For being something as simple as meat and rice, teppan is so good! Mixing in the black pepper sauce and meat with the rice is delicious. I used to eat the meat and rice separately but no more! The jalapeno appetizer can either be really spicy or very mild depending on the pepper, but it's worth the gamble. And my favorite app the wings! Very crispy and juicy on the inside. They take your order at the table and all you have to do is wait and enjoy your sizzling bowl!
This place is located in a strip mall where there are lots of food options. Chose this one for the sizzling rice dish. There was lots of seating when we came for late lunch. The server was friendly and ordering was easy. The food came out pretty quickly. We got sweet potato fries, fried chicken and a salmon sizzling plate. The wings were small but yummy and crispy! The fries were tasty. The salmon plate was good but it was a little too fishy tasting. Overall, the place is ok. Will continue my quest for the best sizzling plate.
I came here often in the past but recently I was here and there amount of meat they give you is a JOKE. My mom had the salmon and it was the thinnest 3 slices. The chicken was only 7 pieces and the katsu the same. They are feeding ants here and giving you way more rice than you need and very little pieces of meat. I am never coming back. How do you expect to have customers if you are so stingy. This is why you guys are always empty. Goodluck
This place is good! I've been here a good amount of times for the past 3 years and every visit has been great. I've tried their beef teppan rice, chicken teppan rice, and also tried them in the curry option. All tasted great. Compared to pepper lunch I'd say it's just as good maybe even a little better.
Tried this place out for the first time. Negatives: -price, for the portion sizes it's a little pricey, the meat portions were quite small. Positives: -taste, we got the beef rice skillet, a seafood skillet and the calamari. The presentation was cool and the flavor was good especially with their house spice. -ambiance, is also standard nothing much to say too. -service, not much to say as service was minimal. Overall 3.5/5 Since I can't do half scores and we won't likely be going back, I'll give this place a 3/5 yelp score. It wasn't good enough for us to drive all the way back to Eastvale to eat here again.
The food came out so fast. It was really really really good. The sauce that they provided the table as well as a hot chili oil is probably one of the best sauces I've ever had. I don't really like calamari, but this was some really really really good calamari. The main dishes all come uncooked, but don't be scared. It cooks right there on the skillet in front of you. I'd love coming here. I hope to come back again. The artwork on the walls are super fun and colorful. Everyone was so attentive. I loved it.
Enjoyed the food greatly. Came on a Sunday pm and were seated right away. Deciding what to get was a bit hard but after that, everything was easy. We got wings and waffle fries for appetizers. Both were piping hot when they came. I'd skip the fries next time and double the wings. I had to cook my beef a bit in my hot pot but it cooks pretty quickly so that was nice. Hubby liked the chicken and the teen liked the udon. Love the art in the restaurant. Everything about it reminded my son and I of our summer trip to Japan. Well done! Will be back.
Devil's Kitchen may not be known for its sushi, but I believe it might be better left off their menu. The rice in the rolls was highly inconsistent--some bites were okay, while others were hard and tasted like old rice. Honestly, the sushi rolls from local Asian grocery stores are much better in quality. I'll have to try their other items instead
Our waitress was super nice and very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. The store is very spacious and it wasn't too loud, so you can enjoy a nice dinner with friends or family here. The prices here are so much friendlier than most places and they offer a lot of protein in the dishes as well Seafood Teppan Udon - It doesn't look like there's a lot of sauce when it comes out, but there is. I highly recommend mixing it up and trying it first before pouring more sauce on your own and accidentally making it too salty like I did. Even then, the umami really shined through. The salmon pieces got stuck to the plate pretty quickly too so make sure to mix those up immediately when you get the plate. Beef Teppan Rice - This one is your classic. They give you plenty of beef in here and the sauce is very well distributed. The beef was also a little more on the tender side so it was easy to quickly inhale our meal Galaxy Teas - We got the strawberry and the mango one. I assumed it'd have milk in there, but it was just fruit tea that came out. It's not as flavorful as I was hoping but it was refreshing to have during dinner. Takoyaki - This was a great appetizer. It came out hot, but the inside was cool enough for us to not burn ourselves with one bite. Sauce was generous so it was very flavorful read more
Devil's kitchen & teppan is a good fusion restaurant that brings combined traditional teppan steak dishes with some variety. The restaurant has the vibe of more fast food with traditional diner. It's not big or too small. Service is friendly. We chose beef teppan udon which is good, kimchi beef teppan rice (ok), tempura shrimp udon soup good. Overall, the portions are just enough and taste is average to good. If you need a quick lunch and this will do. Kids may like it as well because of choices of menus. read more
Went on a Saturday at 2pm and it's pretty empty (which was great because we had a newborn). Service was great and the food came out so quickly. I got the jumbo beef teppan rice with fried garlic. I would say the rice was not very seasoned so we had to add a lot of the garlic sauce that was on the table (which was good). I would probably try this again. read more

Devils Kitchen is still one of our favorites in Eastvale! I recommend the Shishito Peppers(A09) appetizer, Curry Chicken Cutlet Rice(D06) and the Baked Langostino Bowl(H09)... ask for a side of eel sauce for that bowl read more

Some friends and I came here for the first time and really enjoyed the experience. The presentation of the plates was great! It was really cool seeing them come out sizzling from how hot they were, and the salmon was also very tender and flavorful . I'd definitely come back again! read more

Foods are amazing! I usually ordered the seafood or chicken katsu curry. My husband always likes their beef curry. Servers are very friendly. Totally would recommend this place. read more

The service was quick and the restaurant was really clean. I ordered the chicken katsu don bowl and really enjoyed the dish. The proportion of the rice, egg, and chicken was balanced and thought that the bowl was filling. My friend also ordered the beef teppan rice. They enjoyed that dish but thought there wasn't enough meat provided in comparison to the rice. Overall, good experience and good food! read more

The food is very greasy. Also, it was something I could've made myself at home for the price that they charge should've been way better no flavor whatsoever. The calamari was pretty gross and so was the soft crab and their shrimp was just thrown on top of rice for the price they charge is not worth it. Sorry my apologies but I'm just being honest would never go back again.hurt my stomach so badly I only don't want the next person to be experiencing this read more
First time coming here with my friend on 11.10. Place was clean and customer service was good. We both ordered the Curry Chicken Cutlet Teppan. Food was delicious! We also got shrimp tempura and spicy garlic edamame. All was yummy. read more

This place is soooo good. Been here a few times and their teppan is amazing but the udon is also a sleeper pick! Never been wowed by the service except for this most recent visit- Brianna is awesome! So kind and attentive while also being the only person working when we came. Gave great advice on the menu as well. Will definitely be back :) read more

I came here for the first time on a Saturday around 1pm. This place is located in the same plaza as 99 ranch/costco. Plenty of parking! They weren't busy when I got there, I ordered their curry with chicken cutlet teppan. To be honest, I prefer my cutlet crispy, but when it was sizzling with the curry on the hot plate, it got soggy already. I should have ordered their teppan with beef since I saw a lot of people ordered that one. Overall, their concept is not bad, they have drinks and everything on the menu I thought is pretty creative that made them stands out. I'll definitely be back to try their other teppans! read more
I'm on a mission to try all the places in this shopping center and review them, so next on my list was Devil's Kitchen & Teppan. I just ate at Zeppin a week prior, so I guess I'm on Japanese Food kick. To start off, the place is open, with high ceilings and is very clean. My party and I were there for lunch on a weekend, but it wasn't very full, which is normally not a good sign. I just attribute it to the large amount of restaurants in that shopping center, so there is a ton of competition (there were also quite a few people eating at the tables outside, so that also could play a part in it). Anyway, my party decided to try the Devils wings, a shrimp roll, miso soup, spam & egg wrap, along with jumbo beef teppan and chicken teppan plates. I have a couple picky eaters in my group, so I was prepared for some negative comments, but to my surprise, everyone said the food was delicious. My son, in particular, is super picky and said the spam & egg wrap is one of his favorite foods ever, which is extremely high praise. One thing I did want to mention is that the teppan dishes are on a hot skillet, so the food will be really hot, but you should mix it around, eat it fast, or the food will crust up at the bottom. I also did have a peach galaxy tea with boba and it was pretty good. Next time I'll try a milk tea to see if I like that better. This restaurant has now been added to the rotation, and is one of the top places in this area. The service was great, and the food is great. You can't go wrong. read more
The sizzle of the plates make the meal so much more tasty! My party and I had an early dinner around 4:45pm so the dining area was pretty empty other than 2 other tables, but it has plenty of space with a great server who made sure we had enough water and our food was tasting good. The interior is not as interesting, but we don't really come here for the interior decor. The calamari was kind of sad for the size and price, but it was pretty good! I just think it was overpriced and maybe a larger portion for the price. The takoyaki was good and as classic as takoyaki can get. The main entree, I ate the curry chicken teppan rice and it was really well balanced with the curry, meat, rice, and the other garnish items. I think the flavor profile hit a nice 8-8.5/10 and was light as well. I need to come back and try their other options since I enjoyed my stay. read more

So once we got turned away from the Korean barbecue, even though they close at 10:30 we don't serve people after nine and we are there at 8: thank you so much We decided to come here and I'm glad we did so far Bre has been our server and she has been out standing the food was lagit and good ! First of I would like to say the service was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were patient and checked on us frequently. The location and the atmosphere was good too. Didn't use the loo there but the dining area was clean and tidy. The 3 stars were for the food. The whole sizzling plate was fun but kind of a miss on flavor and value in my opinion. We got the fried calamari for appetizer. It was good but the enjoyment was brief due to the tiny portion. The siZzle plates were so so and actual portion was lacking. Every plate had lots of rice and they went "easy" on the meat (seafood/ meats) Overall the experience is good and I do like this place but didn't feel value for the price paid. read more

TLDR; Always a good visit. Yummy food. Great service. Go ahead and let this place fill your tummy. Whether we're coming back from Palm Springs or going to an event in Ontario Devil's Kitchen & Teppan is one of those must make stops. If you're familiar with Pepper Lunch you'll love this place. Not only are the servings much more generous but the menu options are so much better. Every time I've stopped in the store is not really busy. Which is surprising but this complex has many food options so it makes sense. The store is very spacious and cozy. The employees are very attentive to their customers and service is always with a smile. read more

I've been twice now (says something, that I came back after the first time). So I'll review in order. The first night I went, the food was perfect. The flavor combination was hitting on all cylinders. The second night, I don't know if it was just a me problem, but the sizzling plate was so hot, I couldn't stir my rice fast enough and it started burning. So did some of the beef. The kimchi flavor was different from day one too. Overall, I might come back and try something else. The waiting staff and cook are really cool people and the service was good. We didn't have to wait long. read more

Last night was a first visit to this cozy Japanese-style restaurant in Eastvale where there are Crumbl, Uncole Tetsu, 99 Ranch, and other popular stores are located. My husband and I tried a plate of beef tepal rice, curry seafood tepal rice and takoyaki. The food were delicious but I'm a five-star for the caliber of the service I received. The server named Christie was so attentive and pleasure to talk to. We will definitely be back in near future. read more
