There was an issue with the crew who was supposed to come to our move so the owner had another crew, Tony and Cesar, come to us instead. Although they ended up coming later than scheduled (due to the mix up), they worked very quickly and were able to move our two bedroom apartment to the new place up a very gnarly staircase (no elevator, sorry guys!) in exactly 3 hours. No hemming and hawing in order to charge us for extra time. They wrapped up any furniture that wasn't already packed and were very friendly and hardworking. They also had masks on as well. Tony and Tavo were amazing!!! This is the best experience I have ever had with a moving company. They were quick, efficient and polite. I had this 1940's antique dresser made of real wood, it had to be well over 200 pounds; it was huge. It took 3 men to move it from my last moving company. However, Tavo from Certain Needs moved it by himself like it was end table (Superman) I was so impressed. Tony was so attentive making sure everything was wrapped and placed in the correct room. He also made sure he went over the billing invoice with me at the end and broke down any extra charges. I needed help moving a very heavy and large safe from my garage, up to my master's bedroom. Anthony was very prompt and came on time. The day of our appointment, he notified me of his ETA which was very courteous of him. Long story short, he was able to get the job done in a timely manner. However, there is this tight turn in my stairway which caused some light scratches on my wall and stair handrail. This review is for the overall experience. I got prompt responses and confirmation leading up to my scheduled move. Flexible with my needs and the time. However, my movers showed at 5 minutes to 11AM and were scheduled at 9:15AM. Called at 9:25 because no one called me yet and phone went straight to voicemail twice. Finally got a hold of someone after calling 4 times and the guy (assuming Anthony) had no idea my movers never showed up. Seemed he had to scramble to get someone here, I still tried to be patient. The movers got here and they were really nice and friendly. But to be honest, they were VERY slow and it was not a big move. I moved 250ft away and had already moved a good chunk of stuff in the time it took for them to show up. I did the same amount of stuff (if not more) from a different city and the guys took 3 hours. This was way less stuff and the guys took forever. Also I took time to label and go through where I wanted items and as I sit here and unpack, all my boxes are in opposite places. Ones marked for kitchen are in the bedroom, ones for the bedroom in the kitchen. I hired movers, labeled boxes and took time to explain how I wanted things so they could help me. Guess you get what you pay for...which I still think was overpriced for all I had to deal with along the way. No courtesy or sympathy for being nearly 2 hours late from Anthony but the crew was very apologetic. I would think twice if it's a serious move because the wasted time waiting and slow moving might not be worth saving a buck. Also ended up missing items once unpacked which makes me think a small box was lost in transition. I hate to give this review because the guys were REALLY nice but there were just too many bad variables for me to give a good review. read more

They packed our sofa, study table, dining table with their own furniture pads. They offered a flat rate which is very much cheaper than the other moving services available in the market. I was not expecting my move to take 8 hours. When I have stuff for a one bedroom and locations were right next to each other. The movers showed up on time which was a good start. HOWEVER, I could tell they were not moving with a sense of urgency. They were not being efficient. They took their time unnecessarily and some of my furniture got scratched up. The owner said all the moving materials would be provided but they didn't even have regular boxes only wardrobe boxes. Luckily I already had my smaller items boxed up. While I was putting my clothes into the wardrobe boxes, I noticed one mover was working and the second mover was not there to help so I went to the truck to check on him. One was at the truck just moving stuff around the truck when he should of been helping the other guy wrap stuff up. I could tell they were just taking their time to get paid more. My move should of taken 5 hours tops. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone I know. read more
