We arrived just before the restaurant opened, where there was a healthy number of people waiting outside the door. As we entered, the look and feel of it all harkened back to a classical design in a nostalgic way, like before the turn of the century. Carpeted floors, bright ceiling lights against an overall dim palette trending towards brown, a bar area, a small buffet near the center, and of course the grill at the corner. The experience here is dependent on the number of folks standing in line, and because of the onrush when the restaurant opened, there was a waiting period of sometime as much as 20 people between two guys at the grill. Selection was favorably varied and always restocked, offering sliced meats like chicken, beef, pork, and lamb along with noodles, cucumbers, tofu, bok choy, carrots, mushrooms, eggs, and more. Their sauce selections came with recommended recipes, and after grilling you have option of topping of your plate with lemon juice and sesame seeds. Food quality satisfied most of us especially those who opted for another trip to the grill. As for the buffet section, I liked the prawn chips and sesame balls. Service was good even when the place got packed.

Shoutout to my pastor & his wife for telling me about this place. We went on a Saturday for dinner, not knowing that the restaurant opens at 5:15pm! There were already large parties ahead but they seated us right away because we were a party of 2. Jeffrey greeted us kindly & gave us the run down of how this place worked and next steps in getting the full experience! He was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. There was quite a bit of options and variety for meats and veggies. Food was very fresh and delicious! They had a variety of sauces and had pre-made recipes that people could use. the way the meat/veggies/sauces cooked on the hot top and all the flavors combined with the noodles was amazing. The eggrolls were crispy and hot dipped in the spicy mustard is the best! My boyfriend and I felt very confident we were going in for round two, but we were so full. My favorite of the desserts was the white coconut jell-o and the pink tapioca pudding. DEFINITELY know now to come early and make room for seconds! We will be coming back in the future.

Staff were friendly, food was good and even able to take it togo with just a small fee. I had 2 plates and I was stuffed. I'd definitely come back.

I recently tried Caesars Mongolian Barbecue and it's a great spot if you're craving all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ. The pricing is pretty reasonable for AYCE -- $19.99 for weekday lunch, $21.99 for weekend lunch, and $24.99 for weekend dinner. The setup is simple: grab a bowl and load it up with all the meats, veggies, and sauces you want. The noodle station has a good selection of sliced meats and tons of fresh vegetables. My go-to combo was lots of beef with carrots, celery, cabbage, onions, and broccoli. After you pick your sauces, the chefs cook everything fresh on the big grill right in front of you, and the noodles come out super flavorful and honestly pretty addicting. There's also a small buffet section with hot items like fried rice and egg rolls, which is nice to snack on while waiting for your noodles. Since it's AYCE, my biggest tip is don't fill up on your first bowl because you'll definitely want to go back for round two. Overall a fun, casual spot if you're in the mood for customizable noodles and big portions.

Mongolian BBQ is a unique experience that I enjoy. There's something satisfying about expertly piling up meats and veggies in small bowls so that they can grill it for you on a super-hot flat top. Caesar's Mongolian BBQ is located on Del Amo and Pioneer in Cerritos and they're one of the best spots for this type of experience. The mall experience (Great Khan's) does not compare. Meats (beef, chicken, lamb, and pork) are frozen and sliced thin, which crisps up nicely on the plancha. The veggies are chopped into bite sized pieces that roast up instantaneously on the grill. You can load up on aromatics and sauce to concentrate the flavors that you want. Then you could put as much noodles as you want. Some people pile the noodles high; however, I prefer to focus on the veggies and meats instead. I don't recommend the rice as it was pretty overcooked; however, they do have steamed buns that they make to order and they're delicious, but they have an extra charge for that. In addition to the main entree, I love getting their egg drop soup, which tasted of umami and white pepper and their veggie egg rolls with hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce. For $25, I think it's a fair price for a very filling dinner. I also like that you can take over some of your leftovers for a small surcharge. This is not really my wife's cup of tea, so I come here alone when I do come; however, it really does the job when I'm craving Mongolian BBQ. One may ask if, for the stir fry meat/veggie experience, if it would be better to choose Thai or Chinese instead? Nine out of ten times, I'd agree with that; however, I'm glad that today was the day I chose Mongolian.

Caesar's is a family favorite. Best sit down Mongolian bbq restaurant in the area. This place has been around for decades. Fresh meat and veggie choices with a variety of sauce options. Servers are kind and attentive. Prices are fair. The ingredient bar is constantly being cleaned and tidied up. The servers are paying attention to the ingredients containers. Grill chefs clean the grill for allergies and spicy sensitivities. Both kids and adults enjoy the meal! The sesame bread is no longer served.

All you can eat Mongolian for 24.99 dinner. Small to-go box available for extra 3.50 charge. I thought it was a little pricey for the amount of food I can eat. Good selection of ingredients, ok meat quality, and pretty clean

Met a couple friends here for lunch on a Sunday. Plenty of parking and the place had a steady flow. There is a small section for appetizers, soup and sauces. There is a separate section for the meats (chicken, pork and beef are included. $2 extra for a bowl Of lamb), veggies, noodles and the different sauces at the end. The cooks are very efficient and keep the line moving. There is a small disruption in their flow when a to-go is placed in front of the line. But it's worth the wait. The ingredients are fresh. You can order steamed rice at the table. There is jello and oranges for dessert. It was $84 with soft drinks for our table of 3. I would go back. They serve alcohol and have a restroom. The servers check on your often to ensure you don't need anything. Thanks for a great meal, Caesar's team!

i've been coming to Caesars for many years and I can't believe I haven't left a review yet! The food is fresh and excellent and of course, because it's Mongolian barbecue it's cooked to order. Lots of selection with four different meats. The sauces are plentiful and they even have an area of extra things like egg rolls and wontons. The best part, is that it's all you can eat! Highly recommend!

We have enjoyed this restaurant for many years, since the original owners opened it. Over the years it has been modernized a bit and the buffet of traditional hot Chinese dishes removed, but the quality and enjoyment factor is still there! I most love that I can control the amount of salt/sauce that goes into my stir-fry, as well as choose from an abundance of fresh vegetables and thin sliced, ice cold meats. There are spicy and mild soy based sauces, garlic, ginger, and oils, and we try different combos each time just for fun! From the buffet, their flower drop soup is so comforting and loaded with vegetables, the egg rolls hot and crisp with a tasty veggie filling, the kimchee perfectly spicy, and the cucumber salad slightly sweet and vinegary. I got a very small bowl of white rice to mix in this visit, and my hubby tried the pineapple fried rice but couldn't detect any pineapple. He loves the strawberry tapioca dessert tho! They don't vary these item. It would be nice to see something new added occasionally, but the stir fry is still the star. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Monday night - always good to see. The stir fry chefs work like crazy and it's always great to watch your meal prepared. I went through the line twice; the first time I put my meat and veggies in one bowl, as usual. The bowl is small though and does not hold much. People pile it sooo high with the noodles, and many do two bowls, which is the limit of what you can bring to be cooked at a time. We never get the noodles, so our meat and veg cook down a lot. We always have to make a second trip. The next time I did try two bowls- mostly meat in one and mostly veggies in the other. My cooked plate ended up much more substantial, so I was very full. The servers are attentive and pleasant. Usually we get tea but this time we just had water, which came with lemons. They do have a bar for those who want alcohol, and a wine rack as well. Our fortune cookies ended the meal. We love to support this place and happy it's as good as ever!

The line when it was 18 minutes when I started counting. It grew and took 22 minutes for people to drop their food at the grill

Caesar's was easily one of my favorite Mongolian places to visit. I love how many options there are for meat: chicken, beef, pork, and lamb (weekend). Their veggie and sauce options are also quite extensive. I have been disappointed to visit the last few times due to the time I waited in line to have my food cooked. There's only one grill with two workers who are cooking nonstop. When you visit, go only when your appetite is beginning to grow because you will spend 18-22 minutes waiting for your food to be cooked. Once it's cooked, it's a great experience! I also realized a few times that the "dessert" station is often left unattended and needs refills. Besides the wait, the rest of the service is great. Their bread is delicious and the speed to bring your refills is pretty speedy. Though the floor was carpet, it was cleaned with no visual stains on the ground

Wanted a fulfilling lunch to get me through Sunday Football and Caesar's delivered. The portions were beyond generous. The food arrived fresh and hot. The egg rolls and wontons were crispy and not greasy at all. The Mongolian Bbq was tasty! Still piping hot and the veggies and meat absorbed all the sauces and flavors. A very satisfying lunch, thank you Caesar!

    Yummy in my tummy!

Paired with their noodles and a generous portion of garlic and pepper sauce, the concoction grilled on a gigantic iron plate gave out such tantalizing aroma it would whet any appetite (and draw more customers into the restaurant). It's a stretch to actually call it a restaurant, because you order at the counter and everything is self-served, including the utensils. There isn't much counter dining space to accommodate many diners, but the food court is just outside the store and it wasn't hard to find myself a table. The food came out pretty hot, so pace yourself without burning your mouth. The smell made it hard to wait before taking the first bite. The frozen meat shriveled upon being seared, so there might seem less than you remembered when you put them in the bowl. Exceptional Service Recognition - Jonathan Delgado & GEN Cerritos Team…read more I am writing to formally recognize the truly exceptional service my family and I received during my daughter Dacia's 10th birthday dinner at GEN Korean BBQ in Cerritos. To be fully transparent, I arrived at the restaurant extremely concerned. I had been experiencing difficulty securing a reservation and was worried I would not be able to accommodate my large party of approximately 20 guests. Given the last-minute nature of my visit, I fully expected to be turned away. Instead, what I experienced was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I walked in, the staff demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and a genuine willingness to help. They immediately recognized that I was doing everything possible to make my daughter's birthday special and went above and beyond to ensure our family was taken care of. Manager Jonathan Delgado elevated the experience to an entirely different level. As a 17-year combat veteran, I am very mindful of environments that can sometimes feel overwhelming due to my PTSD. Without hesitation -- and with remarkable awareness and respect -- Jonathan made sure I was seated in an area where I felt comfortable and at ease. He approached the situation with professionalism, discretion, and genuine care that meant more to me and my family than I can fully express. Jonathan did not simply accommodate us -- he led with empathy, situational awareness, and true customer-first leadership. Throughout the evening, he remained engaged, attentive, and proactive. He made my entire family feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. His interaction with my children -- especially on my daughter's birthday -- showed a level of heart and authenticity that is rare in today's customer service environment. I have been dining at GEN for over 13 years across multiple locations, and I can say without hesitation that I have NEVER experienced the level of attention, care, professionalism, and genuine hospitality that Jonathan and his team delivered that evening. His team clearly reflects his leadership. The staff worked seamlessly, maintained outstanding energy, and ensured our large party was supported every step of the way. The experience was smooth, warm, and memorable from start to finish. Jonathan Delgado is a top-tier manager who represents the GEN brand at the highest possible standard. Employees like him do not just manage restaurants -- they build loyalty, trust, and lifelong customers. Because of this experience, my confidence in the GEN brand -- particularly the Cerritos location -- has been fully reinforced. My daughter had an unforgettable 10th birthday, and that is directly because of Jonathan and his incredible team. We decided to dine here on a whim on a Friday evening. While surrounding restaurants had absurd…read morewait times of 2-3 hours, we were seated here within 20 minutes. We originally expected to be in the main building, but we were directed to the smaller adjacent space instead. This turned out to be a win; the main building has extremely loud music and a "club" atmosphere, whereas the smaller space has a much more relaxed, family-friendly feel. The Highlights: Efficiency: The wait time was surprisingly low for a Friday. Service: The staff was helpful and managed to expedite a large amount of food in a very short window. Extras: The selection of Asian snacks and drinks at the front is a very nice touch. Things to Know Before You Go: This is an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) spot with a strict two-hour time limit. In my opinion, the best value is the $29.99 lunch special. We opted for the weekend "Premium" menu for a special occasion--which adds a $20 surcharge--but the basic menu actually seems like the better deal. This isn't your traditional, high-end Korean BBQ destination; it's more of an "entry-level" spot for anyone who wants quality grilled meats without any judgment. While the experience was solid, the food itself is average at best for this area. The Verdict: I wouldn't say you should avoid it, especially if you're trying to escape a two-hour wait elsewhere, but there are definitely higher-quality options nearby. I'd comfortably land this at a 3.5 out of 5.

I walked into "Woks Deli" like a woman on a mission. I told them straight up, "I am looking for…read moregood Chinese food." No small talk. No flirting. This was a food emergency. Because let me tell you... it has been a **long, long time** since I've had Chinese food that made me believe in love again. Then the food came out. The rice? STICKY...PERFECTLY STICKY!!! Perfect. MOIST, not mushy... just minding its business and being amazing. Like, where have you been all my life? Why did you let me suffer like that? And the sweet and sour pork... listen... crispy on the outside, tender on the inside... it had layers. Emotional layers. I wasn't just eating, I was healing. The Broccoli and beef...game changer. The broccoli had a fresh snap to it mmmm fresh! But what blew me away was the beef, it resembled Wagu meet. So tender so flavorful. I was sitting there, slowly munching my night away, completely unbothered, living my best life like I had just found inner peace... in a takeout container, but better, it was on a plate! At one point I literally thought, "Is this what happiness tastes like?" Because I was in full "Wok Deli" Chinese style. No passport, no jet lag, just vibes. I didn't want to leave. I considered ordering more just to stay longer like, "Don't rush me, I'm having a moment." If you've been out here struggling like I have, eating mediocre Chinese food and pretending it's okay... stop. Go here. Fix your life. 10/10. Came for food, left emotionally fulfilled.

For the price and freshness, it's a solid 4. For reference, Panda Express is always a greater option for freshly made fast food. I had the two-item and opted for just noodles and had the orange chicken and beef and broccoli. The noodles were thick and had good texture but on the more bland side. Thr orange chicken was juicy and tender and not overly breaded. It didn't have that strong tangy and vinegar flavor but still solid. The beef and broccoli were great and there were good chunks of beef and thr broccoli was not overcooked. They piled it on so that was a plus, although they charged extra for paying by card.

Once inside they are set up like a Panda Express. The choices are limited. I ordered brown rice with vegetables (simple). It was ok, not great but not bad either. They charge 50 cents to use credit. I'm accustomed to that when you have a balance less than $5-10 but was a bit taken back since my total was greater than that. Also if you want extra sauce it's 50 cents. Fortune cookies are not given with your order so it you want your lucky numbers or to read your fortune it will cost you 99 cents. Service was like the food, not great and not bad. Will I go back, probably not.
