    JULY 2026 - Menu
    Kevin M.

Fatima's Grill is 1 of 1! Had to show them some love again and update my review. We have been only a handful of times over the years, but I feel like we need to come here more often. EVERY time we come by we leave here impressed and completely in awe of their food! Lines can get long and food takes time to complete, but staff is always transparent able wait times. We came by on 4th of July after a night of shopping at the outlets with our family. It wasn't too busy on this day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is always changing and up to date. LA Lakers poster, Kobe posters and now decked out with flags for the FIFA.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This visit, my wife ordered one of the Chicken Kabob Salad, my cousin one of the burritos, and myself the Double Decker Crunch Wrap. They have a kiosk now to order as well as an app for rewards. The prices range from $16-$20+, but believe me its so worth it. The portions are MASSIVE and are good for leftovers and food for the rest of the day or til tomorrow. The crunch wrap was 10/10!. Every bite better of that crunch wrap was mouthwatering. Fatima's Grill is one of those places that is popular on social media and a very hyped place, but for ME they never miss and always deliver. One of those IYKYK type of restaurants and should be tried at least one time. The best place to eat in Downey, IMO! LFG, Fatima's Grill!! ( ^_^)b

    Taco plate with carne asada

We ordered this for take out since there was a promotion for a BOGO. Otherwise it is roughly $20 for a plate of 4 tacos with rice and beans. I had ordered the carne asada plate. The pickled onion on top was a little too acidic for me, did not work well with the meat as it was savory and did not compliment well. After removing the onion it does taste great on its own, but the star is the unique sauce they provide with it. It is a tangy orange that packs a lot of heat - unfortunately I sweat easy, but it was so addictive that I ended up eating all the sauce, no regrats! If they did not have the BOGO deal, I probably wouldn't go for these again, but that sauce... Maybe.

After all of the reviews I was so excited to try this place. I was craving a quesadilla and ordered through ubereats. The steak in my quesadilla was inedible, every bite had steak that was gristle and fat. Literally from the first bite, I had to spit out every bite due to the meat being so tough inedible and it wouldn't breakdown. It was just pieces of fat and gristle. By my third piece of my quesadilla I just had to throw it all away. It was literally inedible, I wasn't hungry anymore, not because I was full, but because I was disgusted. I was left with hands soaked in grease, Oh and the brown lime they gave me another bad touch. Maybe they had an off night, but first impressions matter. I absolutely will not try again.

The tacos were not bad, wish the meat was a little more tender. The sauces are really good. The lebamex sauce is pretty spicy for me but very addictive. The green sauce was more mild. The refried beans were very tasty. The rice wasn't as flavorful, but still pretty decent. I ordered for pick up and it was ready when I arrived. Pick up was smooth, there wasn't a lot of people inside the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decorations are pretty neat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, great food and value. Would come again.

Driving from out of town, I ordered food on Fatima's website. I received a text that my food was ready for pickup, but when I arrived there was a sign that said closed. I tried talking to the person inside, but they rudely shouted "we're closed." I explained that I had ordered through the website, but he said it didn't matter. I asked for a refund because I couldn't wait until they reopened, and he refused. It wasn't until I raised my voice that he said he cancelled my order and that I'd get my refund in a week. Horrible customer service. Management needs to take this opportunity to retrain the staff. Update: The owner reached out to me, acknowledged what happened, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's clear he genuinely cares about the customers. I appreciate the quick response and the effort to make it right.

The 3 meat platter was really good. Loved the rice too. Fish tacos were good; comes with thicker tortilla. I love all the fun ice cream options like the viral fruit shaped ones, fried chicken shaped, and meat looking ones, sad I didn't get to try but I did get their cinnamon cheesecake and it was delicious. Tons of drink options in the fridge too. Liza was at the counter and she was so friendly and helpful at explaining the menu items we asked about. Love the decor and neon signs inside.

Fatima's grill was awesome. Don't be fooled this is a Lebanese / Mexican fusion, extremely unique. They have lots of options, treats and drinks throughout the store. My friends and I ordered the shawarma fries, Cali burrito, and the garlic shrimp fries. All of these were very good but I highly recommend the Cali burrito. Very common dish but Fatima's grill knocks it out of the park somehow. Idk how but he did. The shawarma fries also packs a lot of flavor and highly recommend. The GS fries were good but wish I got a little more shrimp. This place is not the cheapest but definitely get your money's worth in quantity and quality.

10/10 customer service and food [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is a little small and they're always busy so you might have to wait a little for a table to be available, BUT ITS WORTH THE WAIT!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Beef Shawarma Crunch Wrap
    Luis G.

Had an amazing experience at Fatima's Grill, came in with an open mindset (since I'm a picky eater) and loved everything I tried. First was the Shawarma beef Crunchwrap, delicious, cant forget about the Quesabirria tacos though!! Owner is one hell of a person, you can tell his business means a lot to him. Definitely will be back!

    Nikki C.

I would give it 4/10. I gave this place a second chance but they still fail. Two years ago I had a wrap it was a meh. This time I got a shawarma plate. How can they mess up a shawarma beef and especially the pita bread!?! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is ok. Ambiance is chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Im just surprised they allow do a phone order pick up and expect you to order online through doordash which add a lot of fees. Anyway I will not go back.

The food was on point! It was so good that half of each burrito was eaten before I even thought to take a picture. I love the unique flavor combinations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is a tight fit because the place was constantly moving while we were there, but it was clean and there was a positive vibe from everyone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner was at the front and made sure we had a good experience. It was a great place to try. If I lived closer, I'm sure I'd visit regularly.

    Carlos V.

What a place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Doesn't look crazy from the outside but once you step in it has so much culture and awesome decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is very helpful and polite but the food speaks for itself. Portions are huge and the flavor is on point. I was not disappointed

    Birria Quesa Tacos Birria
    Alissa P.

I got the birria tacos and they were cool, but nothing special. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Maybe this place is mainly hyped for the Cheeto burritos, but I wasn't impressed with anything else. Actually disappointed & the cashier at the front was also rude too, which didn't help my first time experience. wouldn't rush back.

They don't cheap out on drinks or food, and the quality is consistently great. Portions are generous, and you get far more sides and extras here than at most Mexican restaurants in the area. The staff of ladies who work here are phenomenal--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There is only one older gentleman I've seen be rude to customers, but aside from that single exception, the service is excellent across the board. I judge Mexican restaurants heavily based on how they make a Cadillac margarita, and this place absolutely delivers. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is perfectly cooked, plentiful, and clearly made with care. For me, this restaurant is a solid five out of five. It's one of those spots that deserves far more credit than it gets. If you're looking for quality, authenticity, and great value, it's worth a visit.

The meal started with complimentary chips served alongside both a sweet mole and a savory, tangy mole sauce. It was something I'd never experienced before, and it was incredibly delicious. Service is attentive, the food has its charm with in-house made tortillas. It really was a hard review to write because all the elements of a great restaurant is embodied in this hidden gem. I chalk it up to ordering the wrong items. The flavors did not pop for me. Hubby opted for the chorizo and he said it was decent and he described it as "diet chorizo"--that he'd probably needed to go back to Sinaloa to capture the true essence of "real" chorizo, the way it's meant to be. The star of his meal was the in-house made flour tortillas-now that's authentic! This is/was the reason that it leaned towards a 4 star. These looked and tasted phenomenal. The aroma took me back to the times when we visited Rosarito's Puerto Nuevo, as the lady made the tortillas by hand & pressed them in the comal, ahh, good times. I ordered the vegetarian omelette with beans & potatoes. The omelette was decent with fresh bell peppers & onions but the seasoning was so mild that I requested for salt & pepper. The potatoes appeared well seasoned in color but lacked that oomph that salt & pepper couldn't fix. My apple pancakes were average. While I appreciated the strawberry compote, there was no apple or apple taste in them. To wash everything down, I had cafe de olla, that was good. The aroma of the brown sugar & cinnamon was ever present. Estrella, our server was very welcoming, attentive and friendly, she gets 5 stars for her service with a smile & hospitality. Their lunch & dinner menu looked very appealing but we wanted breakfast items. We wish we were both molé enthusiasts then perhaps we would've better appreciated & enjoyed those offerings. Both indoor & outdoor seating (front & rear), parking is free & shared with their liquor store at this corner small plaza. Beware, no restrooms available. I'm glad we gave this little shop a try.
