Amazing Top Sirloin Steak & beer yum
    Mary B.

I have to say lately I've been on a steak kick and cheddars did not disappoint! I mean look at my steak (pic was included) it came out juicy and delicious, it's perfect with a beer or 3, so yum! Absolutely my favorite meal! Besides our food being perfect we had an amazing waiter! He was so nice and knew the menu! Super friendly made my kids comfortable when ordering. And got our order right! I love it when we get amazing service. We enjoyed our visit ! Keep the beer flowing and the steaks grilling and I shall be back! That's all for now ... buh bye y'all

This place is always so consistent. Good quality, good food. Came here with coworkers, party of 6. Service was spot on. No complaints. I'm hungry just thinking about those buttery croissants.

Onion Ring Stack...this is about half the order.

Great service. Nice and clean. Wonderful fish and chips. The onion rings are home made and amazing!

    Yummy menu.

We had a Cheddar's gift card that we had received and had dined at Cheddar's for quite a while. Neither one of us wanted to cook so we decided to head to Cheddar's for dinner. We arrived right smack in the middle of the dinner run but didn't have to wait at all, we were seated immediately. The restaurant was really hopping, there were very few unoccupied tables. Our server greeted us cordially and took our drink orders. While waiting for our beverages to arrive, my wife and I looked over the menu. She's a chicken tender sort of a gal and that's what she ordered, chicken tenders with French fries and Cole Slaw. I decided on the country fried steak accompanied with mashed potatoes with cream gravy and southern green beans. I also decided to order a house salad with Bleu Cheese dressing. While we were waiting, an order of Cheddar's incredible fresh baked croissants was brought to the table. After biting in to one of them, with the icing drizzle, I thought, why not cancel the country fried steak and just eat croissants for my dinner! Heck, I'm an adult, well sort of, I can do that! After an acceptable wait, due to the restaurant being so busy, our entrees were delivered to our table. Our food was plated very nicely, the presentation was good. My wife said her chicken tenders were really good and she loved the French fries, fried and seasoned to perfection. My country fried steak was OK. I should have sent it back, but I knew how busy the kitchen was and I didn't want to wait for another one to be prepared. As you can see in the photo, there were parts of it that was really overcooked, over-fried. The coasting had separated from the steak cooking the meat inside too much, with the oil getting under the breading, the meat wasn't tender, but way overcooked. My sides, the green beans and the mashed potatoes were both very good and well prepared. At a later day, we'll head to Cheddar's once again and give them a whirl. I'll definitely order something other than the country fried steak.

    Waitlist

I saved my full appetite for this. On a Sunday, We joined a 15 minute waitlist @7:15pm due to a large party. We then got sat at 7:29pm, By the time we got sat we were ready to order. Our server Nehemiah had everything cleaned and ready for us to go with the fresh croissants. Not even 10 minutes later our food was ready, fresh, and hot getting served before our beverages. Nehemiah went above and beyond to give us the best experience we could have. I've never been to a Cheddars and was out that fast and smooth. The food was great, along with the server. He deserved a great tip. 10/10 location.

    Ceasar Salad

I love coming to Cheddars. It definitely satisfies my cravings for delicious Monte Cristo sandwiches. If you've never had one, it is a must try tasty fried ham, turkey, cheese sandwich fried topped with powdered sugar and served with raspberry sauce. So good! I love the complimentary croissants and the side ceasar salad is great. Chicken tenders are good and very generous portions. Broccoli was cooked just right, and fries are well seasoned. Prices are also reasonable and portionsare good. Our server was fast and friendly and no wait time to get a table. Solid spot for a meal.

Bourbon glazed Grilled Salmon with Loaded Baked Potato & Fresh Steamed Broccoli

The Monte Cristo & salmon ARE THE BEST! Do NOT pass on complimentary butter croissants, it's sooo soft, melt-in-your-mouth good, crispy on the outside perfectly topped with a hint of sweetness from the butter drizzle. I always love their salmon, both the blackened & bourbon-glazed, generous portion with 2 sides, always perfectly cooked & seasoned (& reasonably priced!) - well-balanced moist salmon & flavor, not fishy & so soft. The monte cristo is THE BEST! We were "traumatized" by other restaurants' monte-cristo "attempts". This place does it right - ham, turkey, cheese in soft bread (not sourdough), dipped in flour & deep fried, dusted with powdered sugar, with raspberry dip. NO other way to do monte cristo! You won't get that crunch at first bite followed by the soft bread, tender juicy mix of the meat & melted cheese, & that perfect blend of savory-salty flavors, DELISH. Their sirloin steak was surprisingly tender & juicy (beyond expectation from a ribeye lover ). The burger was tasty & juicy with generous amount of fries. The side Caesar salad was WORTH IT ($3.99) - it was a full-size salad & was great. Side baked potato with bacon had generous toppings. The broccoli cheese casserole is my favorite side - generous cheese with semi soft broccoli, mildly salty. The New Orleans pasta was pretty good (reasonably priced) but could use more of some Cajun kick. The chicken strips were our least favorite food, crispy but so dry on inside, may have been left in the deep fryer too long. This place is always well-maintained & cleaned despite the crowd. There's always a wait on weekends. We got there at 4:45pm to beat the crowd, but the crowd beat us . Their turn-around was quick, we were told 20min wait but got our table in less than 10minutes. Our waiter was attentive & pleasant. Overall, this place has the almost-perfect balance of pricing, great food, portion size, & service.

Call chicken fried steak and I didn't look like it had been dipped fresh.

I ordered the pork chop plate, and the server kindly let me try both a fried pork chop and a smothered one since I couldn't make up my mind. I also had fried cabbage and yams. The cabbage had a little unexpected heat to it, but that's actually the same way my family cooks theirs, so I ended up really enjoying it. One thing that stood out to me was the staff. I'm not sure if the restaurant is always staffed this way, but I was genuinely impressed that all the front-line workers were men -- and every single one of them was courteous, respectful, patient, and mindful of each customer. While I enjoyed my meal, I watched them treat each person who walked in with the same positive energy and attentiveness. If you're in the area, go support this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, and the service all made my first visit a memorable one.

The young man who answered the phone was very kind and ensured he had my order correct. Even verified I was ok with paying over the phone before he took my order. I arrived about 15 minutes later and once inside the cashier called for my order number then requested to see the card I paid with and my ID. In today's world it's comforting to know there are businesses verifying identity! Kudos!! Once seated at home I opened my container to hot fried catfish, tomatoes and okra, Mac n cheese and hot water cornbread. My first bite of everything was very good and seasoned to perfection. I got so full so quick that I wasn't able to finish but it made for perfect leftovers later that day. On to the desserts! My mom got a slice of pecan pie and I enjoyed the strawberry cake. Both were tasty and prepared perfectly! I will stop in again for fried pork chops when it's time for an off plan meal.

We had the pleasure of meeting Nana herself. Me and my mom enjoyed speaking with her. She was pleasant and friendly. I loved how she was very down to earth. My mom took a photo with her. My server was the sweetest and most polite person. She checked on me and my mom multiple times. She was friendly and helpful. So I must say my service was welcoming and AMAZING! I felt like part of the family! Now it's not a fancy place, but it was clean and cozy. Like a mom and pops place. Condiments are provided on the table. Even roses that were real are in a vase. You can dine in or they have a carry out side. Well I chose fish since that's what I wanted. The 2 piece filet meal comes with 2 sides. They will bring your food out in a plastic container. So if you have left overs it's already set to go. The food came out hot and fresh. The fish was fried nicely. I wish it was seasoned a bit more for my liking. It was pretty good though. It was a great size and again fried to perfection. The hush puppies were really tasty. The fried corn fritter was delicious. The pickled tartar sauce was unique and I loved it. OMG the cabbage was so DAMN GOOD! This stole the show. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned with love. It touched my soul and I wanted to lick my container. The Mac and Cheese was a NO for me. It was like black pepper and cheese sauce. It was just blah and II didn't even eat it. However, others may like it, but it wasn't that great. Sorry Nana! Overall I had a good visit! I will definitely come back and EAT when in the area. The cabbage won me over. I left feeling happy and full. The southern hospitality was FANTASTIC!
