I bought a CVT rooftop tent off of Facebook marketplace which didn't come with the mounts. I didn't know exactly what I should do because I was just getting into the roof stuff. I had them install a rack which went flawlessly and I love it. I also ended up buying the mounts from them which I didn't even know I needed until they explained it to me. Very informative at the main store. I went over to the other store to pick up the mounts and when I tried installing them, it didn't fit on my tent. Very close just a bit to snug. I went back to the store and asked them if there was anything they could do. Turns out, it wasn't the mount that didn't fit, just the rails on the tent were a little warped. In the same visit, they belt sanded my 8 pieces of the mount which after trying to mount the tent again, went perfectly. Very appreciative of their willingness to help me out especially because I didn't know much. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else to do stuff for your car and truck racks. read more

About a year ago I had a Saris swing out rack with Kuat e-bike rack added to my adventure van. Even though I was cautioned several times at the original install to keep tabs on the Kuat security wrench, somehow it went MIA. I don't normally go out of my way do make reviews, but when a company outright lies to you about what your vehicle needs in order get a bike rack put on.....you bet I'm going to make a review. So we visited Cascade Rack a few weeks ago, looking to get a quote for a solid bike rack to carry our E-Bikes. The salesman, a real number, was adamant that we needed to upgrade the hitch on our 2022 Thor Ram ProMaster. Saying that it was just a bumper mounted hitch not mounted to the frame, which seemed a bit sketchy to me, and our E-bikes could just break off of the bumper if we went down a rough road. That's a pretty convincing story. As he worked up the quote, he also gave us no options, just saying "Oh this is the rack you want!" Eventually sending us off with a $1500 or more quote for a bike rack and hitch. Ouch! Although, I'd imagine in Bend, people don't even bat an eye. But I did. Looking over the quote, I found in Bend, at Cascade, Bike techs apparently are worth $120/hour to put together and install a bike rack to the back of our van. Since when was this rocket science? And now, as I have taken my vehicle to a different shop, one that has worked on trucks and other off road vehicles for many years, with a long term solid reputation, I am being told, I don't need a new hitch at all. In addition to discovering that I was actually lied to, in the last month, since obtaining the quote, I called and actually made an appointment to have the hitch installed, was told I would be called when it came into stock, and never heard a word. Well, I'm glad to know my intuition was accurate, leading me to other options, but I would rather not see other people pay an extra $350 on top of the spendy racks their selling, just to be able to carry their bikes around. read more

Wow +++ Stopped in to compare roof cross bars for my Telluride and LR3. Decided to go with LR3. 1st Appt on Friday I called Wednesday to move it to Thursday (No Problemo!!!) then called @ 1300 Wednesday and asked if they could fit me in 2 hours later@ 1500....
