Horrible experience. They took over two months to install CarPlay and a new back up camera on my car, and damaged my bumper while it was there. They also installed a more expensive head unit than I had agreed to, and made me pay the difference. I tried to work through my insurance company to deal with the bumper damage, and Morgan the owner told me to "take him to small claims court"..Not the kind of response you want to hear after spending $3k+ here. I was in a car accident in April 2025 and ran into ongoing issues with my Toyota--the head unit kept rebooting and was basically unusable. Toyota couldn't figure out a fix, and I hit a complete dead end. On a whim, I stopped by Audiowerks, and Dave had it fixed in literally five minutes (no exaggeration). I was treated well while receiving my quote, which sadly influenced what became a poor decision. I was mostly treated well while returning three times to fix issues with my installation. However, I was not treated well at all after further addressing installation errors and attempting to reconcile differences in cost between store charges and manufacturer prices. To sum up my experience, I was overcharged for every item relative to manufacturer list prices, I needed to rewire the installation myself to fix issues with interference and distortion, and I was stonewalled by the business when attempting to gain help and reimbursement. This was singularly the worst and most frustrating retail experience I have ever had. If you do choose to become a patron of this business, be aware that they are not willing to be held accountable for poor quality work, and double check all prices before purchase. In simple terms; poor service, unfair prices, lack of respect for customers, severe resistance to being held accountable for mistakes. I came in with my husband and kid, and was greeted by Dave. Super cool guy. Very nice. The team was also very nice to our son who is ASD. We explained to Dave what our current situation was with our car audio, and what our goal was. He recommended a few things and he explained in detail what sub, what amp, what the pricing is for everything needed. And broke it down to us. We went with what was recommended because we felt comfortable with the price point and the customer service. The day of installation, we dropped off our car with no issues. They called when it was ready for pick up. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and he James who installed our sub and amp to come out to the car to explain exactly what he did. He showed us where he placed the amp and why and how it's mounted down. He explained where he placed sub and how it was mounted and where our sub switch is. He explained to us how loud we can make the volume and what it can handle. He even tested it out with us to a song of choice I picked and he was stoked it was old skool bass music. James installed our sound system and did a very clean job!!! Overall we are very pleased with the staff, customer service, and product. Thank you all so much for everything you have done! Been in a few times to be greeted with absolutely horrible rude customer service. Today I'm next door getting my car dropped off to be repaired at the shop next door. The guy with neck tattoos comes out super angry saying I'm taking up two spots so I tell him no problem I'll move it. He keeps going on angry asf even tho I said I'll move it. What a delightful experience. I showed up during lunch hour and asked for a quote on replacing my OEM car stereo with something Carplay-compatible with a backup cam. Their quote was not inexpensive, but I considered it good value for the two components plus installation. I was pleasantly-surprised that they were able to take care of the install that afternoon. They gave me a lift home so I wouldn't have to wait there, and picked me up at closing time. I was very pleased with my new setup, although overnight I encountered a small issue with the stereo. I returned the following morning and they quickly swapped it out with a replacement unit, no questions asked. Knowledgeable and friendly team and great service--what more could you ask for? Off to a great start. Went to Audiowerks for the first time today. Meet with Dave who is literally one of the nicest people I've dealt with when spending my hard earned money. We chatted in between customers for about an hour, checking out different speakers and seeing what would work in my older vehicle that has custom door panels since it's not your standard bolt/unbolt and done scenario. He ended up showing me different products then I originally went there to see and ended up persuading me into purchasing something different (but comparable) to what I initially went in there to check out. Great experience overall and he will definitely be getting more business as a result of his great customer service. I had been recommended to them by several friends so when I wanted to have a high-tech bumper/light bar, driving/fog lights combination installed I was not disappointed. Now when I drive down any street without light posts or when the weather is bad I flip on enough candlepower-wattage-lumens whatever to illuminate a footbal field for a night game. Seriously impressed! We were referred to another car audio shop in town but they were not super encouraging about a couple of wiring issues we had with a brand new RV (mice got in when the window needed to be replaced and chewed through the wiring for the backup camera, the wiring for one of the external speakers, and ate the inside of another speaker set in the back of the rig - it was a mess!). I got the distinct impression that it was going to take a long time to fix and they implied that it was going to be super expensive so I never scheduled the service. Fast forward a few weeks and my man suggested we check out Audiowerks (it's closer to our house anyway) and I am really relieved that we did! I called them at 1:30 on a Friday and Nate offered to take a look and said I should bring it by this afternoon (!). The issues that we had were numerous and most of the wiring was completely concealed behind the RV paneling so I was sure it would take a few days. Nope. He called me an hour later with solutions to ALL of the problems and an estimate. An hour after that and he called me to come and pick it up! Super fast, very friendly, and we are back in business! Worst customer service ever! Had an amp installed. Picked up my truck today for the second time, since the first time was installed with the incorrect power and ground after specifying exactly what the amp called for. Was charged for their error and it still sounds terrible. Worker was condescending and rude saying that it wouldn't sound the same as it did in my previous truck, even though it went from a 2016 Ram Crew-cab to a 2017 Ram crew-cab. I paid $475 because they said I needed a part for it to work correctly in my new truck that I didn't need in my old truck?! I will never take any of my vehicles or recommend this shop to anyone I know or meet. Think twice before considering them! read more

I purchased my 2 12 inch kicker compR subs and box from them and amplifier and power wire and speaker wire, I purchased this all June 8th 2019 today is March 6th 2020 so I've only had my system for 8 months and today I was leaving work and my stereo came on and started bumping like usual when all of a sudden a quarter inch away from the center of my sub the plastic broke and a hole about an inch around appeared out of nowhere, my sub still works but has a hole in it when I took it back to show them and warranty the sub like the guy told me I could do for up to 1 year on the subs he made me out to be a liar and made some story telling me that kicker would not warranty it that they would say something hit it and that subs dont just "do" that on their own and so he tried to sell me one at a discounted price for $90 but when I called kicker customer support they had me email them pictures and copy of reciept and since it hasn't been a year they are going to warranty my sub for me, the part that bothers me is that I went to Audiowerks and paid $800 for this system and instead of calling kicker themselves to see if they would warranty this or even suggesting me to call kicker myself, I have to deal with it all, why did I go to audiowerks when they wont keep their word and warranty my product like they told me they would when I spent $800 on this system from them, very disappointed that a man and his word didn't mean anything at this bisiness‍ read more

Definitely the place to have you auto stereo work done. Got a quote for $425 from one of their competitors. Did some research and found that the hardware costs between $55 and $200 depending on the brand. These guys had one in stock that cost around $150 but when I asked said that a $65 one would do the same thing and was good quality. They also had no problem putting it in even if I bought the hardware myself. I got the hardware online and they installed it for me the next day. Total out of pocket - less than $140. They did a great job installing it and dealt with me honestly. I highly recommend these guys. read more
