I ordered the smothered baked chicken plate with the green beans and potatoes, dressing with a side of macaroni and cheese and cornbread for myself and my dad. The food was delicious and the portions are generous. The customer service was on point. It did take 2 hours for my food but I'm okay with that since it was made to order and the wait was worth it My dad loved his food as well. He said the corn bread reminds him of his mother's. I will order from there again read more

MY REVIEW IS OF THE LOCATION ONLY. I NEVER WENT INSIDE. First of all the address doesn't match the chronologically order of numbers in rest of the shopping center. So I'm driving around in the (sketchy) center looking and calling the restaurant and the lady that answered could give precise instruction on how to located the place. When I finally gave up and was just leaving I made a right out of the drive and lo and behold it's on the outside of the center. Literally the highest numbered address and the only suite PRIOR to going into the center. Like hello why not say I'm not inside the center. She kept saying if you in the center near the beauty supply go around the back. Then around the back from Louisiana Chicken. Honey let me advise you, you are prior to the center go around back doesn't make people will at least me think the corner prior to or outside of the center. I was trying to drive to the back of the center and it was not where you'd want your customers going. The spot is off Kingtree and I Street and you can't park on Kingtree nor would you want to there's homeless encampments all over there with antique store directly across the street from her door so any street parking on I would be taken by those patrons. And I had a disabled person in the car who couldn't walk from all the back where the shopping center began. So I'm sure she's missing out on foot traffic and inconvenience of parking traffic. If I maybe so bold as to give my humble opinion, break you lease and find another spot that isn't as scary for lone females and elder patrons to visit, that has robust lit parking and that doesn't put Baby in the back corner !! Sorry I tried to patronize read more

I ordered this through DoorDash based off the Yelp reviews. I got the smother pork with mac & cheese, yams, and a side of greens. The gravy on the pork chop did cling to the pork chops. Everything could use a little bit more seasoning as in salt and pepper. The yams lacked a little something. I don't know if it was sweetness and less orange juice? All I know is it was missing something I can't put my finger. II didn't eat my meal tonight because I didn't feel like doctoring up my food tonight. Othe than that the bites that I took were pretty good. read more

i ordered ahead at 12, took about 5 hours just for some chicken, rice, and some greens! we came over there 6 times and she told us she was just starting the chicken but hasn't made our food yet, she was serving others when they didn't order online. the food is alright but not worth the wait for 5 hours !!!! she was very unprofessional we called multiple times, never answered the phone and over charged for some alright food. read more

Tonight, we ordered our food through GrubHub. We figured we would try a restaurant we haven't ordered from and I am glad we did. The restaurant staff kindly called to let us know they were out of fresh baked chicken, which was one of the plates we ordered. They offered to either replace with a different entree or asked if we preferred to wait for it to be made. Given it was our first time ordering from them, we opted to wait. Not only did the food arrive sooner than expected, they threw in extra goodies and the meal was cooked to perfection. We ordered oxtail w/Mac & cheese and candied yams. Also ordered the baked chicken w/greens and cornbread (soooo moist). We will DEFINITELY be visiting the establishment and putting this spot in our rotation. Phenomenal food and service! read more

Came to Cali today for some Lancaster style soul food first time let me tell you the lady was nice to me. That's all I'm gonna say about that. It took a really long time for my order to be filled. I was there at the 25 minute mark and I was there at the 50 and I was there at the hundred minute mark yeah it took a long time in the area is not good. Parking is terrible if I haven't seen this area before in Los Angeles I probably wouldn't have got out of my car and go get my order but is Lancaster so what can happen to you? Anyway I ordered oxtail mac & cheese, red beans and rice fried chicken cornbread and she gave me some bread on the side the chicken was good a little bit salty but it was extra crispy which I liked. I end the food was hot at 100 minutes. It better have been hot. The mac & cheese tasted like it had a little bit of chicken taste in it like broth or something. I don't really know it was OK the red beans and rice. I also ordered that I didn't get any gravy with my red beans and rice. I was very disappointed and it was a little bit dry because of that point and it was little I mean little I got more rice than red beans so I also got yams which, in my opinion were undercooked had a pretty good flavor. I guess the oxtails now I was disappointed for two factors. It wasn't spicy it needed a lot of pepper needed some salt, but I didn't have no oxtail gravy. What's up with that? she needs to be putting gravy with her food I also got the banana pudding now I think she uses condensed milk in that cause it was so sweet. It was ridiculously sweet. I had to check my sugar 2×3 times and I I'm not a diabetic. In the end I spent about 80 bucks and I was glad I really didn't wanna cook and the food wasn't that bad but for that price in that time I probably could've cooked the whole meal myself and didn't have to see crackheads run across my car anyway I hope she has a blessed restaurant. I think I'll go somewhere else in the valley for soul food. The ambience is OK but make sure you lock your car.. read more

Unfortunately we ordered towards the end of the night and they were sold out of Oxtails. What we did get was: Meatloaf & rice dinner w/cabbage & green beans with potatoes. Fried fish dinner w/greens and corn bread Fried chicken dinner w/Mac & Cheese and candied yams. 3 dinners which was able to feed 3 and 1/2 fatties! I wanted to add pictures of the food before they broke into it but I got pictures of some of the plates. I also want to note I told the chef that my hunny was disappointed they had sold out of the Oxtails and she said there was a tiny bit left just not enough for a plate so she packed it up for him! It was clean and simple inside- I picked up. Good music, friendly staff. The flavor !!! Can you say 'mouthgasm' Seriously if you want some delicious soul food for a very reasonable price (HUGE plates) around $25 each. They also have deserts which we didn't try. Definitely going back PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE support this small business so she stays... read more

The service was not good because she did not honor an order. I truly try and patronize small minority businesses but sometimes it's impossible when there is no integrity. Involved. I paid for a meal that was never received and couldn't even get a simple call to say - Hey my bad it took so long to prepare your order - here is an extra so and so. There was no resolution for waiting 5 hours for food that I never received and no immediate refund either. It was more of a -get to your refund when I can attitude. It was a lot of phone calls that went nowhere. But it is a lesson learned I will continue to pass it up like I been doing and NEVER support again. It's also on a very sketchy looking corner also. read more

They are a scam and thief's!!!!! DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE. They take your money, over charge you, and never deliver the food. Then there is no communication and they don't answer the phone. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting business. read more

Real home made food, delicious great price and excellent customer service highly recommend Cali Peaches Cousine!

The portions were large, the fried chicken was fried to perfection, Mac and Cheese was amazing and I can't say enough about the greens. The pineapple lemonade and the Cali kool aid were delicious as well. The owner Ms Peaches was sweat as can be with such a welcoming personality. read more

Terrible. They are thief's! Do not order delivery food here ever !!! My 80 year veteran grandmother ordered food from here as I sat with her and waited over 3 hours and the food never came. They don't answer the phone, extremely unprofessional that you can't get in contact with them. She then proceeded to check her bank account and they over charged her on top of that. This business is a disgrace to not only treat the elderly like this and a veteran at that. read more

Service is terrible. Over $70 worth of food was ordered and never received. If I could give them zero stars I would.

The food served at Cali's Peaches is absolutely superb. The service is enthusiastic, attentive, and empathic. I had the fried chicken which was seasoned PERFECTLY, crispy, and juicy. The macaroni and cheese which had pockets of melted cheese, and potato salad which had soft potato and amazing vegetables. The food here IS NOT FAST FOOD. This is pure, from the soul, home cooking. The wait time is about 30-40mins even on a light day but, that is what MADE TO ORDER food takes. I assure you, it was well worth the wait. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. read more

Best cabbage I have ever had! Mac & cheese is cheesy! just give yourself at least 2 hours to wait for your food! but it's worth the wait! make sure you get the cool aid. Oh and say hi to Peaches read more

Okay, let me just say -- the food here was so good! The mac and cheese might honestly be the best I've ever had -- super creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The oxtails were juicy, tender, and just fell right off the bone. You can tell everything was made with care and love. The customer service was just as great -- everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It's rare to find a place where the food and service are both this good. I'll definitely be coming back and telling all my friends about it! Go get yourself a cali Koolaid! read more

After driving by this place for awhile, my spouse and I decided to go there for dinner. Peaches herself was so cool! We had the oxtails, red beans, corn, and the meatloaf, corn, and potatoes and Mac and cheese. It was DELICIOUS! I felt like Peaches served us food like she had invited us over for dinner. Homemade soul food indeed! We're coming BACK for the ribs, fried chicken and trying the other side dishes! A gem in Lancaster for sure! read more

I had the fried fish here last week, some of the best I've had in my life. The greens and Mac n cheese were also pretty great. There was an issue with the place being listed as open on Apple Maps and my online order still going through but they were very nice about it and gave me a second plate for free the next day for the trouble. It's the first restaurant where I've felt compelled to write a review. Incredible food with incredible service, a must try place if you're in the area. read more

placed an order with Cali Peaches Cuisine, but unfortunately, my food was never prepared or delivered. I tried reaching out to resolve the issue, but I did not receive a response. I hope the restaurant improves its communication and order fulfillment in the future, as the menu and reviews looked very promising but I was robbed and not refunded nor able to even try it. read more

Food is good but may I please suggest that you peel the potatoes in the green beans. The potatoe skin is tough. Also, it would elevate your greens more if stripped the stems. The stems tend to be a little tough. Thank you. read more

I was blessed to be treated to an amazing meal by my Care Provider, Ashley Brooks. Who by the way, know the best eating places here in the Antelope Valley. I wanted some "Soul food" after passing this place for a while I stopped. The restaurant was in not so good area off Ave I in Lancaster I ordered meatloaf dinner @$24.00 it came with white rice I picked yams and Mac&cheese for sides. The portions were ok my meat loaf was dry and fell apart, yams had too much honey or citrus taste for my liking. the Mac and cheese lacked seasoning and didn't have cheese throughout the serving. I paired it with a cali cool aid drink that was deliciously good. Not sure if I come to this place again for a meal maybe I'll try something different. This place for sure is not a Dulans like in Los Angeles that's for sure. But it the soul food spot in Lancaster so try it. Support Black Businesses read more
