If I could give A Budget Mover six stars I would. The crew was absolutely professional, diligent in everything they did. Not only did they move me from Lakewood to Leisure World they helped to put furniture together!! And always with smiles on their faces even on the hottest day of the year. I would recommend this company if you're needing a move. J. McClendon read more

My wife and I reached out to a few movers to get our stuff out of our old apartment and into our new home. Of all the people we talked to, Mike and his team were by far the best. Mike came to our place in person to see what needed to go into the truck and quoted me on the spot. His quote was the most competitive as well. With three movers we got everything over there in one afternoon. Kyle, Felipe and Chinh were so easy to work with. I would highly recommend A Budget Mover to anyone in the OC! read more

We selected A Budget Mover for my dad's downsizing move from his house of 50 years to an apartment in a residential community and we're so glad we did.  The owner Mike and his son were so friendly, personable, and efficient, which made dad's transition easier on all of us.  I called a few places to get quotes and as soon as I spoke with Mike, I knew we had the right crew. Mike came by the house in advance to see what we had to move and to provide a quote. On the day of, they arrived right on time and provided the garment boxes and large bins for the extras, which were a big help, as they disassembled and packed up the furniture. My parents ran their own small business for 25 years, and we've always tried to support others in the community whenever possible.  Mike is a perfect example of what makes family-run businesses so special.  I highly recommend giving Mike a call for your next move! read more

It's about time I write this review. I've used A Budget Mover several times now, for both my living situation and my business moves, and they've been consistently outstanding every single time. They are professional, efficient, and know how to do the job right. From careful packing to loading and unloading, nothing feels rushed or careless. They show up on time, communicate clearly, and handle everything. Moving is stressful, but working with them makes the entire process smooth and straightforward. Their rates are more than fair for the level of service they provide, and the quality of work easily exceeds what you pay. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I always refer Mike and his team to others, which is actually how I found out about them in the first place. They've earned my repeat business and my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers. If you want a moving team that shows up, works hard, and treats your belongings like their own, this is the crew to call. read more

Mike and his staff were amazing to work with. They were prompt efficient and very reasonable. It was one day before Christmas, pouring down rain, and they never complained. We recently moved from our 1st floor apartment in Huntington Beach to a 2-story condo several miles away. I got a call from Mike, asking us if he could come by to take a look at what we needed to move. I was impressed by this as none of the other movers that I contacted did this. He was extremely courteous, asked some basic questions and took some notes. After receiving his quote, we decided to proceed with A Budget Movers. Mike set up a time to meet our schedule and arrived promptly. His crew was very impressive and efficient. They packed and moved everything with care. They had no issues carrying heavy items up the stairs and arranged everything neatly room by room. After the move, there was an item that we could not find and thought it may have been left behind on the truck by mistake. After a call to Mike, one of the movers told us where it was in our bedroom. Amazing. We would definitely recommend using A Budget Movers! read more

Mike and his team of movers Kyle and..( omg I forgot the other guys name) are the best. I was referred to Mike by a good friend in 2019. He took great care of my furniture and valuable items. I was really impressed and his prices are so much more reasonable than others. They work very hard to move things with care. They even wrapped my mattress and glass furniture in plastic to keep it clean and prevent breakage. Fast forward to 2025 I had to move again. And, everything went very smoothly just like the last move! If ever you need a mover -- A Budget Mover is the way to go. 10 stars if I could! Tyty Mike read more

I called at least a dozen Yelp 5 star movers and after speaking with them felt that I could trust 3 out of the 12. I decided to go with Mike because he's been in the business for 30 years, affordable/reasonable price, no hidden costs, responds quickly to calls and text messages, and so many other good things to say. Not only is Mike easy to talk to, I was impressed that his handsome sons Ryan and Kyle are also part of the family business. Another proof of honesty for me is that it's his practice to preview the job prior to the day of the move. That helps him prepare materials for the move, how many crew, and give an approximate length of time, etc. No one else does this and I've moved so many times before. Fast forward to move day, Kyle, Felix and Diego arrived early and waited patiently until I was ready to begin. They're hardworking, moved quickly, efficiently, and treated every piece of my belongings with care from start to finish. I highly recommend A Budget Movers. There's not enough praises to say how awesome they are! All the best to this awesome team! read more

I would rate A Budget Mover a 10 out of 10. Mike & his crew are responsive, friendly, helpful, work hard, and are affordable. I recommend and ONLY recommend A Budget Mover to all of my clients, and have done so for the past 15+ years. We had the best experience using this company to move my sister from RSM to Seal Beach. It turned out our storage unit was in the middle of the facility making unloading difficult. They laughed and went to work. Great crew. Hope we get the same crew when we move into the new place. read more

Mike and his team, headed by Rich, made moving easy. The team was very pleasant and every time I would help they would thank me or let me know that I'm the customer and don't need to lift anything. I was a little scared of the stories I've heard of movers but because I had the majority of the house packed and ready to move the bill was actually less than the quote. Payment was made after the job was completed. A Budget Movers were really easy to work with and I never want to move again but will keep their information handy should I have to move again. Highly recommend. read more

Mike and his team moved our offices within Newport Center this year. They were terrific and professional. We shopped around and received three estimates, theirs was very competitive. They showed up on time and moved our office furniture with care and with a smile. We recommend them and we will use their services again. read more

I can totally recommend this moving company. We have used them twice to move our office, once to move our residence, and based on our recommendation, my mom used them, my aunt used them, my brother used them, and my neighbor used them. That's 7 moves in total and I can tell you that all went great. My husband originally hired them when they happened to cold call us at a time when we were getting ready to move our office. I never would have hired them had I known that's how they came to us (I only found that out later), but I am so glad we did hire them. They're a family business, which I liked. Mike came out the next day to look at what we had to move and give us a bid. We got a total of 3 bids and his by far was the best. I know it can be a little risky going with the lowest bidder. But I think they were able to undercut the competition because it's not a huge national moving company with huge overhead. With all 7 moves, their moving guys were on time, they come in at or under the bid (in which case they charge you the lesser amount), they don't break anything, and all really nice guys. Mike will give you tips on how to pack things up and label the boxes. Or you can pay their company to pack everything - which I would recommend. It doesn't cost that much more and saves you so much aggravation. The small extra charge is totally worth it. When you're moving, it can be a very stressful time. You don't want any surprises. You want it to go smoothly. Mike and his moving crew are really a pleasure to work with and most importantly - honest and trustworthy. These guys get it done, when they say they will, for less money then their competitors. What more could you want? All around, they get an A+. read more

I happened to have moved twice in the last three months and while my first experience with a moving company was beyond horrible, these guys have restored my faith in the idea that getting movers makes life easier. They came out and gave a competitive estimate for what it would take to move everything, then when they came to move, they did an amazing job. They took two breaks, though that is expected with how long they worked and how hard they worked. They had everything packed up efficiently and quickly, they were careful and never even came close to hitting or dinging either house. They wrapped all my furniture and were generally amazing. I really have nothing bad to say about these guys, they did a great job and the recommendation from a friend who has used these guys several times over the years was much appreciated. read more
