Each slice is $3.75, or you can get two slices for $7.50 plus tax, so there's really no discount. I paid cash and noticed I was charged $7.99 for two slices instead of the advertised $7.50. I pointed it out to the man who took my order, but he insisted I wasn't overcharged. I even showed him the menu and the payment screen, where you could clearly see the discrepancy (see photos), but he was dismissive and said the register never makes mistakes. I had a long day at work and wasn't about to argue over less than a dollar. Still, it's the principle. Charging customers more than the posted price and refusing to acknowledge it is not okay. It made my experience very disappointing. As for the food, we ordered two pepperoni slices, one pepperoni and mushroom, and one ham and pineapple. The toppings were good, but this is definitely not New York-style pizza. The crust was overcooked and so dry that it was close to tasting like cardboard. I wouldn't recommend this place. If you do decide to eat here, pay close attention to the price you're charged and ask for a receipt.

The marriage of savory chicken, subtle sweetness of bbq sauce and the sharpness of red onions and salty bacon make for a delicious pizza. The slight char on the crust and undercarriage is a must. Personally for me, this pizza spot holds the title for best chicken wings! The chicken wings here are 10/10 not dry, and not super saucy!! The employees are super nice as well, great service. This is a takeout spot only, so no dine-in and a tip I recommended is definitely call to order before you get there! That way you won't have to wait long sitting there, but if you do they have benches to sit down and it's clean inside.

I ordered the Pastrami Pizza, was sooo disappointed. Taste was off, it was cheezy, just lacks character. The pickles and mustard did not save it. Maybe its the low quality pastrami they use, or the way the pastrami is prepared? Couldnt figure it out. Now the wings. Not good. Dry, lack seasoning, lack flavor. Ranch was decent, the watered down but yummy kind you get form Tams or hood burgers. This place has been around for a while, maybe surviving in their usual customers? Not sure.

I can't remember our servers' names because they have quite the large staff. I do remember that they are all pleasant and attentive. Also, they have a great happy hour. I also enjoy a great deal for happy hour. North Italia has a great small pizza and a bottle of wine deal from this time. Luckily this location is connected to the mall so you can easily take a lap around the mall while tipsy.

Churro was just ok though :( good thing there was ice cream :) Biggest complaint has to be the salsas. The one with chips had no kick or flavor. I asked for spicier sauce which they do have, but was just ok flavor wise. Too many great Mexican and Mexican American restaurants with good food and better salsas to re-visit, so not sure I would be back. If in the area, it's worth a try and they do have big screens for games and the bar was pretty packed, so maybe worth the trip back for that and bring my own salsa :)

From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel welcome. They were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Harmony was kind, professional, and checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect. Angel was just as wonderful--helpful, patient, and always had a positive attitude that made the experience even better. We recently had a party of 20 at Shakey's Pizza in Norwalk, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Carlos for making our experience amazing! From the moment we arrived, Carlos went above and beyond to make sure our large group was taken care of. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and always had a positive attitude despite how busy it was. He checked on us throughout the party, made sure everything we needed was taken care of, and helped everything run smoothly. I dont really like to get into these things but today i came to this location today for the Bunch of Lunch. There was no chicken or mojos for a little while. I was about to go ask what was the problem when I noticed and man very rudely attacking the young lady cooking the chicken.. so I just didnt say anything. Seemed like they were short handed at the moment.. There was a gentleman walking around, african american, that was outside cleaning tables and he said that chicken and mojos will be out soon. If customers are going to get like that you guys should just not serve them any more beer... This Shakey's has always been our go to for the PCM. The service is usually great, people like Jenn and Angel come to mind. Family came for dinner and the food was great as usual, service was a bit of a letdown this time. A girl named Kaitlyn was helping us and she seemed completely checked out. She was pretty rude and just had a bad attitude overall. It was a bummer because everyone else was working so hard. When we were walking to our car we saw her vaping behind the store while it was clearly busy inside. I hate to complain because I love this location. I actually visit this location often my boyfriend and I have date night here at least 2 times a month. Tonight we were here pretty late but as usual the food was great the place was clean. Harmony M and Angel S had some of the best service that I've ever come upon. Angel was very respectful and kind, helping us order the most strategically, while Harmony was so understanding and was so nice to my son, who is autistic, it is much appreciated!! Bad experience with staff. I place an Oder over the phone I called five minutes after for second pizza they told is going take 10 min more I was fine with that, they took over an hour for my Oder and when I got my pizza it was cold.. Today, 2/14/25 I called in an order for pick up at the Firestone Blvd, Norwalk store. Adrien N. helped me. He was so so patient with me. He answered any questions I had and was very kind and professional. When I went to pick up my order, everyone behind the counter seemed so happy and was nice to customers. I had such a great experience at Shakey's in Norwalk! Charity and Adrian were both amazing - so patient, kind, and understanding the entire time. Charity checked in right when I needed her, which made the service feel really thoughtful and attentive. The chicken was also delicious - flavorful, crispy, and cooked perfectly. I have been to several Shakey's and I really like this one a lot. The food is extremely delicious. Food tastes fresh. T.V.'s EVERYWHERE!!! Clean!!! The games give out TUNS of tickets so the kids really felt that they got something good when we left. They had a bag full of goodies and not cheap things either. Came in for buffet, was craving some pizza chicken and mojos. The guy manager Johnny was making sure they had everything stocked up by constantly refilling the food. I must of came in some sort of lunch rush because they were busy, but everyone was doing there job and all were friendly and providing clean new plates for seconds I will be back when I get the craving again thanks guys read more

My much beloved Aunt, Auntie Jo, who helped raise me (your favorite Yelp correspondent) was an early and rabid lover of the restaurant she affectionately dubbed "Sizzler's." During her golden years in small town Klamath Falls, OR, a trip to Sizzler was a guaranteed and surefire way to clinch her day. Sheeeeeeit, her week! So when I heard that the Sizzler in Downey had recently reopened following an extensive renovation, it became the must-be venue for today's lunch w/ my lifelong best friend, Mick. My pal went for the AYCE salad bar and a huge strawberry lemonade. I wasn't feeling too hip (physically) so I paired the salad bar w/ a takeout Prime Rib Cheeseburger and Fries so I could eat later... While I, reeling from neck spasms, picked at a bowl of (excellent) potato cheddar broccoli soup and a bowl of fresh cut pineapple & honeydew melon, Mick incinerated a quartet of plates plus two bowls worth of buffet fare. Remember Louie Anderson, the cherub-faced, um, rotund comic who usta riff on how he'd personally shut down a trio of AYCE Chinese buffets? Well, what my buddy Mick lacks in Louie's girth, he more than matches the late, great funny man in appetite! I'd accord the spread at Sizzler 3 or 4 stars. While I may not have been overjoyed w/ today's selections, my hesitation to dive in had everything to do w/ my discomfort and nothing to do w/ the offerings. Judging from the expressions on my pal's face plus all of the other midday diners...the buffet must've been serviceable (at minimum). My takeout meal was very good. Thick pound burger composed of ground prime rib topped with velvety American cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce on a buttery Brioche and fries. Just what the doctor ordered after a long day... At this, my first visit to a Sizzler since taking my beloved Aunt there a couple months before we lost her, in the Fall of 2019, it's nice to see this old American dining hallmark reemerge from the shadows.
