    Lobster and shrimp tacos
    Melinda M.

This place is normally way out of our price range, but we found out about the bar menu with all-day happy hour food. Amazing prices! You can still sit at a regular table and ask for the bar menu. The $10 burger was delicious, and an amazing value for the price! We also got the lobster and shrimp tacos, which were okay, but mainly felt like we were eating a fancy and spicy cabbage salad. The 8oz filet mignon board for $17.50 was also very good. With 3 dishes total for the 2 of us, we came out of there spending $50 total, compared to other people spending $70+ each for the buffet. Would highly suggest! Also sign up for their rewards program to get discounts on future visits.

We finally tried the picanha burger for their happy hour. Happy hour menu is only when you sit at the bar and you can't order while on the dinning tables. Happy hour at Fogo is apparently all day long. There's many choices in the menu from appetizers or shareable sides size options. The filet mignon chimichurri plate was $17 while our picanha burger with fries was $10.99. What a value of a meal!! Amazing flavor with the meat, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and a brioche bun. It's a huge portion on the size of the burger. Couldn't even finish the filet plate. Bartender was very helpful, quick and courteous. Not sure if you can sit minors at the bar, so it may not be kid friendly, but I'm not 100%. And of course the restaurant dining area and restrooms are very clean and parking is easy.

I've been to this Fogo location twice this summer and have enjoyed it both times. We get the full churrasco and it's amazing! The market bar has tons of different options-fruits, charcuterie, pasta salads, etc. The waiters come around constantly with different meats, as well as Brazilian cheese with honey, and cinnamon pineapple. That pineapple is epic!! It's on the long skewer and they carve a piece off; it's hot, sweet, and cinnamony. It's like eating dessert! One star off bc on our 2nd visit our waitress started off so friendly and kind, but after bringing us our drinks we didn't see her again. We eventually had to flag down another waiter to get the check, even though we saw our waitress stopping at other tables. I'm not sure what happened and I tried to get her attention a couple times, but it's like she forgot about us. However, the other waiter who wound up closing us out was awesome and quick.

We've been here several times and always enjoy it. We usually go with the Indulgent Churrasco Experience, and everything is consistently delicious. I also never skip the Market Table and the Mango Habanero Caipirinha is my favorite drink. This location is always busy, which speaks to its popularity but it can feel a bit crowded since the tables are fairly close together and there's not much room to move around. Overall, it's one of our favorite Fogo locations, and the convenience of being so close to Victoria Gardens makes it an easy choice.

If you're a local, they took over the old Johnny Carinos on the north west corner of Foothill & Day Creek. They are located in the same shopping center as Chick-Fil-A, REI and Ulta. There's plenty of parking available, but you might have to park a few lanes from the restaurant depending on how busy it is, but it's not a far walk at all. Made a reservation for my birthday dinner 6 days before, on the Open Table app. At that time, all the evening time slots were available and I thought it would be funny to select a reservation time of 6:45 pm instead of 7 pm. My reservation was for a Saturday and when we arrived, the place was PACKED! My sister arrived a few minutes before we did and checked us in and the waiting area was full. We waited about 15 minutes until we were seated, and during that time I heard someone ask how long the wait is for walk-ins and the hostess said 1 hour 45 minutes and I believed it. I encourage everyone to make a reservation ahead of time because I didn't think it would be busy, especially since Texas de Brazil is literally the same concept and across the street, but it was busy. We were seated on the south east corner of the restaurant which is all window seating and pretty nice. It has a scenic view of Foothill Blvd. (not super glamorous, but it's nice). Our server was Chris and I'm elated to report he was super attentive and took care of any requests, right away. Only one person in our party had never been to Fogo de Chao before and he was kind enough to explain how it works there. We've been to many other Fogo locations before and this was our first time visiting the Rancho location. We all agreed this was a great experience and on par with all of the other locations we've visited in the past. All of the gauchos were really nice, but our favorite one was the sirloin guy. The Pichana/sirloin guacho. He ran out of meat and was only able to give the last piece to one of us and said he would be back. We were worried he'd forget about our table, but he came right back with a new sword of sirloin, the best one we had all night. We asked for 2 pieces each it was that good and that gaucho kept saying it was the best one! We gave our server Chris, a few party favors (chocolate chip cookies) and he was nice enough to give us a free dessert on top of the birthday one I got. Chris was on top of all of our drink orders and refills throughout the night as well as our appetizer orders (we ordered lobster Mac and cheese as well), he cleared our table out quickly and brushed off any crumbs left behind before dessert. For dessert, we each ordered dessert (4 total) and the staff came out with like each one that said happy birthday on the plate and lit a candle for us. It was honestly a simple gesture but made our night. It was my birthday, but they involved all of us in the festivities and I got to blow out a bunch of candles. I had the Crème brûlée and enjoyed it, my sister had the papaya cream and she said it was good and tasted like papaya ice cream, my other sister had the lava cake and I thought it was ok, and my other sister had the Crème brûlée cheesecake and that was the favorite dessert of choice by the entire table. Highly recommend if you're celebrating a special occasion or want to take a date to a nice dinner that will satisfy both people. There is a bit of a dress code, we all wore dresses and a lot of the people dining in were wearing dress clothes, but there were a few people dressed in jeans or cargos and that passed for the most part. One guy showed up in fitted gym shorts and a polo and I definitely gave a look, cause one, tacky and it was not the vibe of the place at all. There were kids there as well and people with strollers so that's normal, but the kids that were there definitely did not make a scene and were well behaved. If you have wild kids, I would not bring them here because there's swords with like the hottest meat on them and if the kids were to run around and accidentally bump into one of the gauchos I'd hate for them to get any part of that. I'm not being extra, it's literally like a back of the mind thing to think about.

Fogo de N-O! Celebrated my birthday dinner at Fogo de Chão last night, and what a major disappointment it was. But let me be clear, my review is not based on the food. The food is absolutely delicious. The drinks were great too! My review is based on the absolute horrendous quality of service this location has. Honestly, they should be embarrassed. We arrived just before our reservation time at 7. We walked in, no one greeted us. In fact, if the hostess staff wasn't too busy talking amongst themselves, they would have noticed not just us walk in, but a couple other parties as well. It took at least 5 minutes for us to tell them we had a 7pm reservation. We then waited another 20 minutes to be seated. Our server Giovanni was non existent. He came by the table (on his own) maybe one time. I had to ask for the sides. My husband had to flag him down for drinks. It took forever to get a dessert menu. And the check, not only did it take forever to get that too, but it was wrong. Do yourself a favor and skip Fogo de N-O and go to Texas de Brazil.

10/10 food with amazing quality in a beautifully designed restaurant. The service was great too with super respectful staff. The aspect that was a bit of a let down is that the chairs and tables are so close together it's hard to fit through sometimes. And on busy days, they tend to forget your requests and need a couple reminders But overall, will definitely come again for the meats!

Alyssa is a true cut above. She gave so much exceptional service. She exmplified true kindness and care. The place was pretty packed but each person working was very attentive. So many people were trying to garner tables. Make sure you reserve in advance. The food that came out was simply amazing too. I don't eat red meat and they accomadated with great choices and options. This place is a must try.

Fogo de Chão - Father's Day Visit. Visited Fogo de Chão for Father's Day and, as expected, it was extremely busy. We had a 1 PM reservation and still ended up waiting about 15 minutes past our scheduled time. Once inside, the restaurant was packed. With guests dining and servers constantly moving around with various cuts of meat, it was sometimes difficult to navigate through the dining room. Despite the crowds, the ambiance was excellent. I remember when this location was Johnny Carino's, and they've done a fantastic job transforming it into an elegant Brazilian steakhouse. The décor, lighting, and overall atmosphere are beautiful. Service was good, especially considering how busy they were. I ordered the sea bass, and it was outstanding. It tasted incredibly fresh and was cooked perfectly. The rest of my party enjoyed the endless selection of meats, all prepared well. The salad bar was decent, and the bar area looked fantastic. I also had the Strawberry Hibiscus cocktail, which was refreshing and delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely return. Next time, I'll just avoid visiting on a major holiday when the crowds are at their peak.

Let me start by saying how our first experience was not so good during New Year's 2026. The manager was very understanding and did not allow us to pay when we decided to leave. He provided us a return opportunity to give them a second chance. We returned recently and decided to forgo the churrasco experience. We shared the recommended wagyu ribeye and had the salad bar. Definitely a much better experience and the service was great. The restaurant offers a great busy atmosphere and offers a great selection of happy hour cocktails. The mint cucumber cocktail was very delicious with a great presentation. The ribeye arrived on a heated salted stone. I had never experienced the salted stone and if you have never tried it, it's a must! Love how you can continue to cook your meat to desired consistency. This was a great recommendation. Our server had other great recommendations that we took advantage of and they were spot on. We had great service all evening which definitely made up from our first experience. We witnessed another patron who was grabbing several food items with his fingers at the salad bar. However, one of the staff graciously confronted the customer to prevent future behavior. So glad we returned for another opportunity for the business to redeem themselves. Two concerns: 1. We had to wait about 20-25 minutes after our reservation time. 2. The handicap parking is across the parking way. Not sure why not in front of restaurant. When we left we saw two exotic cars parking directly in front and one even believed he was so entitled to park between two cars in the wall area creating his/her own parking ‍. I say tow it! Again, thank you Devon for listening to our feedback from our first visit and making our recent visit a great experience. It definitely made look forward to another visit.

Worst experience ever paid $74.00 person and only got served few time went there for dinner came out 3 hours later hungrier then we went in. At more vegetable to try to hope we might get more meats...and when we did get meat it was raw and cold don't waste your time or money go elsewhere better Brazilian bbq anywhere but here ! Near $700.00 bill divided 3 ways for 10 of us that went in our party. Sad and disappointing evening. To top it off they said SORRY here is dessert on us LOL! Almost an insult after we did pick one out to go check out the photos.

My first time trying a brazilian steak house. The decor gives an elevated feel and the smells were appealing. But would say that servers need more training: 1) We weren't made aware of the churrasco chip (red for "no more" and green for "more) until our waiter noticed that we hadn't been served any meats. And even then, we were told that it just needed to be on our table to be served. As we ate our dessert, overheard another waiter explain what each flip side meant to another couple that had just sat down. 2) when it came to paying, we were told our two gift cards were defective. Frustrating, but we went to Costco to remedy it. They informed us that whoever had served us, charged it and then canceled it, leading it to be flagged and locked. Frustrating to deal with. Back to the meal: Since we got the churrasco experience, we had access to the "salad bar". They have more than salad but be aware food is served chilled. Personally, certain things I like to have warm (asparagus, mushrooms, grilled cauliflower). I would say keeping certain items over a warming tray. Idk, just less appetizing to have it chilled besides those Kalamata olives, whole grain mustard, and hummus. Note: the plate you used for the salad bar is where your churrasco meat will be served too. "Gaucho chefs" would make their way around the dining room announcing the type of meat and offering it to those tables with chips. Only when waiter noted our missing service (and chips) did we have a wave of 5 chefs come by. After that, it was sparse. We must have been in an overlooked spot or maybe its intentional so you get full from nibbling on the sides provided? Unsure. I mostly enjoyed the sweet bread and Maduros (fried plantains). The meat experience varied. It would be over salted, overcooked edges, or fatty but sometimes you would get a succulent piece, if sliced at the right spot. By the way, the mini tongs they have at your table, are for holding the meat they are slicing for you. Be aware the juice can spurt as theyre cut. Overall, I would say I liked the drinks (Caipirinha). The strawberry hibiscus was made with fresh fruit but the chunks were a little too thick. That and the ice made up half my glass and also got stuck in the straw. Habañero mango was much smoother. Make sure to get those in as the timing was off. My partner was having Stella's and even his drinks would take 20 min. to get to our table from the bar. Would have given our visit a 3 but the debacle with the gift card did sour our date night.

We ordered the grilled artichoke to start, which was delicious. It comes with a Dijon dipping sauce that I loved. I ordered the macadamia nut crusted halibut that's on their current seasonal menu. It comes with an orange ginger sauce. The fish was firm and flaky, the mac nut crust gave it some nice crunch, and the sauce was flavorful. The fish comes with two sides, but I opted for a double order of the grilled zucchini. My husband ordered the sea bass that's also coated with a crust and comes with a lemon butter sauce. We tried each other's fish and we agreed they're both tasty, but mine was a bit better! I liked the lemon butter sauce on his fish a lot. Despite being busy, service was great! Our drinks stayed topped off, our waitress was ready with the check when we asked, and overall it was a nice relaxing dinner.

The poor experience began at the host stand. I had a reservation for 1:15 PM but arrived early and was sat at 12:56 PM. Despite my active reservation, when the host led me to the table, she asked if the reservation was under "M." When I got to the table and asked who "M" was, she dismissively replied that they "just put down an alphabet." I told her my name was Will, but she didn't care to acknowledge it or correct her mistake. This cold shoulder continued throughout the meal. When asked about drinks, I said "water for now," and every time I said "thank you" to our server, I was met with complete silence and zero acknowledgment. Once my guest--who is white--joined me at the table, the dynamic shifted entirely. He received 95% of the server's warmth, eye contact, and attention. The only time the server actively engaged with me was to take my physical food order. Even the food had issues--our first crab cake was served overcooked. Because my guest was the one who pointed it out, the manager came over and addressed him to replace it. While the manager's interaction was a bit better, the server's dismissive attitude toward me never improved for the rest of the meal. To top it off, I was the one who paid the bill. When the server returned my credit card, instead of handing it back to me, she chose to place the presenter book directly in the middle of the table. As a business owner, I understand how critical customer service is. The selective attentiveness and dismissive attitude I experienced today felt incredibly biased and completely ruined our lunch. I will not be returning to this location.

We purchased multiple levels of heat, seasonings and food I only tried the shrimp and the mussels, LOVED the sauce on the mussels and really enjoyed my shrimp. I personally had a pound of shrimp to myself and it was a good amount of shrimp. Also got Cajun fries, rice and fried calamari all were good but the fried banana cheesecake was delicious!!! The location and hand washing station were also all clean. Would recommend coming here!

The appetizers and side dishes were good, and we enjoyed the fries, noodles, and calamari. The only disappointment was the special sauce that comes with the crawfish and shrimp boil. The flavor wasn't what we expected and tasted more like a tomato-based sauce. Compared to places like The Boiling Crab or Kicking Crab, it lacked the buttery, garlicky, and savory flavor we were looking for. Unfortunately, the sauce was the main reason my kids and I didn't enjoy the seafood. Since the sauce is such an important part of a seafood boil, it really affected our overall experience. The food itself was fresh, and the service was fine, but we would probably choose The Boiling Crab or Kicking Crab next time.

We had the banquet hall side and it was able to accommodate 200 guests. They had the place set up early and allowed the wedding party to come in advance to drop off drinks, decor, etc. They allowed us to bring food and alcohol. They also prepaid for drinks from the bar so folks could order from a bartender. Only a few dishes were ordered (since there was other food from an outside catering vendor) and I only got to try it after it was cold so I can't give a wholistic review on the food they serve, but I really liked the leaf wrapped beef with Banh Hoi (vermicelli sheet) and the mango salad! My one complaint is the women's bathroom. Two (out of 3) of the stalls can't lock so the girls had to help each other hold the doors closed. However, it was mostly clean and had toilet paper in stock. +They offer takeout containers for leftovers from the party. +Very kind and accommodating staff. They cleared some tables to create more space on the dance floor. +Parking is plentiful.

When we first walked in, the place looked empty, and my wife and I almost considered leaving. Just as we were about to head out, a server came over, seated us, and explained the menu. The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. My wife and I loved this place and will definitely be coming back. It's great to have quality Vietnamese food nearby without having to travel all the way to OC.

The food is excellent, fresh, made with love from the Chef! I came to visit to celebrate my sister's 35th birthday here. I had such an amazing time and this establishment gave us smiles ear to ear. The Chef(s) show their care and hospitality in the food. All entrees, side dishes-absolutely delish. Pesto chicken flatbread, potato skillet, ahi tuna tartare, watermelon salad, grilled chicken plate, my mouth is watering again! The ambience and vibe is cool. Hats off to Nancy as well. With Diane in tow, we were pleased that a large parking lot was directly across the street from the restaurant. And as we entered and were seated in a booth in the bar area, an elegant but understated woodsy ambiance greeted us. Wanting to sample a cross-section of offerings, we began our dinner with soup and salad. Diane liked her bowl of orange-hued Lobster Bisque, and I enjoyed my bowl of hot and angry-red Garden Tomato Soup and salad of Field Greens with multi-colored Grape Tomatoes. Flatbread smeared with Herb Butter was very good, as well. A few Grilled Sea Scallops were warm and sizable enough as an appetizer, in addition to a side skewer of fairly large and tasty Grilled Shrimps. And Diane and I both raved about our chosen entree of Ginger-Sesame Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. The fish was flaky and cooked perfectly--in the league of the best we have ever had. At first I was disappointed that the restaurant was out of requested Tartar Sauce. But it soon became apparent that none was needed. A bed of Rice Pilaf served as a soft base for the fish for me, and Diane had Yukon Mashed Potatoes fulfill the same purpose for her chosen main. Specially requested French Fries were also gladly prepared by the chef. The skin-on variety, they were soft on the inside and okay overall. Throughout the course of the meal we received excellent multi-person service, led by our principal server, Marie. We expect to return for more of that wonderful Sea Bass. XXXX-1/2 stars overall for this initial outing!
