SALMON BOAT (2R) - left and middle HEART ATTACK (4R) - right

Relatively fast service depending on the busyness of the restaurant and plenty of food options for AYCE! We had kind service that checked in appropriately frequently. Restaurant is very busy in peak hours so it can be a bit loud but having booth seats helps with volume. 5/5 - Seared salmon nigiri - Our favorite dish to order! Super flavorful and well-seared. The rice ratio was small and the fish cut was generous. We couldn't stop ordering this! (Until we got full) 5/5 - Rolly Polly (salmon and crab meat) - Highly recommend this no-rice roll! Fish portions were plenty, and we were left wanting to order more. 5/5 - Chuck Norice - This no-rice roll doesn't skimp out on fish portions. You also don't have to worry about this being too filling as it takes out the carbs from a typical sushi roll. 5/5 - Bora Bora - This is a true tuna lover roll! You get a lot of tuna inside and then wrapped again with another layer of tuna and glazed with a sweet sauce. Not much crunch but a lot of soft fish that'll be very satisfying to eat. 5/5 - Fire Yellowtail - My favorite seared roll at this restaurant! You get the nice char from the yellowtail and the savory filling bite from the crab meat. The nice touch of sriracha on top gives a unique spice kick that tops off the whole dish! 4/5 - Sotteok - Sotteok Skewer - A skewer that has both rice cake and sausage. Small portions and great to order once to bring a change to your typical sushi and nigiri orders! 3/5 - Fried Calamari - Nothing too amazing with the appetizer though very crunchy and well-salted. Great to order if you want a fix of calamari that is not too filling or a change in texture profile in your food. 4/5 - Fried White Fish Skewer - Fried well and soft on the inside. The sauce and green onions complement the main character well here. Pretty satisfactory mix of texture profile from the other skewers we ordered. Definitely try this out! 4/5 - Heart Attack - The two sauces mixed in with the jalapeno popper filled with cream cheese gives a real kick to this appetizer. Since it is also fried, you'll get a lot of crunch and a unique appetizer on their menu. 4/5 - Salmon Boat - A fried salmon appetizer topped with avocado and a creamy spicy mayo sauce. You get crunch with a mix of soft texture profiles from the avocado and the salmon. Super delicious and highly recommend trying! 5/5 - Las Vegas (fried roll) - A filling roll but very savory with the sauce and tobiko combination. You'll love the crunch on this roll and the fish that is inside! 5/5 - Sake2Me Special (spicy tuna and cucumber inside) - One of my favorite rolls at this restaurant. The spicy tuna is very flavorful and complemented well with the cucumber but is not too spicy. The salmon and unagi on top are my favorite fishes and so to have this on top was just chef's kiss. 4.5/5 - Popcorn Scallop Roll - Large slices of sushi with well-fried popcorn scallop! If you love crunch, definitely try out this roll!

Their AYCE menu hits different with the 2 tier system. Even with just a standard menu, there are so many options to choose from. But should you look to be a little extra bougie, you can indulge in the higher tier menu for each guest gets one whole lobster with melted butter. Presentation why you can't get better than this . Fish to rice ratios are always on point, attentive, service that got your back, and there's plenty of seating with smaller booths, perfect for date nights, but also bigger seating arrangements just in case you gather the troops!

First time ordering at this location and it did not disappoint. I was craving sushi after not having it for awhile and having a sake 2 me nearby is a plus. Fish quality is good and portion. I have yet to dine in at this location though looking forward to see how it varies from the one in Tustin.

Lots of parking available. Lots of available seating inside. Follow the warm glow through the window to find this food oasis. Service was very quick and the waitress was very helpful with explaining the menu. Once you turned in your paper with your order the food started flowing like water. Everything that came out tasted so fresh! The miso soup was piping hot a tasty. I LOVED the cucumber salad. But my absolute favorite was the green muscles. I could have gone and just eaten 4 or 5 orders of those. It reminded me of "oysters Rockefeller" with an Asian flavor profile. I would avoid the shrimp skewers, they're extremely dry. The gyoza and karrage also left alot to be desired. Make sure to leave room for dessert. They offer frozen desserts as well as a Dubai chocolate cookie. The Dubai cookie dessert was interesting. It was my first experience with the flavor combination. I found it enjoyable, but it was definitely more of a mochi than a cookie. I would love to come back here but I would only stop on my way to Vegas or something. Unfortunately im rarely in this part of town, but this was definitely worth the drive!

I've been craving sushi for the longest time, and since moving to Chino Hills, this spot has been on my radar. We finally went and tried a couple rolls, and they were 10 out of 10--so fire. The sushi was super fresh, and I really loved that it was on the colder side, which is my preference. My least favorite thing was probably the cucumber salad--I wasn't a huge fan of that. But honestly, everything else was so good--super clean, fresh, and the service was great. I think I found my new favorite sushi spot!

Highly recommend this spot I discovered, Sake 2 Me Sushi. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast, and the whole place had a lively vibe. All-you-can-eat is $35.95 and the value is excellent. They even had a limited Dubai chocolate cookie, and the wine pours were generous. The menu is huge with over 50 sushi rolls, and you order by marking items on a paper for each round, which makes everything simple and smooth. Standouts for me: the carpaccio was super flavorful and fresh. Green mussels were juicy, thick, and perfectly cooked. The salmon boat was done just right. Miso soup was warm, comforting, and hearty. The cucumber salad with chili oil was spicy, refreshing, and my favorite bite of the night. The rainbow roll and Hawaii roll were both fresh and well balanced. The scallop and shrimp skewer was tender and satisfying. Fried chicken was decent with a great crisp. The salmon skin salad was incredible--super crispy, not soggy at all, and honestly to die for. Far drive but 100% worth it. Plenty of free, wide-open parking and the restaurant itself is huge. It was packed on a Wednesday night, which already tells you everything you need to know. Great service, fresh food, big portions, and I would absolutely come back.

This was our first time going here & it's AYCE. It was also my Grandsons Birthday. First impressions were good, service nice & friendly. We ordered our First round of sushi, and was really impressed. Usually, when you do all you can eat it's loaded full of rice. Mind you there was rice, but not like other AYCE. The fish was fresh & delicious. They even turned on some special disco lights to sing my grandson happy birthday. We were all thoroughly impressed.... We will definitely be back. If I could say one bad thing it would be that there were little nats bothering us during dinner. It was a bit annoying, but didn't get in the way of enjoying our dinner & family time

Toro premium fish and regular nigiri
    Carolyn W.

SMALL RICE in AYCE and good salmon/yellowtail. There is also limited orders of premium sushi like toro that you can get. Quality was very good. One downside is they often forget your orders or give you less so be sure to remind them!! If you remind they were quick to correct. Come early bc there is definitely a waitlist esp on weekends. Clean and good food/service!

This place has plenty of parking, so no need to worry about having to circle. Sake 2 Me is located on a inner corner of the shopping center, so it's easy to spot, it's well lit, and has some cute decorations inside. We were seated right away, and we did the AYCE, so we ordered a little bit of everything we liked, and tried a few things! My favorite was that Tempura Nigiri, like how did they make something that amazing?! It basically melted in your mouth as well as having that amazing crunch from the tempura. I need it again. Also, yellowtail collar, only one order per table, but boy it was worth it. Nigiri was that perfect fish to rice ratio, and it was all super fresh to taste. Handrolls were perfect, and a good helping as well! Service was great, super friendly, and very on top of making sure we were taken care of. I'll definitely be going here for when I'm out in the area and meeting up with some friends who love sushi!

We had a few hours to pass -- drove around on a Friday night and so many places were packed. We decided to give this place a try. Thankfully it was busy but still had space for us to enjoy some delicious sushi. Prior to getting a table you are asked to put yourself on the waitlist, regardless if they have a big or short crowd. You are also asked to wait outside, they have a few seats in front of the door. Once they are ready for you the staff will come out and get you seated. As we got to our seats they were ready to get our drink order. Then they gave us time to look over the menu. All of the waiters are there to help you they don't seem to have just one which was nice because you seem to be always attended too. They are very friendly, efficient and on top of all that the sushi was so fresh! They also serve you a huge portion so choose wisely if you want AYCE or Al'acart. If you are looking to have some really high quality sushi with great service then I would recommend you stop by here. Our main server was David and he was great! Thanks for allowing to have a beautiful date night!

Top to bottom: eggplant tempura, monkeyball, unagi tempura, salmon skin skewer, scallop skewer, beef intestine skewer

So happy we have a sake2me closer to us now. We were pleasantly surprised with their tempuras and their skewers. Was so excited for the first round of food, we didn't get a chance to take pics of it. These are from our 2nd round. The place is nice and clean, doesn't feel crowded and their servers are nice. Delicious food awaits you when you come here. Some favorites of ours are the sushis (otoro, salmon belly, salmon), the seared Cajun salmon, the unagi tempura and unagi sushi. Ended the meal with hot and tasty miso soup. They had $3 deal for beer as well. I wasn't a fan of the intestine skewer because it was the small intestine and I only really like the large intestines. Salmon collar was delicious but huge. Rolls look delicious but so many pieces and we were afraid we wouldn't like it and they make sure to let you know that they can charge you $2 per sushi left over. Unfortunately we didn't know that the carpaccios were only for dinner so we didn't get to try them. Next time. Definitely recommend this place and definitely coming back for more. This place gives you the option of a la carte or all you can eat but everyone on the same table must have the same thing.

Came with my mom today, food came out fast and were seated fast, I loved how the tables were almost like cubicles. Ive never seen siracha on baked mussels but it was incredible. Had spicy tuna cr. I loved how the roll was long and cut in bite size pieces- will come again :).(the ponzu here is soo good!))

This spot is a fantastic find for anyone looking for high-quality sushi without the massive price tag. The all-you-can-eat deal is an incredible value, especially considering the variety and freshness of the fish. One thing that sets this place apart from other sushi joints in the area is their selection of skewers. Having those grilled options alongside the rolls and nigiri makes for a much more well-rounded meal. The service was prompt, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual dinner. Definitely a go-to spot in Chino Hills when you want a great meal that won't break the bank.

Chino's hidden gem! Everyone go try Bengee Sushi!…read more We were in Chino over the weekend for some board games and randomly searched for a lunch spot nearby. Ended up at Bengee Sushi and... wow. Completely exceeded expectations. I honestly didn't know Chino had such solid Japanese food We both ordered their Lunch Specials -- around $25 each, which is such a great deal. Since I'm not a big tempura person, we skipped the bento boxes and went straight for the good stuff. We got one Chirashi Bowl, and the moment it came out we were shocked. So much sashimi! Thick cuts, super fresh, and none of that fishy leftover-trim vibe. The sushi rice underneath was really good too -- not overly sweet or sour, just balanced. The other dish we ordered was the Sashimi Lunch, and again, super generous portion with way more variety than I expected. No shortcuts, no skimping. It also comes with miso soup and salad, both clean and tasty. We added hot tea, which hit the spot on a colder day. That feeling of "randomly picking a place and accidentally finding a great spot" is honestly unmatched They also offer a $79 omakase, plus a more premium $135 one (reservation required). After seeing how generous they are with their lunch portions, I'm definitely coming back for that next time. In short: amazing value. If you love sashimi and find yourself in Chino, this place is absolutely worth the visit.

I also tried a battered chickenc tempura shrimp, and battered sausage that was cold and seems left out for a while. I can't say the meal was enjoyable.

Stopped by Heemo Sushi in Chino Hills for lunch this past Sunday. The restaurant is very spacious…read morewith plenty of seating at both the sushi counter and tables. It wasn't very busy when we arrived--just a couple of other tables--so we were seated immediately. While they seem to have a massive selection of rolls (likely their specialty), we were in the mood for hot food. We ordered the Yaki Beef Udon and the Teriyaki Beef Bento set. A nice feature is that you can upgrade to a combo for an extra $10, which lets you choose between California rolls or tempura. The food was decent, though we found both dishes to be a bit on the salty and greasy side. One thing to note is that unlike most Japanese restaurants that provide complimentary hot tea, they charge $3.50 per person here for green tea. The service was okay--the servers weren't particularly warm or friendly, but they were attentive enough and came over whenever we needed something. I'd probably come back again just to try the rolls since that seems to be their main focus, but I'll skip the hot kitchen items next time.
