We were located on the second floor of a condo building with so they had a lot of work ahead of them. Yasiel, Frankie and Victor were polite, personable and worked great together. Also helped easing my anxiety about the move. I did feel the sense of urgency in the length of time it took because it definitely started adding up quickly. I anticipated at most 7 hours - yet even with me helping move stuff to and from the truck still cost me over $900. But at the same time I know there were stairs involved, a garage and two location stops. Overall I'd used Certain Needs again if moving locally. I've moved several times and this one was by far the smoothest, fastest, and most affordable. They were able to schedule my weekend move with only 3 days notice. I suggest 3 movers but I'm sure 2 would be very productive also. There were no extra fees to include no double rate for the drive time which was a major selling point since I was moving just over 50 miles away and traffic had picked up during the move too. Don't let the fact that they are based in Orange County prevent you from using them elsewhere - they moved me from one end of LA County to the other and arrived to start the day within the window they gave. Anthony and his team went above and beyond the call of duty for our move. What we thought was going to be a single trip ended up being 3 truckloads! We clearly accumulated more stuff over the years than we anticipated!! Still, Anthony and his guys did an awesome job, working all the way until 1am to get it all done in the time frame we had! Anthony even threw extra guys on the job to make sure it got done. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture, moved our piano, transported the shelves in our garage, and were careful to properly pad delicate items. Honestly, with the amount of stuff we had, we accidentally set them up to fail, but instead they pulled through and got it all done anyway! Even after working 14 hours, the guys were positive, respectful, and careful. I didn't see any eye-rolling or sighs (both of which would have been understandable at hour 14 on day number 2!!). Everyone was awesome to work with, and I can say with 100% certainty we would have been HOSED if it weren't for Certain Needs Moving. They seriously saved the day. Hired these guys to help us move out of our old apt to a house and they didn't disappoint. Anthony the owner was prompt in responding to my request on Yelp and sent us two guys (Jose & Martin) per my request the day of the move. Ask for them, you won't be disappointed. They were very efficient. I had some furniture items that needed disassembly and reassembly and they were very careful. We didn't have a whole lot of furniture. We're a three person family and we moved a lot of our clothes and other moveable items ourselves weeks before the move so as to save time and money. We decided to go with the $89/hr two man job and the move lasted 5 hours. We paid $512 out the door. Thankfully we only live less than a mile away from from the old apartment so we probably saved some moola. I highly recommend these movers. Victor and Jose showed up exactly on time, in uniform, and wearing masks. They got right to work and worked very hard. They never once took off their masks while in my presence. They took really good care of my stuff and nothing was damaged or broken. They were both very nice, helpful and strong! I was worried about using this service because they don't have a lot of reviews and they are all 5 star reviews. I thought maybe they were fake reviews. However, their price was lower than anyone else's price, so I figured I'd take a chance. I'm glad I did. In my experience, the reviews are legit. Everything went smooth and I could not have done it without them. These guys are the real deal and definitely worth it. I don't know how good the other guys are, but I do know they are all more expensive because I got a lot of quotes. HIRE THIS COMPANY! Good people, good service! I truly can't say enough about the team that helped me move. Professional, kind, and true gentlemen. We had three different locations to stop at to complete the move and they did it without a problem or complaint. We were together for about 11 hours- despite their exhaustion they got my items to the final location and even helped me unpack! None of my items were broken or missing- and they were SO awesome about avoiding hitting door jams and walls when moving items. Overall, They were kind and supportive during the emotional, bumpy move. Genuinely kind men who wanted to make sure I was taken care of. This will be a super long review that gives you as much information as possible, however, if you want the short and sweet of it: Go with Certain Needs Moving and you'll have a stress free move and a company that stands behind its service, even if there are issues or damage. So get ready, here is my story. I first found Certain Needs Moving by requesting quotes for my move from multiple movers on Yelp. I was looking for a mover that had good reviews, great rates, was flexible, and wouldn't try and nickel and dime me. I chose Certain Needs Moving since they checked all the boxes and when I reached out the owner, Anthony, to schedule my move he responded extremely quickly and patiently answered all my questions. I was in a special situation in that I was moving into a new construction home that wasn't finished yet. I set my date for mid-February based on the expected completion date of the house. Of course our current pandemic situation affected the build timeline and my house was delayed a month. Anthony was very understanding and was able to set a date in March based on the new timeline. So weeks go by and the big day arrives and guess what...the builder didn't finish in time...again. This time the delay wasn't weeks, but a couple days, but it still threw off our plans since we had already booked the moving date. I reached out to Anthony and he once again changed our moving date. Fast forward a couple days, its 3/13/21, and its moving day! I had a move that required two pickup locations and they were able to accommodate this without an issue. The movers were scheduled to arrive at my first location at 8am and at 7:50 I got a call from the driver, also named Anthony, who said he was just entering the community and if we were ready to get started. Very happy they were on time and ready to work. Anthony E and Frankie were my movers and both were very professional and courteous and took proper precautions considering the pandemic. Within a few hours we had both locations packed and were on our way to the delivery location. The movers drove between locations at a reasonable pace that made me feel like they were driving safely and my items would arrive safely and undamaged, and also that they were not driving like they were trying to increase the drive time to increase the price. Our items were unloaded quickly and efficiently, and in the locations we requested. They also were able to connect the fridge water line with my equipment. So, they were awesome, but sadly there was an issue. When they were placing my fridge it dropped about 4 inches and cracked a floor tile. There was also a spot where a wall was damaged. I reported the issues to Anthony (the owner) and he sent a repairman to fix the wall within the week and he also evaluated the floor damage. Since it is a new home and the floors are under warranty the damage had to be repaired by the builder or our warranty would be void. The builder reviewed the damage and submitted the invoice to me. Anthony and Certain Needs Moving took ownership of the issue and immediately covered the repair. Overall, the movers were on time, worked hard, did great work, and were awesome people. Even though there was damage, they took ownership and made it right. I would recommend Certain Needs Moving to anyone, and I will certainly contact them again for any moving jobs I have in the future. Do not hesitate to contract them for your job. read more

Anthony (the owner) wanted $200 weeks in advance without doing a thing. Once he got here he said the price would be higher than originally quoted and kept looking for reasons to raise the price--and did so when all of our furniture was in his truck as though that was his leverage. He did not come with enough moving materials to do the job and kept asking us for our boxes and blankets. I fired him and finished the move with someone else. I have them pick up a couch from my moms house 15 miles away from my home and they delivered it in great condition, brought it up to my third floor and assembled the backs to the couch. It was a heavy couch with a metal frame having two reclining seats in each end. Like I said, my third floor, two flights of stairs. No damages and everything was done quick!
