Went here last minute because my boyfriend's flight got diverted to Ontario airport. Ordered two picanha plates, one with fries and a Cesar and one with sweet potato fries and a Cesar. Steak was a decent charbroiled steak, and sausage was a tad salty but good. Cesar was super creamy, but honestly the fries of both varieties were the best part. It's added a little more variety into our collection of local spots for take-out. The lunch special is a fair value. It comes with a protein and two sides. If you get fries in your take-out order, I recommend you time your pick-up well because they're so so crispy when they're fresh but they do go soft quickly when sitting in the take-out box. The steak has been consistently cooked and tender in all my orders. The Caesar salad is yummy but pretty standard. I'm excited to try some of the other sides in my next orders! The lunch special may not seem like a lot of food but it does fill you up without leaving you feeling overly full. I will say that outside of the lunch special, prices are a bit steep especially with the dinner options. This is the first visit to this establishment. It started from a food truck and has been here six months, it's pretty popular. The customer service is great, the young lady that took our order was curious and professional. Picanha plate was very tasty. For $27, it's much better than most Brazilian places out there. Flavor is very authentic to Brazil and Venezuela. Rice, black beans, sausage and fried yucca. My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant and try to come whenever we can. The steak is always cooked perfectly and the smash burger is delicious (ok it's the best burger I've ever had). It's simple, meat, cheese and pickles, but it's juicy and tasty and with sweet potato fries it's absolutely heavenly. The steak bowl is filling and flavorful. I don't know what I was expecting. The reviews made it sound good, but I ordered a picanha lunch plate today with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese and I've never been more disappointed in a meal. For starters, for just these three things my total came to $20 after tax. There was barely any meat on the plate and most of the slices were the fat cap. There was absolutely no flavor on this meat and I literally had to use steak sauce to enjoy it. I was incredibly disappointed at the cut as well - not tender at all - incredibly chewy and honestly tasted like it was microwaved. The mac and cheese? Where's the cheese? The noodles looked old and reheated and the cheese sauce literally lacked cheese at all. What the heck is this and how do you charge $6 for it as a side?! The mashed potatoes were ok but they tasted like they came from a frozen Stouffer's container. I really honestly would like my money back for this meal because I splurged as I thought it would be a nice treat for myself but I can't be paying $20 for a plate of something that I could have made myself while half asleep. read more

Got interested with this place because of Clipp offer, and so glad that we got to try this place! The picanha steak was delicious, and their fries and yucca fries are so crunchy and flavorful! My husband and I love picanha. I can't believe we have a picanha steak restaurant in the area (albeit we came over from Temecula, but it was worth it). Ordered the picanha plate and picanha tacos (rare), and pork belly tacos -- cooked to perfection! Solid amount of quality meat that is so tender and moist. Love that it wasn't too salty either, but they had salt and pepper available. The father and son that own this place clearly love what they do and their food shows it. They came by to say hi and it was so great to see how genuinely kind and welcoming people they are, as well as passionate about their craft. The restaurant is beautiful and modern, and most importantly we can have a great steak meal in a casual setting. My husband and I went to Pichana for their grand opening dinner around 7 PM and had such a great experience. It wasn't super busy yet, but the staff was all smiles and so welcoming. I got the Pichana sandwich on a toasted French roll with chipotle and chimichurri sauces, plus crispy Parmesan fries on the side. My husband ordered the surf and turf with honey sweet potato fries. Both came out fast, looked amazing, and tasted even better. The team was so sweet when we asked for extra sauce, which you don't always get at a pay-and-sit spot, so that was a nice surprise. The prices aren't the cheapest, but the portions and flavor totally make it worth it. We also tried the pork belly taco and wow, that was incredible. Moved to this neighborhood a few months ago and have been meaning to try this place. I picked up a lunch plate during my break and found myself pleasantly surprised. I LOVE red meat and hate cooking steaks in my house due to the lingering smell. I found my solution to a quick and satisfying steak: Picanha! The steak was juicy and tender and perfectly cooked to medium rare. Lunch portion was enough to keep me full but not send me into a food coma. The steak came with some sort of light green mystery sauce and I also paid for an extra side of chimi. The mystery sauce was enough to complement the steak- super good.
