I come all the way from Pasadena because nothing compares to the flavor, energy, and experience here. Every dish is authentic with an incredible twist of cuisines that somehow works perfectly every single time. The food is bold, fresh, creative, and unforgettable. And Liza is truly the heart of this place. Her positive energy lights up the entire restaurant. She treats everyone like family and you can genuinely feel the love she puts into everything. It's rare to find a place where the atmosphere is just as amazing as the food, but Fatima's Grill delivers both. You don't just leave full, you leave happy. This spot has become more than a restaurant for me, it's a whole vibe. Amazing people, amazing energy, and seriously some of the best food I've had anywhere. Fatima's grill was awesome. Don't be fooled this is a Lebanese / Mexican fusion, extremely unique. They have lots of options, treats and drinks throughout the store. My friends and I ordered the shawarma fries, Cali burrito, and the garlic shrimp fries. All of these were very good but I highly recommend the Cali burrito. Very common dish but Fatima's grill knocks it out of the park somehow. Idk how but he did. The shawarma fries also packs a lot of flavor and highly recommend. The GS fries were good but wish I got a little more shrimp. This place is not the cheapest but definitely get your money's worth in quantity and quality. read more

I wanted to add an update: WOW. The food was good! But MEGA-WOW: that Lebamex sauce was the absolute best sauce that paired well and "elevated" everything! Loke Like... the sauce is so good! Spicy, but not quick. It's like a slow tasty burn and then after awhile you realize it's hot! I found out later that the white sauce helped neutralize the hotness, but yes, that Lebamex sauce is a must try!!! I also preferred the hot cheetos burrito over the other one but that's probably because I tried it first! Both were great! Thanks for the experience! The service was amazing! The guy was so kind and respectful even when I kept whining about the food. The food and this really isn't an exaggeration but it was one of the best things I've ever had!! The food was so delicious and good portions, I easily got full with one ball. I recommend if you're getting the birria balls to get a consume. The man was so kind that he gave me 3 when I bought 1! To make matters worse, they even tried to charge extra for a tiny cup of green salsa. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I didn't. I did not like the location to begin with, doesn't feel very safe. The place inside is very small but the decor is very nice. We got there and there was only ONE person, cashier and handling the orders in the back?!?! He did apologize for running around and for having us wait and he clarified he was the only one there. That is troublesome. He was very apologetic and trying his best. As for the food, I am not a fan. I don't quite understand the hype of this place. The birria meat was dry and very red.. idk.. didn't look very appetizing. I got the birria grilled melt, I did like the sauce it came with but did not find much flavor in the birria grilled melt. This is a place I have been wanting to try for a while. I found them on instagram and everything they have looks so cheesy, big and delicious! I was in town so I HAD to check it out I had no idea what I wanted to try so I asked Jose for his recommendations and he was sooo helpful and informative about the menu options. I tried their habibi mix platter and it was so yummy! They amount of flavor in the chicken, meat and salad was exceptional and the portions are also great for the prices. It was empty when I got there and it filled up quickly for lunch. There is a bunch of cool art, pictures and light up signs that add a fun vibe to the place. I've been talking to all my coworkers about this spot since I saw it on instagram a month ago. We do concrete all over Southern California and I've waited a month to be in the area. Went today and got the Asada Quesarito. Holy moly is the most pg thing I can say. Hands down the best spot I've had in a while. I'm from San Diego and im burnt out of all the usual spots. I love Lebanese food and I love Mexican food, so Fatima's Grill offering a fusion of the two sparked my interest. I had high expectations for this spot because of that and the high reviews, however, I was left feeling pretty disappointed. I ordered the Cali Cheetos Burrito. Theoretically, everything in this sounds good, however, I feel like it wasn't executed well and was left underwhelmed. To start off, when I got my food, it was kind of on the cold end, which took away from it. Although all the flavors sounded like it would be good, they were just okay together. My husband ordered the hot Cheetos crunch wrap and felt underwhelmed as well. I will say that the sauces that they offer here are fire though and I enjoyed that and I like how all the meat is halal. Portions here are also massive so you can easily share a single order. We came on a Saturday around 9pm and there was no one waiting at the counter. There was a screen where you can also order, but I noticed that it didn't have everything that was offered on the menu, which is why we wanted to order at the counter. After waiting for and trying to call for someone in the back to come for a decent amount of time, someone finally came and took our order. Service is pretty limited here as you only really interact when you order and get your food. I liked the ambiance here and as a lakers fan, I appreciated all the lakers memorabilia and the fact that they were playing the all stars game when we came. The store is located in a strip mall and parking was easy to find. Overall, as much as I hate to say it because I reallyyyy wanted to like this place, I wouldn't recommend this spot and would most likely not return. read more

Went in on a Monday afternoon, my friend and I ordered a surf and turf quesarito and a Lebanese wrap burrito. The food was amazing. The surf and Turf can feed 2 people and there would still be leftovers ... it was sooooo big. But the cheese, chile relleno, the steak and shrimp were so flavorful and the Lebemex sauce was soooo good. The lebenese mix wrap was also very very good !! I love the rice. Stumbled into this bright, eclectic LA sports themed establishment on a late weekend night. Staff was friendly in taking my order. I had the standard carne asada burrito, hoping for high quality meat. Unfortunately most of the burrito consisted of rice and about half of the carne asada was made up of rubbery fat pieces. Fatima's Grill is a chain with multiple location and features a fusion of Lebanese and Mexican food, very big on flavor and calories. Very colorful interior, including two ice cream chests, three drink coolers, and a quarter-operated retro arcade console. I ordered in person and waited for the hot and fresh food, and I was just amazed at all the different drink options and ice creams (gelato bars?!). There is a surcharge for credit cards, and also an online order convenience fee. I love the Crunchwrap at Taco Bell and was intrigued to see how Fatima's would adapt it. I decided on shrimp protein, and while I suspect that others would probably be good too the shrimp sure did knock it out of the park. Shrimp were plump and juicy, bursting with flavor. The shape is almost a cross between a Crunchwrap and a burrito since it's about 2 inches tall in the middle, overall a good portion size and fully satiated me on its own. It has the crunchy tostada in the middle, some beans for filling, sour cream and guacamole for creaminess and flavor, and you could even add nacho cheese or Hot Cheetos for some fire. Just imagine a home chef making the Crunchwrap and doing it well, that is what Fatima's accomplished. The Crunchwrap came with 2 Lebamex sauces, and one spicy green sauce that I would describe as chimichurri adjacent, and yet the Crunchwrap didn't need any of them. Lebamex sauce is mild at first but does kick up some heat on the back of the tongue. Green chimichurri was just hot from the beginning. Also purchased the Beef and chicken shawarma wrap which was very juicy but lacked the dominant and robust flavor that the Crunchwrap did. I'd probably try the gyro next time instead of beef or chicken shawarma. The pickles and garlic and parsley do round out the flavor profile, though I found the Lebamex sauce to pair well to turn the flavor up. Size is comparable to a chipotle burrito, so sufficiently large for one person. read more

My wife and I happened to be in Downey and were hungry. I had heard good things about Fatima's Grill on Tik Tok. Website looks very well done. But this Fatima's Grill is more of a "hole in the wall" spot despite it being a small franchise chain. It is very interesting inside with lots of pictures, street signs, and license plates from around the world. You do have to order off a kiosk. And the diversity of the menu is a bit overwhelming. I recommend previewing the menu online before coming. They offer Mexican and Halal food, and they mix the two styles, then add American classics into the mix. I ended up getting a Philly Cheesesteak taco and a rice bean and cheese burrito. The Philly Cheesesteak Taco was a-mazing! Beefy cheesy melty flavor bomb. The rice bean and cheese burrito was sub par. Rice seemed store bought and the beans were just ok. Anytime I go to a new Mexican spot an always get a rice bean and cheese burrito and if it's good you know the rest will be good too. So for me, the taco was sooooo good I'm going to come back and order something different. But if this was just a Mexican joint I'd likely not come back. I ended up giving this place 4 Stars because of the potential and because the kid working the counter and bringing out our food was really friendly and a hard worker. Fatima' Grill has an extremely large menu with option spreading through Lebanese, Mexican and American food as well as fusions of those. We have been there several times and every item we have tried is a 10 or of 10. The portions are huge, always have some left overs. I highly recommended visiting this place. The owner, Ali, has the best customer service anywhere as well as his employees and really shows pride in ownership and community. Customer service is the foundation of any business, and this place failed completely. My wife and I had an awful experience tonight. Yes, it's Christmas, but if a business chooses to stay open, staff should act professionally, not rude and dismissive. All I asked for was a receipt I forgot to grab after paying. Instead of helping, the front counter employee immediately said it was "in the trash" and refused to even check the system. No effort. No courtesy. Just attitude. That level of behavior is unacceptable. Jobs are not handed out freely, and when someone clearly doesn't want to be there, it shows. Management seriously needs to rethink who they have representing their business, because this kind of service drives customers away. read more

Update response to Halal: To be clear your representative at the counter did not state the order was a platter which is defined as including rice and beans. She stated this was the cost of two al la carte tacos! Also using the excuse of "Everything going up" is inaccurate and impossible to know as a fact! This is not a not a justifiable one for an order of this size and quality! Very disappointed! I feel ripped off. The beef burgers we got were nothing like advertised! The cook doesn't know what he's doing. I paid over $30 for two cheeseburger combos and we got crap that is worse than an average fast food restaurant. For $17 per combo, the meat should be fresh, not from frozen. The meat should be seasoned too. They just tried to cover it with their sauce. It didn't help! No onions, hardly any lettuce... The only thing good was the hamburger buns. In addition, the fries were soggy and not made fresh. And lastly... the customer service is a joke. The lady hung the phone up on me when I asked a question before ordering. if you are a Birria Taco lover like me.. you need to RUUUUNN here this place has some of the most delicious queso Birria Tacos I have ever eaten. The shells are cooked to perfection and the meat is incredibly flavorful. The Consome is flavorful and and is a must when eating tacos. The staff here is friendly and very helpful.
