Drowned my bowl couldn't eat it
    Kaila D.

This cava literally doesn't care when it comes to pick up orders. I got my food and they drowned my order in sauce and I couldn't eat it. It was disgusting and mushy and it's swimming in sauce even once's mixed. When I normally get my order in person it looks like the other photo I have attached. This is ridiculous. And the portion size is bad they skimp you hard. I have not been compensated for this

Fresh ingredients. I especially appreciated the many vegan options. I built my own bowl with greens, rice salad, veggies and falafel. The harissa sauce was a favorite as was the garlic sauce. The line was long but moved quickly. The seating was sparse, especially considering the number of people in the restaurant.

The absolute most lovely, welcoming and accommodating staff. Please give them all a raise! My salmon bowl was delicious and fresh, as always, parking is ample, and business was bustling. Workers were efficient and the entire restaurant was sparkling clean. CAVA is always my first choice!

The quality of the food was 10/10, very fresh. Considering the time of my order 5:30PM, I expected less but was hit with so much more. The resturant looks great, nice aesthetic [wood decor] and kind people working there. I feel like the portion was so generous too! We are already talking about our next visit and this meal is still ongoing!

I got the Harissa Avocado bowl with garlic sauce and extra pita crisps! The pita crisps make the meal so much better. The garlic sauce is a must in every bowl that you get. The service was great! They are very attentive and have such good customer service. There's plenty of tables inside! It's so spacious and there's also tables outside.

Good option for Mediterranean food. First time visiting Cava and we were actually impressed with the concept. You can choose their pre-set menu of wraps or bowels or you can make your own, choosing your base (rice and/or veggies) and your protein as well as choice of toppings. We got the Garlicky Shawarma chicken bowel and the Falafel Crunch Bowel. We liked how healthy the falafel crunch bowel was as well as the flavors. The Shawarma was good as well with every bite being a little different because of the various toppings. Only complaint would be that the Falafel Crunch Bowel only comes with 2 falafel balls. We also enjoyed the variety of drinks. We tried the pineapple apple mint and the cucumber mint. They were both refreshing and not too sweet. We went on a Saturday late afternoon and there was a steady stream of customers. What I did notice was that some of the people who ordered ahead had to wait for their food. Pretty clean and spacious with plenty of tables. Two bathrooms are available for customers.

Finally got to get this place out kinda like a chipotle but less stuff to choose from. Wasn't what I thought it would be.

Made a build your own pita, half steak and half chicken, delicious! Picture doesn't do it justice, it was a two handed wrap!

I heard that Norwalk has a new restaurant and couldn't wait to try it out. Cava did not disappoint! Arrived around 11am on a Sunday, they were half full and short lines. The workers were very helpful in assisting me make food choices with their input and recommendations. I went with a build my own pita. I was able to get both chicken and steak, half and half, which was delightful. All the food, the toppings, the sauces, were fresh. Very flavorful! And then there were the beverages! They had juices that were made there in the restaurant. I went with a cucumber and mint juice. That was amazing. Definitely going back again!

It was my first time at this location. I recommend downloading and ordering via the CAVA app; which is easy and convenient. You'll receive text messages regarding order status as well as accumulate points for rewards. The mobile order pick up area consists of shelves towards the left side of the restaurant. Orders are packed in bags, clearly labeled and easy to find. Food: Mediterranean, pitas and bowls that you can customize to your liking. Many veggie options for non-meat eaters as well. Portion for the kids meal (base price is $7.95 plus tax, additional $ for options such lamb, chicken shawarma, steak) was fairly large, and definitely filling for an adult as well.

Great place, always fresh and quick. The ambiance here makes you not want to leave in a rush, take your time with your friends and family and just enjoy. The service from all the workers was great except Mayra. When I was getting what I'd like in my bowl she kept asking me "is that it?" After everything I got. "Cucumbers." "Is that it?" "Tomatoes." "Is that it?" "Chips" "is that it?" "Garlic and balsamic sauce" "is that it?" "Pickled vegetables onions" "is that ?" "Corn" "is that it?" Felt rushed and didn't even want to tell her anymore stuff. Other than her the rest of the workers were great!

Cava is my go to! I had no idea Norwalk had a location, but I was commuting from the South Bay and decided to stop because I was starving. There was no line (which honestly surprised me), but I wasn't complaining. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and everything looked fresh and fully stocked. My bowl was great and made exactly how I like it. Overall, such a good experience, especially since other locations can sometimes be hit or miss. Definitely glad I made the stop!

Add Cava to your list as a go-to healthy fast food option -- think Chipotle meets Mediterranean. Not sure how long it's been open, but it feels fairly new. The interior is clean, modern, and has enough seating to dine in comfortably. Ordering is straightforward: pick your base (greens or grains), protein, and toppings -- or make it easy and go with one of their chef-curated bowls. The food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Everything tasted vibrant and well-seasoned. Definitely planning to come back -- a great spot when you want something quick, healthy, and delicious!

Cava, I'd be honest. I love everything you have here but you're just too damn expensive. But I digress, I cheat the system and always come to your soft openings and eat for free. It's a difficult economy, ya know? I also take the whole family here because it's delicious and nutritious. With that said, this place is the closest location to us. So maybe you will actually see me here all the time. Just make sure you have enough Harrissa chips and my Harissa avocado bowl available. I didn't try it in your location, but every other location I've been to the steak is just too tough. I do also like your roasted eggplant, I think it's a must for any bowl. I hope your CEO and investing in food automation will help crank out delicious bites. But with what we've got the other day, it was delicious as it is. Honestly, skip the regular pita triangle they offer you in the beginning and just opt for the fried Harissa chips. It's life changing when served hot. Oh, speaking of Ambiance your orange bathroom reminds of me of jail. Thank goodness it was clean like always.

Make sure you come with a few people so everyone can get something different and you can share because the portions are huge. My chicken shawarma plate was like an explosion because every bite you just taste savory chicken with the most fire rice and you get 2 pita breads so you can make yourself nice little bites with salad and hummus and the sauces it comes with are just mouthwatering. The hot Cheeto burrito with the nacho cheese omgoshhhh there is no way you're going to take a bite and have something not to like about it. The overall service and my dine in experience was immaculate, we were greeted by the owner Ali who was running around getting everything done and at the same time the smile never faded away from his face he makes you feel so welcome that you actually want to sit and dine in because it's such a cozy vibe. If you have room left after all this deliciousness make sure you grab some of the best Fresca I've had, next time for sure trying some dessert. 1000/10 experience. Thank you! See you very soon. Still, we fondly remembered their generous, delicious portions, so we placed an online order. The website didn't give a readiness time, but remembering that they used to prepare everything fresh and take their sweet time, I told my husband we should wait a bit before heading out. When I walked in, the employees were chatting and laughing, which was nice to see. Then I noticed a pile of takeout orders sitting on a shelf. Hungry as I was, I silently prayed none of them were ours; I utterly despise cold food. I gave my name to the cashier--who skipped the greeting entirely--and was told it wasn't ready yet. I said thanks and took a seat. While I was waiting, another customer asked about her order and was initially dismissed with a "no." After a second look, the cashier called her back: "Oh, this is yours. It's been ready." No apology, just a cold shoulder. The customer was understandably ticked off. The real plot twist, however, happened when I got home. Apparently, "two skewers" now translates to a grand total of five pieces of chicken. That is definitely not what it used to be. To make matters worse, my worst nightmare came true: the food was cold. Well, not the chicken, but the french fries and pita bread were stone-cold and stale. Lately, I've been going to Luna Grill down the street. They actually serve fresh, much tastier food--and at prices that don't feel like highway robbery.

There are some things I'd like to mention that have already been said in other reviews, if you just scroll down. The portion sizes are ridiculous compared to other Cava locations I've been to. It's almost like a joke to even serve the sorry a** bowls that they do. Make no mistake--this is not the workers' fault. I feel like a lot of the heat gets placed on the workers, but they're only doing what is required of them. It's the managers, the boss, and the team that comes by to train the workers to serve a specific amount of each ingredient. This is a slap in the face. You're playing with people who work hard for their money, giving them ridiculous portions at full price, all to pocket more money. I know there's someone from the business side of Cava on here who responds to these reviews telling us to submit further critiques on their website, but what good is that doing if you still haven't listened to the concerns of your customers and changed the portion sizes? It angers me because I see what this business is doing, and they're doing it right in front of our faces while the workers take the heat, all for extra profit. I'm not f***ing with it. I'm passionate about this review because this feels like straight-up robbery of people's money, and this location does not care.
