    Combo plate
    Joshua G.

Chicken+Gyro combo plate was really good. My son got the Brooklyn wings but unfortunately they were REALLY spicy (even too much for me!). The other issue is it being a take away place the sauce kind of made the wings "soggy" by the time I got back to the soccer field. Fries were really awesome, super crispy and I liked the seasoning. Server was super friendly, lol he warned me about the sauce being spicy on the combo plate (so I got it on the side) but not about the wings :( The wait wasn't too long for my food (12 min), but it sounded like other people had 30+ minute waits. I'd go back, but just get combo plate, or maybe try a cheesesteak.

Yummy!!! I must say I am very impressed on how good and delicious this place was. I haven't had a Chicken Gyro plate since I moved away from the SFV and let me tell you this hit the spot. I got the chicken and rice plate and ordered a 2 pc combo with Mac and cheese. The fried chicken is so juicy so flavorful and so fresh. The crisp on this was spot on and all the spices and seasonings on this chicken were spot on. The chicken and rice plate with the sauces on the side was so spot on. Super flavorful packed with flavor and super filling. The Mac and cheese it was so delicious. I would had preferred a bit more cheese but the taste was there. customer service is top notch here always with a smile and felt welcomed. Definitely can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

If there's one thing you have to try here, it's the NYC halal platters!! I got the chicken and gyro mix platter with mild sauce. It was a good portion of food. Very aesthetic platter and an explosion of flavors. The mild sauce on top gave it a nice kick. I would definitely come back for this. The double smash burger and Philly cheesesteak were also very delicious and meaty. I paired them with the potato wedges and it really hit the spot. Ugh, I die for those potato wedges and the sauce! There are plenty of dessert options to choose from. I saw they had carrot cake slices and Oreo cheesecake which were tempting but I went with the classic banana pudding and it didn't disappoint. The drinks were on the sweeter side so I watered mine down to make double the drink. Overall, really enjoyed the food here. I will be back for sure. Only downside is that there is no indoor seating. I took my food to the park and had me a nice picnic.

While in Lancaster I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Something different than what I wouldn't really find in Fresno since I'm always eating the same shit there. I seen on Yelp they had Jamaican Pattie's so that's what led us here. I didn't know it was an order and go place. I thought there was tables and chairs but no, just order and go. Fine with me cus we didn't plan to eat there anyway. Dude that helped me told me they didn't carry the Pattie's anymore but lucky for a us, a nice lady customer told us about a Jamaican place right down the st. So we was gon visit that after. While we was here, I was excited to see they have gyro plates! Reminded me of halal bros cus they have a white sauce and house made red sauce! I ended up getting that with gyro and chicken meat. It came with the rice and the salad on the side to which I'll mix in with the rice. My bf ended up getting the fried fish gyro and it came with fries. While waiting he saw everyone getting this drink and we found out it's called the Superman drink which is fruit punch & lemonade! I think it's kool aid fruit punch. It was bomb! Just the right amount of sweet and sour.. so refreshing! We did have to wait a while for the food but that's how you kno it was fresh. My bf really liked the fried fish gyro. It was a little messy but that's cus the white and red sauce was just spilling out. I took a bite and it was pretty good. My plate was BETTER! the yellow rice was nice and fluffy and had a good flavor to it. The chicken and gyro meats was delicious! No complaints there! Everything incorporated together like the veggies and the sauce with the rice and meat was fantastic!! It only came with white but I made sure to ask him for red as well. It had a nice kick to it too! Really good. I would definitely come back next time I visit Lancaster again. Service was also great!

Their food is so good ! A must try location ! Best customer service in the AV. We also loved their smash burger and the Philly cheesesteak.

Place is so good and customer service was 1000/10 even though they go for the eagles lol this was great their smash burger was amazing and don't get me started on their Superman drink better than some of Dutch refreshers lol would recommend

Gyro salad. House white sauce is divine. Meat tender and flavorful.

The food quality was very high, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, they were very authentic with a tomato sauce and sauteed onions and peppers, not spicy but I did ask for their home salsa and it brought up the spice level, the dish is served with homemade rice and beans, all well cooked. I also ordered a side of pancakes and bacon for my dad and they were perfectly cooked. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and worth the visit. I have shared my experience with my friends and family in Lancaster.

The chorizo was good tasting, we also noticed that they offered a home made salsa, we asked for a taste, it was amazing. We also ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, the portion size was also huge, my brother loved the dish, it has a pile of gravy, sausage patty, hashbrowns and fruit bowl. Baracoa Cuban Restaurant was an amazing discovery when we stopped for a lunch pitstop on our drive…read moreup towards Tehachapi. I can easily see them being a favorite in the Palmdale area. There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

Since it was our first visit, we walked up to the bar and explained that we're not IPA fans and asked if we could sample a few beers. The staff was super friendly and happy to let us try different options. We ended up really liking the Waterfront Lager and ordered micheladas. Their michelada mix is AMAZING. The Palmdale location is drinks only (no food), but the atmosphere and service made for a really fun night. Fast forward to yesterday. My husband and I had a date night and remembered how much we liked the beer, so we decided to check out the Lancaster location since they also serve food. When we walked in, the place was packed and there were only two girls working the entire floor. Even though they were clearly super busy, they were still very friendly and upfront that there would be about a 15-minute wait for a table. We appreciated the honesty, so we waited patiently and eventually got seated. We found out that the Lancaster location doesn't always have the same beers as the Palmdale brewery location, so unfortunately they didn't have the Waterfront Lager we loved. We were a little bummed, but our waitress gladly brought us samples so we could find something else we liked. We ended up ordering a lighter blonde beer since many of the others were too hoppy for our taste. We also tried their handmade mango and pineapple micheladas and WOW! both were so good. The food was delicious too. We ordered the totchos (loaded tator tots), 6-piece hot wings, and the Asian sliders. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. Even though they were slammed busy, the waitresses continued checking on us regularly throughout the night. Overall, it ended up being a really great date night. The ambiance is casual, fun, and welcoming, and both locations gave us excellent service. Lucky Luke is definitely going to become one of our regular date night spots moving forward!
