Went there earlier today for the first time about 1230 in the afternoon. They Absolutely killed it. Cashier Brianna V was amazing and super helpful. I'll definitely return for customer service alone. She answered any questions and gave her recommendations. All food was made fast and even with the line, wasn't a long wait. As far as the food, i maybe tasted the first 2-3 bites. I inhaled the rest. Chicken was so tender and cooked to perfection. Hot was hot, mild was mild. #CravingRoundTwo. read more

The food was amazing. The service was not. I downloaded the app, asked the girl to help me with the order because it was my first time. She took my order for a Box, which totaled $50.06, and told me to "SCAN THE RECEIPT INTO THE APP". The App kept on giving me ERRROR messages until it told me the receipt was TOO OLD to add to the Rewards Points. I tried contacting Daves with an email and i am being ignored. I refuse to go back until this is fixed. read more

I order 2 slider meal The chicken wasn't fresh at all, the chicken had been sitting for a period of time to where it was dry , this is the worse location I have tried and I haven't went back since this location a HUGE turn off HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE read more

I stopped by to pick up dinner for my son on my way home from Lancaster. Star took my order, and when I mentioned I lived in 45 minutes away, she recommended putting my son's cheese sauce on the side because his fries would be soggy by the time I got home. She also had the pickles put on the side. I received amazing customer service. My son was happy with his food. The place was clean and had great music playing. I am sure we will visit again soon. 11/22/25 read more

The service was a real disaster today. When I asked the short lady if the order I came to pick up for my delivery job was ready, she literally responded by asking me what the screen said. All she had to say was it wasn't ready yet. "Not yet" is literally fewer syllables than, "what does the screen say?" I worked customer service myself, and never, would I Ever, have responded to someone in that way. Zero star service, zero ambiance. I can't rate food that I refuse to try, I wouldn't dare risk it if they have that kind of attitude when I simply ask a question about my order. read more

Let me start by saying, I LOVE the food, BUT this happens 80% of the time I order from Dave's & now I'm DONE!!! Honestly, it's at every location, but this latest time is the most recent and egregious. I am allergic to cucumber, so I always order saying, "no pickles anywhere." I placed an order for 3 tenders, with cheese, no pickles. The ticket says it and I paid the extra for the cheese...to get home (an hour away), open up my box and see EXTRA pickles and no cheese!!! It would be bad enough to make the mistake, but clearly my order was heard and recorded & STILL, like it's so hard to AVOID adding a food! read more

Good stuff , friendly service . Good spices and time is always quick. . My kids love the food

11/9/24. Ordered the chicken tender slider (no slaw) with fries. If you checkin on Yelp you get a FREE drink which I did. The whole was perfect and delicious The fries were fresh crispy and seasoned. I'm not a fan of real spicy food so I choice mild for my slider. Again the meal was delicious!! The staff at the register were kind. I I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Lancaster. read more

Order the Dave bites which took 15 mins to come out with only 2 customers wait in the lobby to only receive uncooked chicken. Once I return to the counter to resolve the issue. Cashier gave me attitude when it was clear the chicken wasn't cooked. Love coming here but the service was terrible this visit. Unsure if I'll return to this location. Cashier Brianna was super rude. She needs retraining on customer service. read more

Didint like it it tasted of and it wasn't good you get full really fast and don't get to enjoy the food and the employees forgot to give us sauce for our big trío combo just a copy of canes never again. The inside is nice but they need to add ac to the place it was really hot inside read more

I order ahead and when I get my food it's been consistent & great. I get medium strips and they are fire! Fires are always crispy and warm

I like it!! Had a medium heat chicken and some fries and soda. I like the spice and heat. Prices are a bit much but everyone's prices are high these days. Nobody in the place, it was clean, and everything is new. Friendly service as well. read more

Tried Dave's Hot Chicken and ordered the slider & chicken tender combo with mild seasoning and fries. The slider was actually pretty decent--juicy and flavorful--but the tender felt a bit overpowered, almost bathed in what tasted like paprika and chili powder, which threw things off for me. The fries were okay, but not as crispy as I was hoping for. On the plus side, the staff was great--warm, helpful, and welcoming--and the location had fun, interesting imagery that gave the place a cool vibe. Overall, the food was good, but not great. I'd come back for the slider and the atmosphere, but I wouldn't call it a must-have or a place I have a craving for. read more

Star did a great job helping out with answering all of my questions. She also made sure to greet everyone as they entered the business. I thought that was both kind and professional. Her suggestions kept me in the know about upgrades, extras and all the drinks. I hit it at the medium level with today's spice level and got my grub on. read more

Dave's is back in my good graces. (I'm sure they are SO happy!) The issues they had on my last few visits have been resolved and they added the cauliflower to the menu. If you haven't had it, get it and make it spicy. It is DELICIOUS. I was very happy with the portions and quality of the food. As always, the service is great. read more

Usually great. Chicken portions small today. Quality and flavor still good. Just funky smaller tenders.

Dave's Hot Chicken was really good! The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of spice. The fries and sauce hit the spot too. Fast service, fresh food, and overall a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was the long wait time. They need more employees. So I got the cauliflower sliders and I have to say that I personally prefer it more than the chicken. It was so delicious. Thank goodness the place was clean but super cold. So had to take the food to go. For a chain fast food place you all get a thumbs up. read more

Ordered online. Both times have been big orders and both times they have fulfilled them immediately-very little wait. Chicken is very tender and their seasoning is good, however the mild & medium are the same, to me and the hot has a lil tiny kick. Fries are good. read more

The chicken was super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The spice levels are no joke, so it's nice that they have options for everyone. The sauce and pickles pair perfectly, and the toast is chef's kiss. read more

Dave's chicken is super fresh and the fries are BOMB! Probably some the best French fries ever, nice and crisp on the outside and super fluffy on the inside. Drools. We tried the medium spice and it was just right! If you are unfamiliar, if you ever had KFC's Nashville Hot Tenders the taste/style is similar only Dave's is fresh and 100x better. I can imagine the plain strips would be just as delicious. It comes with some bread to sop up any extra sauce. I thought I wouldn't care for it but the bread was good too lol. I'm glad we decided to stop here as I only heard of Dave's Hot Chicken because of Instagram, and we have no locations in Hawaii. read more

Honestly, it's rare that Dave's misses, but this one has yet to do that and whenever I've ordered food it's been solid. The staff is very friendly and do a great job at fulfilling online orders online. The interior of the restaurant also has a pretty cool layout. read more

Went here this week 3 days in a row definitely will keep going. Good and delicious food and exactly wat u expect. Oh my goodness this girl named star was so nice like actually and the food was good too, will definitely come again!!!

Food is consistently good. Shakes are pretty good too. Service was great, very friendly.

Super clean, super spacious, super flavorful food. I had never been to Dave's so it was extremely helpful that the person at the cashier gave me her honest recommendation and helped me out. Would recommend this location and food. Medium Flavor is just perfect, hot level was a bit too much of a spice difference for me. Mac and cheese was very cheesy Sauce was full of flavor !! I added honey to my slider and the flavors went very well together. read more

The customer service was fine, however, the food is disgusting. Chicken is undercooked and lacks flavor. Just not my thing.

I've had a lot of chicken sandwiches, and Dave's is one of the best I've had. It's a little shocking to me that there are only 70ish reviews for this spot. The sliders are what I imagine what normal portions used to be, and that actually is a good thing. Huge chicken sandwiches just leave me feeling like crap, and Dave's sliders are a perfect size for me to enjoy without feeling like I need to throw up afterward. Ate this while visiting a friend, and will be requesting it again when I'm back! Recommend getting a slider/tender combo. My days of subjecting myself to unnecessary pain are over, so lite mild is the way to go for me read more

Stopped by here for a quick mid afternoon bite. I got the #2, two sliders of fried chicken, mild, with sauce, pickles and kale slaw, crinkle-cut fries, some extra pickles and to drink, a Neapolitan milkshake. The chicken was nice and crispy, and decently juicy on the inside. Mild spice level was indeed mild, which was perfect for me. My friend who tolerates spice really well got the medium and it seemed like it was really spicy for her. The milkshake was excellent and you could tell that they use real ice cream! read more

So I am not sure if the chicken sliders are really good or if I was just really hungry. I ordered the 2 sliders with the fries. Is. The chicken sliders comes with pickles and coastlaw in it. I got one mild and 1 medium. The chicken flavor is OK but I felt like the dry seasoning was overwhelming. Like before you cook chicken you seasoned it and you flout it then you fry it but I felt like they took it out of the fryer and gave it another dusting of their dry seasoning. The fries were very hot and that too had their seasoning on it. I didnt have to wait long which was good. I will say the chicken was not dry I am not sure if I will come back... read more

Dave's Hot Chicken - Chicken Shop Near Me - Lancaster, California

It was my first time visiting here tonight. The entire staff was compromised of teenagers, but they were sweet enough to make up for mistakes on to-go/sit in orders, and they never lost their cool. I ordered the number #2 combo, which comes with two sliders with fries, and you can order several different types of heat flavors from absolutely no spice at all to the reaper. You can have each tender or slider a different flavor, or both of the same flavor. They also have a multitude of sides, including macaroni and cheese, kale slaw and cheese fries, which I would recommend. Even though we ordered up at the counter in person, we received the wrong order. One of the staff members was nice enough to correct this and we even got a free milkshake to make up for their mistake. The kale slaw was pretty to look at, but bland to eat. The fries are Kringle-cut, so they do have good flavor and texture, but with nacho cheese on top, it really makes a difference. The chicken itself is very nicely fried. It's not dry and there's a juiciness to it. I think the sandwich would be better on a ciabatta bun rather than a Hawaiian sweet roll. I just felt as if the accessories on the chicken sandwich brought down the flavors instead of enhancing them. This franchise still has a long way to go in order to impress me, but it receives a, "Meh," from me. read more

Took a friend to lunch here at his suggestion. I won't return. The chicken they sell is chicken tenders coated in a mixture of buffalo wings-type spices and deep fried. My friend had his "slider" style, meaning one 3 ounce piece on a bun. I had two pieces. Both came with a small 1000 island-type dipping sauce and about 12-15 crinkle cut fries. It's counter service, and you pay for and then pick up your items when they call your number. When I paid ($30!), the counter device asks how much you want to tip! What for? Ordering and picking it up myself? No dishes because they use returnable baskets. The counter help were friendly, but that's about it. The ambience is nil: a high-ceiling cement box with plastic tables and chairs. The place appears to be a chain bent on maximizes profits and minimizing costs. UGH read more

I got the Dave's not chicken aka the cauliflower. It honestly tastes really good and curbed the craving for chicken. I did think it was kinda expensive tho. For two plates it costed me almost $40. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. No complaints about either :) read more
