I've been to this Chili's multiple times, and have always had a great experience. The one thing that I like about this place is that they are very kid friendly. With 3 small kids, sometimes it's difficult to go out to eat, but we have never had a problem here. The servers have always been excellent and helpful. Took my 4 year old daughter here for lunch yesterday and had another flawless experience. The waitresses were attentive, and we received our food quickly. My girls love the mac N cheese here. I'm a fan of the ribs and burgers, but opted for the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon which was delicious. I like their ziosk option which allows you to check out and pay anytime. Five stars for service, three for food. I was in a hurry and hungry for barbecue. I was seated immediately and my server promptly took my order for water and a margarita. I ordered the Baby Back Ribs when she brought the beverages and the meal was delivered quickly. The server even stopped to help me with technical issues linking my frequent diner account to Plenti account. I got just the right amount of attention after a stressful day. The ribs, however, were mostly dry and chewy. It was clear that the ribs are precooked with your sauce of choice slathered on before serving. The fries were ordinary, as was the Presidente Margarita. They get a one star because my husband enjoyed his meal and the fried pickles and the guacamole were good. I ordered the bacon only burger and it was terrible. The burger was so over cooked it was black and hard. It tasted like fish was ground into the hamburger meat and it tasted awful. My husband ordered fries with his ribs and didn't get them. Well, where do I start? My (large) family and I often dined here for just about every birthday celebration, etc. Recently however my encounter has completely changed my mind about the culture and climate I see developing throughout the Chili's world, if you will. Nationwide I have begun to see more and more complaints about racism. I took it all with a grain of salt until it happened to me. So, on December 11, 2018, I am an African American woman, and I was accompanied by my spouse who is Mexican/Italian, my 13 year old African American son, and a white female associate. We enjoyed our meals. When it came time to pay the split ticket, I paid first at the kiosk, afterward my female associate paid. As we rose to leave I noticed the kiosk was still blinking and showed a problem with the check. I called over my waitress who quickly grabbed her manager, who happened to be white also. My associate and I each pulled up our online banking to show that we in fact paid the checks. My associate was allowed to leave the restaurant after her online payment was reviewed. But, for some reason the manager declined to allow me to leave and insisted that I pay again. I told her I would be happy to redo the payment once she reversed the charge on my card. She refused and insisted that I pay again. So, I paid again with our joint discover card. Somebody tell me why my white associate could leave showing her online banking and I couldn't when the evidence of the deduction from my account was right there on the spot? read more

Ordered curbside waiting for 20 min. nobody came out no call nothing, go inside to find out they ran out of 10oz steaks and didn't think to call us or come out to tell us, we had to wait till the made us 6oz steaks. Management if horrible here and shouldn't be fired. To top it all off after and extra hour of waiting the food is cold and not what we ordered. The food was horrible didn't even finish eating it. They didn't even give us our money back for the 10oz steaks we paid for they didn't have. They gave us gift cards not a refund on the money we paid. I don't want to ever eat at a chili's again too many other place that have good service good food to ever go back. We ordered curbside due to the dinning being closed. Literally everything we ordered was ice cold and we only live 5min from chili's. I had to reheat all the food the Cajun chicken pasta literally had no sauce I may as well have been eating plain noodles and chicken. I've been coming here for years and it's fast and easy when you don't want to cook and the 2 for $25 is a great deal. The food isn't great and is much too salty but that isn't the fault of this individual franchise. I will say over COVID they have fine tuned their take-out procedures making it faster and much easier. And if something is missing they are gracious and bend over backwards to make things right. The slowest dinner we've had in a while. The appetizer came out right away but then we waited, and waited for our food to come out. We asked about it twice. When it finally arrived my husbands order was wrong but he just took it and ate it because we weren't waiting any longer. The broccoli looked old as well. Some of the shrimp for my fajitas seemed undercooked as well, so I skipped those. As I stated when I checked in, 's was our choice by default because all the spots by the Mall in Palmdale had long wait lines. That said, we were seated right away by the host, and as my wife stated, "was as sweet as sugar", and noticed that the table wasn't cleaned well and promptly got a towel and wiped it down. My family & I just visited during Covid & we were sat in a tent, which actually wasnt too bad! It was a pretty windy day so it was kind of cold sitting out there, but beside that the service was outstanding! Working In The restaurant industry is tough and I do it also so I know what it's like, so we sat In the bar side knowing it was just the one guy working the whole floor and we understood that it was going to be a wait and he is doing the best he can he came and got our drinks and food order we sat there for 20 mins still not getting out waters at least which probably wouldn't have bothered me so much but when the people that came in way after us and being served there mixed drinks before us was not okay. They didn't acknowledge us once after our order was taken and we were there over all 40 mins waiting. So I'm not knocking the food. Didn't even get to try it we ended up walking out. My wife and I are "regulars" at Chilis. Good food and good prices, however that all stopped when we went to have lunch. We got there around 1:30 and it was 92 degrees outside, we are both on meds that we shouldn't be in the heat. Now mind you, it was not busy and I notice the benchs inside were empty. We were told by the hostess that we had to wait outside, I had the manager called and he too said corperate policy said we have to wait outside. I said this is bull to have senior citizens out in heat. Then my wife asked when we get seated if we could get a booth and not one of the two man torture ones! The service in the bar area was very slow. I came in on my lunch and I didn't have a lot of time . I am used to eating and being done at least within 40 min. Food was okay, but I had to tell the waiter to check in on my food. He then came out with the food and it looked like it had been sitting in the back. We have been coming to this location for about a year now and it has never been this bad! They were so understaffed that we sat there for probably about 15-20 minutes just waiting to order drinks. The host, Champaine, came over and helped us out. She was great! We waited a little longer and one of the servers walked by barely acknowledging that we were waiting, she asked if the lady came to take our order, she saw we had our drinks and than walked away, Champaine ended up coming back and taking our food order because no one came by to help us at all, we got our food and it was pretty good, no complaints. Management needs to reevaluate their decisions on who should be servers and who should be hosts because Champaine did an absolutely amazing job. Horrible. Management sucks when I came in I stated that I had 6 adults and a child they put our name down for the waitlist which was an hour and a half, not a problem. We get the text that our table is ready, when we walk through the doors the table is NOT ready and the hostess are discussing where to seat us as a table was not available! Why even bother texting! 10 minutes go by and they finally sit us at a high table that was dirty with chips and crumbs all over! We have a 4 year old child and decided to sit her in between 2 adults we are fine and order drinks when the manager walks over and states we cannot have the child in between the adults due to COVID but they cannot even keep the establishment clean and that she has to be at the end of the table by herself! Honestly it's so sad what's happened to this place. It used to be my favorite and quickly became my kids favorite spot for a quick getaway with mom. It's close to our home so we frequented often. Over the last 2-3 years it's gotten progressively worse. Service is slow and servers are rude and innatentive. On our last visit My food came out 30 mins after my sons and was cold when I sent it back they popped it in a microwave and my lettuce was wilted. I paid and left the food on the table untouched. I swore I'd never return until today when my daughter asked for a lunch date and I tried everything I could to convince her to go somewhere else but she insisted. The service was twice as crappy and again we waited 50 mins for our food. I will say that when it finally came out it was hot and cooked correctly. They need to step it up! Went to the Chili's in Lancaster on 10th street West yesterday 5/8/22 for my Mother's Day dinner. In the being things went smoothly with taking our order, getting drinks, and getting our salads in reasonably time frame. But our main meal took over an hour. The Pasta meal plates where hot... but the pasta meal was cold. We where having a hard time getting any help due to all the servers hanging out in the back socializing. I will never go for another meal at this Chili's restaurant. They have very poor management and the workers do what they want. The customers are last. read more
