It's a small place that offers good food. There was one large table (5 seater) and 2-3 small tables if you wanted to sit down and eat. The lady is cooking the food fresh so there is a wait time about 20-40min depending on the order. The menu has a good selection and the prices are reasonable. We decided to place a catering order from this place on a Friday afternoon for the following day and they were able to accommodate. This was my first time here, so I was a bit skeptical on portions and flavor, I have to admit that they delivered! The chicken, the meat and generous portion of hummus were flavorful. The salad was fresh and crispy. Very welcoming and friendly personnel and prices are very competitive. Definitely will return. The place is small with seating for two families of four but highly recommended for take out. The restaurant is clean inside and the lady working there was very nice. I'm not sure if she was the owner. I asked if they had a small side of tzatziki sauce and she said no it's an appetizer and she ended up making me a small batch for free to let me try and it was very good. We had the chicken kebab and the beef kebab and falafel. I would say the chicken was better than the beef and the falafel was very good. A lot of food too for the price. The garlic sauce was very good as well. My only complaint was the cold pita I think it should be heated in my opinion. They give you a small about a salad on the side. My boyfriend picked up food to go from here. They don't have many reviews for some reason, but their food is quite good. He said the lady that served him was very nice, she gave him tzatziki for free to try when usually there's a charge. The chicken kebab was juicy, beef kebab was flavorful. The sides were really good as well. We will be trying this place again in the near future. read more

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Lake Arrowhead, and so glad I wasn't discouraged by the lack of reviews! There seemed to be one lady working in there at the time, but she took our order quickly and said it would be a 20min wait. It was 20min on the dot. We ordered the falafel plate and the chicken shawarma plate. The portions were generous. Both were piping hot, with salad, hummus, rice, and a large pita. The falafel were absolutely delicious, and the shawarma was flavorful! I liked the rice - it didn't have an intense flavor profile but it wasn't just plain white rice either. Nice and mild to go with the meal. No, they don't heat up the pita, but would you heat up bread for a sandwich? No! So don't complain - you're adding cold hummus and lettuce to it so why do you want it hot anyway? Not much seating in there - two tables. Small cute little place with friendly customer service. We got the #1 with lamb, chicken and beef. It comes with rice, salad, hummus, a grilled tomato and jalapeño, they also give you a little side of garlic sauce, hot sauce and 1 pita. While the food was pretty good, the rice is a little different, the lamb was not gamey (which was nice) but we felt the hummus lacked a little flavor. We would come back, maybe try a few more things or one of the wraps that also looked pretty good. read more

I was visiting a friend in the area and wanted to go to lunch at a non chain restaurant. I saw the sign for this place and decided to give it a go. Two ladies were running the place. The menu said it was Syrian. Most of the Mediterranean restaurants offer the same food- kabobs, hummus etc. and it seems like each nationality has a slightly different twist on things. I ordered the kebab trio. The beef was good, the chicken tender and succulent. The lamb was ground up and mixed with bell peppers and other spices. I don't like bell peppers, so I wouldn't order the lamb kabob again. That's a personal preference, and someone who liked bell peppers would have no problems. My friend ordered the lamb, and it came as chunks of lamb. (So no bell peppers!). It tasted very much like lamb and my friend really liked it. The price was pretty cheap imo. The only downside so to speak is that it takes 20 minutes for them to cook the food. It's not fast food, but it's very good food and a fabulous find in the food dessert of the Antelope Valley. I ate at the restaurant. It's just two tables, with no atmosphere. While we were there, several people came to pick up to go orders. I ordered a chicken dinner to go for my sister. It was tender and juicy, (neither dry nor undercooked) chunks of chicken in a bed of yellow rice with a side salad and hummus. All of this for 14, which I thought was an amazingly low price in this day and age. Also, they had, and I'm not joking, at least a dozen types of bottled water for sale. They had water in plastic bottle, cans and glass bottles. They had plain water, carbonated water and alkaline water. I've never seen a water bar before and thought it was kind of funny.
