As a creature of habit, I can only speak for the chicken bowl. It's consistently good; you can tell that the chicken is made fresh and they slice it so thin it's actually a real treat. The rice is always good and I love the teriyaki sauce. I always order ahead so I can grab it and go to work. It's always ready available and I'm always greeted with a smile every time I entered the place. read more

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The chicken and steak were both extremely dry and tasted burnt, making them difficult to enjoy. The rice was also dry, which made the entire meal feel like it had been sitting out for a while. I was expecting much better quality, especially for the reviews this place has. I hope they can improve their food preparation because this wasn't the experience I was hoping for. read more

After i work out this place is a must !! salmon bowl is amazing with good sauce and generous portions. It is family owned and service is always good . Salmon wasn't dry and seemed fresh they have big tvs and lots of desks. it isn't a dine in so i usually just sit and enjoy some tv / phone time. read more

Solid Spot for Fresh Food, But a Few Downsides This place is easy to find, and the inside is clean with plenty of seating. It's usually not too busy, so getting a table hasn't been a problem for me. The staff--especially the ladies at the front--are really sweet and friendly. Food is made to order, so there is a bit of a wait (usually over 10 minutes), but it's worth it since everything comes out fresh and tasty. I actually prefer the flavor here over places like Waba Grill and Flame Broiler. One downside is that they don't always run the AC much when it's hot, which can make the dine-in experience a little uncomfortable. Also, if you're into boba, just a heads up: they use powder mixes --it's not a specialty boba spot. Overall, the food is fresh, flavorful, and enjoyable. I've been here a couple of times and always left satisfied. read more

I went to this restaurant recently. It seemed to be a nice place. The menu board showed a variety of menu items. I chose the Salad Plate with salmon. The picture and description in the menu shows avocados in the salad. To my dismay, there were no avocados in my salad. When I inquired about the lack of avocados, the cashier sheepishly told me that they don't put avocados in their salads. The whole reason I chose the salad was because they claimed that it contained avocados. I could have easily given this place a 5 star review. But their failure to adhere to truth in advertising prevents me from doing that. I wish I could get my tip back. read more

The restaurant is located in a spacious plaza with plenty of parking. The inside of the restaurant was clean, and the lady who helped me with my order was super sweet :). I ordered a steak and chicken bowl with brown rice for takeout which came with an extra side of sauce and a sriracha packet. The bowl itself was already incredibly flavorful without extra sauce, and the teriyaki was the perfect balance of sweet and savory--definitely hit the spot! Both proteins tasted fresh being nice and tender with the beef having some charred crispy edges (which I personally love). The brown rice was not soggy at all and even had a nice chew to it. Stopped by here on my way home from work and I can't recommend it enough! I got a steak plate with brown rice and a vanilla latte smoothie and I can't stress enough just how good it was. The steak was really well cooked and the sauce they put on top made it that much better. My absolute biggest surprise was the brown rice, I feel like it's really easy to mess up brown rice and have it been extremely dry but it was great! The restaurant space as a whole was very clean and well put together. There were TVs playing various news and shows so there always a form of entertainment available. Friendly service and the teriyaki (especially the sauce) is phenomenal. Usually I don't like teriyaki places because the sauce is nauseating and the meat is pretty dry. But Dragon Grill's teriyaki is delicious. I also like their salad with sesame dressing. read more

The beef bowl was simple, fresh & delicious. The brown rice was puffy and just right. Green onion topping tied everything together with its earthy sweetness. Portion was perfect, even with a wonderful taro boba smoothie I was left satisfied and not overstuffed. Would eat there again for lunch soon. This is my 1st time at dragon grill. Came here w a friend since he helped me install my dishwasher, I owed him a good meal. It's a small little diner at the corner of Euclid and Kimball in Chino. Tucked away behind an Arco gas station, it's a cozy eatery. On a Saturday early evening, not busy at all and so we ordered our food. I got the steak bowl w rice (no add ons like veggies or avocado but avail for a small cost). My friend went full dinner on me and got the steak and chckn plate. They were both very delicious. Lots of flavors very similar to a Waba Grill. I give this 4 stars for flavors and convenience of proximity to my neighborhood. Great alternative for those who love Waba Grill. Come support this local business. Super friendly and quick service too. read more

This place is much better than flame broiler or Waba Grill! Mom and Pop shop so everything is made to order and with extra care. No fatty pieces in the steak or chicken. The waiter was attentive and checked on us continuously throughout our meal. The food portion was decent for the price and not overly heavy. We go the kimchi dumplings and the chicken katsu plate. The kimchi dumplings had a mild flavor profile, but wasn't terrible. The katsu was great and the added vegetables helped break down the fattiness of the pork. The restaurant is not too big so it's not super private/intimate. They have a Photo Booth available if you are into that kind of thing as well. Music wasn't blasting, so it was an overall relaxing vibe.

We also purchased one of the strawberry desert sandwiches, it was really good as well and would order that again. My only complaint would be the bathroom, and overall feel inside. I think it was that they had a bug zapper right next to where you order and it was zapping flies, pretty nasty, but what else can they do. The bathroom as well was nasty, and no soap. Makes me wonder what the cooking area is like.

The rolls are stuffed so big that they can barely fit in your mouth, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the variety is top notch. Some of our favorites include... the sunset, 4 corner, the crunch hand roll, the Cajun yellowtail, the samurai , and the salmon belly. Holy cow the 4 corner roll is our new favorite! What the heck the magical seared Cajun salmon literally melts in your mouth. And because it's Cajun it has those smoky flavors that mesh so well with the sauces. Our eyes were rolling to the back of our heads with this one. Sunset is our go to. Salmon outside and crab inside. Perfection and the bite size portions are huge! The crunch roll was ginormous!!! So good! I was craving a shrimp tempura roll but wanted the nori so this hit the spot. It had shrimp tempura, avocado, and an overflowing amount of crab! We loved the 4 corner roll so much, our server recommend the Cajun yellowtail nigiri.... Insane. The samurai was really good too. Shrimp tempura, crab, and avocado inside and spicy tuna and fried eel outside. The salmon belly was crazy good. I've never tasted salmon so soft and melty. Asha our server was so so amazing! i dined here about a month or so ago. service was poor. i…read morewas served FROZEN toro. not at ALL worth the $14/piece pricing. it was so beyond disappointing. but the main point for my review: it seems that there are management issues in this restaurant. during my meal, an employee came in asking for their paycheck. i think the "argument" had something to do with the employee's earned tips as she was demanding to see tip calculations. in response, one of the chefs, i'm assuming the owner and manager of the place, was yelling and seemed to be making threats.. something about sending a lawyer to the employee's house. what was weird was that this was an open argument in the front of the restaurant. everyone, including me, was looking at the both of them. it seemed fishy to me. although i don't know the full situation, it looks really bad that the chef (manager/owner??) was yelling at their employee, to the point where she cried. whatever the situation is, making threats and yelling in public space isn't acceptable. must've been so humiliating and traumatizing for the employee. i didn't bother leaving a tip.. the service wasn't great either. the chef (most likely the owner) seems to be taking advantage of their employees. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. poor food quality and service, but on top of that, terrible management.
