I hired this moving company based on a flat-rate quote provided directly by the OWNER himself, Anthony. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and stressful!!!! Anthony knew in advance that the move would take place during rainy weather, yet arrived completely unprepared no tarp, inadequate supplies, and a truck that was far too small for the job. He brought cardboard boxes that were unusable in the rain and ended up using an entire roll of my personal Costco trash bags instead. This should never have been necessary if he had come properly equipped. Despite agreeing to a flat rate, the price increased, which I still paid in full because I was trying to move forward in good faith. During the move, Anthony stated he would return the following day to complete the job. Based on that promise, I trusted him and paid. He never came back. No follow-up. No returned calls. No texts. I was completely ghosted and left with an unfinished move and a mess to deal with on my own. At one point, Anthony even stated he "have faith in me" despite the fact that I had already paid him in full. Moving is already overwhelming, and being abandoned mid-job is unacceptable. This experience showed a lack of preparation, accountability, and integrity. I used this company's service back in December, so this review is overdue, but I felt the need to let people know about my experience. I've never had a more easy and seamless move EVER. Anthony was very quick responding and extremely accommodating when I had to change my move date. All of my belongings were in perfect condition upon delivery and the team loaded and offloaded quickly and efficiently. All COVID safety protocols were followed, and I never felt unsafe or at risk. I was hesitant to hire certain needs moving due to a bad review but thought i would give them a try. The movers said that they have insurance incase they break something. However, i called Anthony and sent him pictures and have not heard back. We finished unloading close to evening. I called Anthony the next day to let him know and he mentioned it should have been addressed the same day. How could i have done that it was late and after office hours. One of the movers dropped the heat lamp right in front of me and it got bent. The following day i discovered our cabinet bottom was broken. Today the tv rack. I AM COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY! These guys are amazing! I had an out of state move. I met Anthony in the hall of my building moving another tenant and we struck up a conversation. I told him that I needed to move out of state. After doing a short assessment of my apartment, he stated that he could move me. We exchanged numbers and things went from there. We scheduled! May I add that he was very quick to answer all of my questions and text messages were always responded to prior to move date? DAY OF THE MOVE. Anthony and one other employee arrived the morning of the move on time with all of the materials needed to pack me up. They packed my items in the truck in record time. I was actually shocked at how quickly they were able to get everything packed up and how they utilized the space. I informed him that I did not have anyone to receive my items on the other end and that I would be taking a flight over to meet them prior to their arrival. He immediately informed me that this would not be necessary and that he would be more than happy to unload my items without me being there. I was extremely hesitant at first but decided to trust the process. DURING THE DRIVE I was provided location text messages along the way. I thought this was awesome! I received a message when they arrived and started unloading. UNLOADING After unloading all of my items, they assembled my furniture and sent me pictures of everything. :o) I was so thankful; everything was put together perfectly. I moved on oct 14 but am just now writing this review because to be honest I'm still very angry!! This was a big move, my daughter & her wife came from LA & I came from OC, they got their stuff first then came to my apartment. (That's where the problems began) It was a hot day & I lived upstairs but I've moved enough times to know that you carry the fragile items by hand (most of my furniture is family heirloom antiques) I watched these guys use a dolly on every single piece of my furniture, plunking it down the stairs along with my boxes. They carried only 2 items (the top part of my antique hutch & an antique mirror) When they arrived at our location we had them only take the heavy stuff inside & put the rest & the boxes in the garage (we helped because we were going on 9 hours) My daughter in law watched them drop my hutch on the concrete twice!!! Then my daughter caught one of the guys gluing part of the leg back on (because it broke when they dropped it!!) when she caught him he tried to deny it as it's dripping glue!! We mentioned it to the one who was finishing up our paperwork & he said he would tell Anthony. The next day as were bringing things into the house I'm shocked to see that EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF MY FURNITURE IS DAMAGED IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!! EVERY SINGLE THING!! I've been sick to my stomach about this since. We paid them over $1100! When I complained to Anthony he was sorry, offered to take all my furniture to his shop to fix it (like I would trust them to take my things) I said I would file an insurance claim with their insurance & again he said they would take the stuff but I declined to have my things taken. He then offered for a free move the next time I decide to move (I don't plan on moving again) Anthony never offered any restitution (other than removing my furniture from my possession to 'fix') or monetary compensation!! WARNING!!! THE WORST COMPANY AND OWNER. Please note that the last 3/4 reviews were negative and I should've listened. We reached out to Anthony (owner) for an upcoming move. His price was reasonable so we decided to schedule. He asked us to send a deposit which we didn't want to do since there's no contract or anything in place but we did so regardless to lock in the date. We scheduled for 7am Saturday morning. My husband and I stayed up all night to have all of our stuff in boxes. We were exhausted to say the least (mind you, I'm pregnant so it was even worse on me). My husband reached out that morning around 6:30 to confirm the move and Anthony says that they can't make it because their "truck stopped working". After hearing our frustration, he said he'll try to get something to us. He called back an hour later and said he couldn't do anything for us and the best he could do is come Sunday because his guys would be back from a job too late that Saturday. First red flag! He says they were out on a job but earlier said his truck wasn't running??! Horrible! We ended up booking with someone else last minute and they saved the day. We asked Anthony for our deposit back since he cancelled and he says he couldn't send it until MONDAY (2 days later) and claimed he didn't have the money to send it immediately. We expressed our frustration once again but he didn't care and said he'll send it Monday. Monday comes around, no word from Anthony. My husband reached out and was ignored multiple times. Now, on Wednesday, my husband texts and calls him over 10 times and was sent to voicemail multiple times. We eventually got a hold of him and he said he would send it when he was done with the job he was out on. It literally takes 1min to Zelle our money back so what's the issue?? I used them when I moved in 2021. When they built my sofa I knew immediately that it was built wrong because I originally built it myself. However, my sofa was in a place where it would rarely be used, so I did not bother it rebuild it. Turns out, they did not put a screw in place to hold the back board together. I found the screw when I recently moved again. They also build my bed frame. I went from carpet to wood flooring, so I figured the flooring was the reason my bed moved around so much. Turns out, they misbuilt my bed, damaging the frame. The screws were not properly put on, many of which were stripped. I bought the bed frame in 2020 and now have to replace it. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of expertise of these movers and do not recommend them. Movers who know how to build furniture should be standard practice. read more

We needed our refrigerator moved out of our apartment and into our new townhome. The stairs at both locations made it very difficult to move, but Anthony E. and Franky made it look easy! They even took the old fridge at our new place out to the dumpsters. Every precaution was taken as far as covering up walls and stairs with protective blankets and padding as to not damage anything. Move on 7/3/20: I used Certain Needs Moving for my move that was done in two phases. The first was on 7/3/20, and the second was on 7/11/20. I will do a separate review for phase two. First off, I just want to say that the owner, Anthony, is very nice and professional. His demeanor over the phone helped me fell at ease with using this company. On the day of the first move, I was nervous, especially since I got a call saying the start time had to be pushed an hour. However, sometimes these things simply cannot be helped. Regardless, I ended up getting three movers for the price of two and a bigger moving truck, which was not even close to being half filled during this phase. The movers were nice, quick, efficient, and nothing was damaged or marked. They used plastic and moving blankets on almost everything. I ended up giving them all a nice individual trip for all of their hard work during the heat and during a pandemic (yes they wore masks for the beginning of the move, but they had to take them off during the huffing and puffing of moving things, plus the heat, so I do not hold that against them at all.). This was our first time hiring professional movers, and I'm very glad we did! We had a short move distance (about a 3 minute drive from our old apartment to our new apartment), but our new place was on the third floor, and there are no elevators. Thank goodness we got help to move our furniture up the stairs. The owner Anthony provided an honest quote for the move, and was able to waive the drive time since our distance was short. I definitely underestimated the time it would take for the move, so I was glad our movers were able to stay the additional 1.5 hours. Our movers Jose and Yasiel were great with our items. They wrapped our furniture with blankets and taped down the drawers so that the furniture wouldn't be damaged and our items wouldn't fall out. My daughters bought me a threadmill for my birthday and Christmas. I didn't realize how heavy is 200 lbs. so I called several places to move it from downstairs to my bedroom upstairs. Thankfully I talked to Andre and he sent two of his guys.
