I looked on yelp to find a local Mexican restaurant near my friends apartment. That led me to this establishment. I was looking for two chicken tacos, two Carne Asada tacos, and a chicken burrito. They only serve their tacos in a three taco combination. The picture shows how plain and lifeless those tacos were. Each three taco combo was $26. No toppings, no rice and beans, and nothing to justify that price. On the menu, there was a long list of toppings that it was supposed to come with. They did not have Jamaica to drink, so I ordered watermelon and strawberry Agua Fresca's. When I was given my bag, they forgot to include the drinks, and I had to ask for them. My total was $77 and I regret leaving them an eight dollar tip on top of that. This place is a total rip off. read more

It's very fun in here the music is a bit loud but we did have a party of 11 on a Saturday night ! I've only been to the Brea location before so it was my first time coming to this one. The parking is valet only unless you find street parking or maybe the other lots nearby don't care ? Not sure but it was $8! We had reservations so we got seated immediately. Celebrated my bday 3 weeks ago. the service was great I forgot the name of my server but she was awesome and attentive. The brunch menu was good, not as expensive as other menus. My only problem here is the words Bottomless Mimosas on the menu. When we ordered our server let us know we were capped at 7, totally fine but don't call it bottomless mimosas when it's not. I'm thinking call it "almost bottomless mimosas" because bottomless it ain't lol. So we ordered off the happy hour menu. All items each $10. Kinda pricey for happy hour so I thought until I saw the dinner menu. It's pretty pricey for Mexican food. We ordered about 5-6 different things. Hot Wings there were only 5 pieces in our order. Taquitos only 6 1/2 pieces. A scoop of guac & chips, shrimp ceviche with 2 broken up tostada shells - size of a small soup bowl. Then we ordered the 3 street tacos. Now those were amazing. Great fresh salsa Great flavor hands down. Food was ok but the size for $10 each ‍. Our server now she was great. She recommended some drinks and those did not disappoint! Oh hell no. Just left and we had the worst service unfortunately because the food is good but what happened will keep us from returning. Honestly everything seemed fine up until we ordered and were waiting for our food. My wife's entree came out first, followed by a side of fries. And then I literally sat for what seemed like 20-30 minutes watching her eat with my entree nowhere in sight. Our waitress didn't come and check on us. She didn't refill our waters, she didn't even pop up to say something like, "hey sorry for the delay" SOMETHING. Finally after waiting for a long time, and after my wife pretty much finished her food (she wanted to wait for mine to come out but hers would have been cold by that time), my surf n turf came out. Our waitress who sat us and who was the one who took our order, yeah she didn't bring it...it was somebody else and all she said was "sorry" no explanation. Nada. Friday night 9/19/25 my wife, friend, and I came here and it was a disaster from the moment we walked in. The manager hovered over the host when we walked in to put our names down. It was like we were some kind of problem while deciding where to seat us, then stuck us right by the exit door. Before we even ordered, a photographer came over and snapped our picture for no reason. We never saw those photos again and the whole thing felt shady and uncomfortable. The food service was a joke. My wife's chicken wet burrito--supposed to be an entrée--showed up first, way before any appetizers. It was covered in sesame seeds, radish, and a white sauce that tasted like Alfredo. We waited 15-20 minutes with no sign of our server. When she finally showed up and we explained the issue, she immediately copped an attitude and called the manager. The manager showed up just as cold, no apology, no real fix, just a rushed replacement. Meanwhile we sat there with empty water glasses, no refills, no extra plates for sharing appetizers, nothing. Oh not to mention I ordered chicken nachos with everything on the side. As the chicken was thrown in one scoop in the middle. We threw away $141 on gross food, pre-made margarita flights, and greasy chicken quesadillas that were wetter than the birria tacos. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. 2nd Review So I returned to the restaurant for my second time, this time on a Friday night. It was pretty crowded, but we were seated right away. Service was fairly quick too, so I appreciated that. It was also happy hour as well. It's a vibe at night. The paint inside glows and looks really cool. They have a DJ playing good music, and if you're seated outside they have the heat lamps. The drinks were pretty good. The food was definitely better this time around. Me and everyone at my table enjoyed our meals very much. I had 3 tacos (chicken, asada, and al pastor). All were good but my favorite along with everyone else's was the beef (asada) because they were so flavorful and delicious. Although I didn't try the enchiladas, my friends said they were really good. The only downfall I had this night was the fact that there was a line to enter the valet parking lot, and it was moving very slowly, so I parked elsewhere, leading to my car and several others being towed, so be aware! read more

Chose this place for a Christmas celebration with my coworkers and it is definitely worth it for the drink and appetizers happy hour! The servers were very attentive and checked in on us often. Food wise I thought it was pretty tasty, but hoped for a little larger portion sizes. I had the surf and turf burrito that came with some fries and multiple dipping sauce. The burrito itself was a little dry and I wish there was some rice in it. I would definitely want to come back and check out some other items off of their menu. The ambiance here is definitely the best part! I loved the outdoor seating area and lights everywhere. The music was good as well.
