My husband and I like eating here. He gets meat and I get salad. Laura was our server again tonight and everything was great as usual. She is always friendly and attentive, on top of drink refills and clean salad bar plates. Sometimes we bring my mom who suffers from alzheimers and is on hospice in a wheelchair . She does not eat much, not even 1/4 of a meal so all she needs is little tastes of food for comfort. The Sizzler that I used to go to no longer exists; however, there are several locations that continue to service the LB area. Sizzler is not a steakhouse that features dry aged meats and prime cuts. They provide steak, chicken, and shrimp at an affordable price point and I'm here for it! I was able to get a 6oz sirloin steak with 6 jumbo fried shrimp, a baked potato, and their signature cheese toast for $25. The server was great. When she delivered my meal, she proactively offered me to check the doneness of my steak and she was pleased when I gave my approval. I really didn't have any expectations for my steak today; however, they gave pretty outstanding service. My go-to order is the Steak combo: Steak (6 oz tri-tip sirloin) & Jumbo Crispy Shrimp, which comes with 6 crispy shrimp and a choice of side. I always get the baked potato with everything (sour cream, butter, and chives), and add the unlimited salad bar. Sizzler's complimentary cheese toast and unlimited salad bar always hit the spot and is prepared fresh daily. Staff is very attentive to ensure that the stations are clean. Always a pleasure to dine in with one of the regulars, Ms. Laura. Service with a friendly face and she's on top of the refills, drink or bread. We went in after 8pm, just before closing time last night and she could tell we were rushing and asked us anyway if we were certain we didn't want anything else from the salad bar before leaving. And we honestly were just rushing through our salad bar meals to be able to exit by 9pm and not have her waiting on us any longer. Just left here with my family spent over $100 and It was a bad experience. I went to the salad bar and when getting the spinach there was a big,thick, black bug in the lettuce. I proceeded to ask for a refund nicely all to get an attitude from the manager. He snatched the plate and was irritated because I wanted a refund! Never again will I eat at this location. We always come to this location with our entire family, 8+ people. We have had Marcos as our server pretty much every time and we just love him!
