I visited the resturant around noon on and Friday and was surprised it wasnt more people there for lunch. The restaurant wasnt crowded. I ordered the $10 meal which was sliders and fries. I asked for no sauce and it was on the receipt but somehow my order had sauce on it. I didnt realize it until I got to my car. Checked my food before pulling off and was . Anyway I went back into the resturant and the young lady who took my order gave me another slider with no sauce and we were all good. I order mild chicken sliders. The strip was tender and juicy. The mild flavor has a good amount of flavor without the overloading flame of heat. I also appreciated how the rub on the chicken wasnt powdery. The fries were good even when cold. We have been to this location four times since it opened and unfortunately, it has gotten progressively worse with every visit. After this experience, we will not be back for at least six months. Hopefully, by then, there will be better management and employees. When we walked in, there were only three customers in the restaurant. Two were eating and one was waiting for his food. We placed our order and while waiting, I seriously questioned whether we should even eat there. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. Not one table was clean. The floors looked like they hadn't been attended to in quite some time, nothing appeared to have been wiped down, the lids and other supplies were not stocked. Overall, the cleanliness was an F-. The employee who took our order was friendly to customers, but once customers walked away, the atmosphere completely changed. Employees were loudly BSing with each other in the back, and the cashier and especially one of the women in the back were so loud that it sounded like they were partying at someone's house. It was extremely unprofessional and completely inappropriate for a restaurant. It's not surprising that the place was practically empty. Then came the food. We ordered two medium heat meals and one hot. My medium was VERY spicy!! So spicy that my family tried my chicken and immediately noticed how much hotter it was. My husband ordered hot and somehow my medium was significantly hotter than his hot. Either they were switched or there is no consistency with the spice levels. All of our fries were cold and my daughter's macaroni and cheese was also cold. My husband received roughly half the amount of fries that I did, although, it didn't matter because the fries weren't good anyway. We were excited when Palmdale finally got an Angry Chickz. We've been going to the Bakersfield location on Gosford for years and have never had a bad experience there. We came to this location with high expectations, and unfortunately, this location has fallen very short. The food quality, temperature, portion consistency, cleanliness, and employee behavior all need serious improvement. Management needs to get this location under control. Finally stopped to try this spot out after seeing an ad for it online and a video by my favorite foodie blogger. When I arrived the staff was super kind and helpful. I loved the inside of the restaurant. I signed up for their rewards and got a free slider. I ordered the following items online. Extra slider hot Angry fries Mac n cheese Extra tender on toast hot Omg the slider and tender were actually hot!! I was spiced out but it was honestly super good. As a pregnant foodie this was something else. The Mac and cheese was decent, feel it could have a bit more burnt cheese on the top but overall pretty decent. The fries were the bomb. I've never been here before but my first impression of this place was great :) I arrived around 9:30pm and since i've never been, i mentioned it to the nice girl at the register and she offered a menu and answered all my questions and even offered a sample of the spices. We order "Hot" level for my kids at Dave's Hot Chicken, which they handle without any issue. We ordered hot here and What we received was far spicier--likely Extra Hot or Angry--and the food was essentially inedible for them. I tasted it myself and found it unbearably spicy as well. It appears the spice levels were mixed up. The fries were soggy, not crunchy or hot. The staff is not the friendliest and there was nobody in line but myself and now I can see why. The taste of the food was good I guess, the problem I had, that I'm surprised no one else has mentioned, is the texture of the dry seasoning piled on top of the food. We got the bowls with Mac and cheese and fries under the chicken and there was so much dry powdered seasoning on top that the texture was unpleasant for me. Maybe this doesn't bother most people. I also thought it needed some pickles on top or coleslaw or something. Some contrast to the heat. As a side note several sodas were either low on syrup or totally empty. Actually, not bad. I got the meal with rice and slaw, two tenders, for about 34 bucks for two. Medium heat, not bad. You could get a bucket and more at KFC, but the service was friendly and slow.
