First time here, as my favorite Mediterranean restaurant is closed on Sundays. (Armani's). Called it in for pick up. I've tried Olives, which is very good and House of Kabob which is decent. My opinion- The food here falls in 4th place from the above mentioned restaurants. The flavor was OK but in my opinion, I have enjoyed other places more. I ordered the 2 skewer steak at $17.99 and the 3 skewer steak for $22.99. The service was good and the place was clean and quaint. The 3 stars are for A- flavor, salad had brown (wilted spots) but mainly for the pricing. The total was $40.98 plus taxes of $4.25. No receipt was given and she charged $48.75 That's $4.61 more than advertised on their Yelp menus which seems shady. Unfortunately I drove a little over 11 miles one way just to give them a try and by the time I got back home (22.8 miles) I noticed the discrepancy. Unfortunately, this will be a one and done for me.

The ground beef Lula kabobs that i had last year was tender and juicy. This time it was a little dry, but overall great home cooked meal. The chicken was very juicy and a 13-15 minute wait. This time they're selling a pistachio yogurt looking dessert and toffee pudding with Biscoff cookies in their Monster refrigerator near the front counter. They're also selling baklava and another pastry that looks like knafeh. The 3 mixed kabob meal was $24.46. I'll try the desserts next time.

I ordered food on Sunday Jan 8. 5pm pick up Order. This place is the Bomb!!!! Legit amazing. I got the 1 chicken skewer combo. My hubby got the steak & chicken skewer combo. The food was absolutely delicious. Chicken was juicy and the steak was tender. Rice was fluffy. Salad dressing was so flavorful. Hummus was creamy. We also ordered a side of taziki. Uuuffffff. Bomb!!! I will be coming back again & again. Absolutely delicious. I'd much rather spend $$$ on good quality food and this place had theeee most Amazing food. We will come back again!! A must try!!! I don't know how this place is getting 4+ stars. To start the lady/owner is super rude. Looking at me like I owe her something. Honestly i should have trusted my instincts and walked out, place smells like cigars, no bathrooms and the food was mid. They gave us more rice than anything and the rice was horrible. read more

This place is good/healthy! I love how fresh the food is and always a good place to grab mediterranean food. However if you are here during your lunch break, it may take about 30mins for them to prepare your food. The cashier said it will take 15mins to make. I came back in 15mins and she said "it will take 15-20mins (additional)"... At this point my lunch break is over.. sad. read more

Amazing food, we ordered 5 chicken kabobs with 1 skewer! The pricing is great compared to other places. My family and i love kabob so we have had our fair share haha. Very good our new go to spot! Phone order 8 skewer Family Meal on 4/30/25 afternoon, Big rip off!! I was charged $84 dollars plus tax (almost $90) the amounts, so little only to feed maybe 3 people, quantity and quality, Only getting worse. I would have saved money in ordering 2 or 3 combos instead of Family size. Super disappointed! Wish I would have taken pics. read more

I think this is a one woman operation so please be patient with her. It will be worth it! Okay, so I saw a few reviews about calling in and that they closed early et. al. So I called ahead the day before letting them know that I would be calling in for a "family meal" the next day. She told me when to call to place that in and apologized for being so busy as this was also just a few days before Christmas. She explained that when we come to the door to just knock, let us know why we are there, and gave a window of time of when it would be ready. My husband showed up, knew the instructions and waited for her to come to the door to unlock. He brought home the food and OMG!! Amazing!!! We live 35 minutes away so it was a bit of drive back but the food here is soooo good. Excellent falafel. Chicken was grilled perfectly. Rice, cabbage, hummus, everything was top notch and still very hot. The prices here for family meals were absolutely incredible. Really good deals. Amazing food. You won't want to miss out on this place. Hopefully, she'll get some more help in soon so that her doors aren't always locked and that she can continue to cook her amazing food! read more

I have missed this place! I used to work close to this place so I would get it for me and my assistant a couple of times a month. I had a meeting out near there this past Thursday. I got the chicken Shawarma plate which is always enough for at least two meals! Always fresh and delicious! They are always so nice there! They get your food made quickly! read more

I decided to pick up some kabob while in the area working. I opted for the chicken and beef Lula. I knew when I walked in and a lady greeted me. Looked like the owner and I knew it would be good. The first thing I tried was the small salad it came with. This was wonderful it had tomato, cucumber and the dressing was really good. The next would be the pita and Hummus. The pita was the standard bagged pita but the hummus was delicious. Next I went for the chicken and the Lula. They were both really good and cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place and the price was good. read more

I ordered a beef kabob plate and it was so delicious. Portions were very generous. Rice was amazing! Takes 30 minutes to make so I ordered ahead of time for lunch and the timing was perfect. It's located in a little shopping center where I never would've thought they were located at. Will definitely come back. They have chairs to be able to eat there which was a plus. Place could use some upgrades, but it was great. read more

My favorite Mediterranean Spot in the AV! I ordered the Beef Lula Kabob Combo Plate, a Chicken Skewer ala carte, Baba ghanoush, and an extra pita bread. This is my 2nd time eating here, and it was just as good this time as the last! The flavors of the kabobs are amazing! The portions are great, and the combos are reasonably priced. What impressed me most about this restaurant, was that when there was a misunderstanding about my order, the owner fixed it without hesitation! They practice social distancing, follows the State guidelines for COVID and their customer service is superb! This will now be my go-to spot for great and authentic Middle Eastern food! My favorite spot for Mediterranean Food. Beef lula, chicken breast, hummus, garlic sauce and rice is soooo good. Even their salads are so good. I had their falafel and it wasn't dry or small. Good to deep in tahini or hummus. I always call ahead and place my order and if they say order will be ready in 20 mins, it will be ready. No issues at all! The owner and his wife greeted me and my accomplice as we sat down. Fortunately we were the only customers which meant the wait for our food was shorter than it could be. The customer service was great and I felt safe inside. A large portrait of the Declaration of Independence was shown in front of me. A statue of snoop dogg was inside and two chairs that should be in a hair saloon were in a small corner. An interesting decor that I would otherwise not be able to see in other places. The personality of the man was unique, he was friendly but comedic at times. The negative only included getting our own food at the counter and probably portion to price ratio was off. The price was 22$ and elsewhere Mediterranean food was cheaper but not a lot cheaper. The value was okay. The best part of my meal was the texture of the chicken kabob as it was dipped in a white garlic cheese sauce and a jalapeño green one. The baba ganoush was alright, the tzatziki was fresh tasting. The experience here was outstanding. The only other negative although it was not our concern, was an elderly woman came in and was crying, begging for money because she had a disease and couldn't afford to pay for the medication at a nearby Walgreens. It was scary, but she didn't interact with us, just the owner. It was about 3 minutes and she left with some change. The owner is nice, if he was the Egyptian man as he claimed. The service was good quality and the time to get our order was fairly decent although it could have been faster. It was about a 30 minute wait more or less. I would recommend this place over the house of kebab in terms of flavor, but the price over at house of Kebob has a better value price per quantity. The taste was better here in my opinion, but the Shawarma definitely wins at house of kebob. Overall solid 5/5 experience despite the minor negatives: old woman crying, walk up for food instead of served, price per quantity/value and unsafe environment.

Each plate already comes with one, so that small gesture really stood out. Overall this is one of our go to spots when we're craving kabobs. Gee, where do I start. This place is by far THE BEST Mediterranean food place I have ever been to in my life! The restaurant is clean and spacious, with multiple tables for comfortable seating. The food is fresh, prepared to order, and delicious. Their chicken and lamb are tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. We've been to this place twice already and tried three combos so far; the chicken and lamb kabob, as well as the shawarma combo. All tasted amazing, and the portions are so generous (see pictures), they leave you full and satisfied! For dessert, we tried their Kenafe and Baklava, absolutely delicious! What I really loved about this place, aside from the perfect food, is that it's family owned and the owners greet you with big smiles and gracious hospitality.
