time we come. Are you people who are complaining blind? The steaks are cooked perfectly every single time, I can't say that about all the other steak places. You don't stay in business for 50 plus years selling terrible food and bad service. People, Please read past all the picky comments which in my experience are people without any taste in more ways than one. I'm grateful to have this place and I drive an hour to get here and an hour back. Yeah it's got old school charm but a slick modern look like the rest has a higher price tag, like a $55 steak and upwards. Like I said, this place is a gem, we are lucky to have them. Get your steak done right. Just go and be grateful

I'm sorry to post this...but you guys lost your touch straight up BIG TIME …read more.. We went Saturday for dinner .... EVERY SINGLE UTENSIL ON OUR TABLE WAS DIRTY ... like really..?... I'm not taking water spots...I'm talking pieces of food chunks.... OUR PLATES HAD DRIED KETCHUP TOO... Our steaks had ZERO flavor .... 100% bland... Nothing like the amazing steaks you guys made.... WHOEVER cooked your steaks in the past....BRING THEM BACK! The baked potatoes looked frozen / reheated..... I'd strongly recommend a 100% total TOP TO BOTTOM cleaning of that restaurant ... everything just looked grimy and dusty... lastly we had an incredible amount of gnats and PINCHER BUGS in our table....the dinner was sadly...I won't be back.....you lost a 30 year customer....
