He has asked for them back with text and calls MANY times over the course of the last couple weeks, and they do not even answer calls or reply to texts with anything other than false promises that he will return the call later. At this point my father has been forced to spend thousands of dollars on new drive lines, and lost over a month of income from doing business as a contractor. I want to warn anyone considering us this company, please find someone ethical. If Mike calls my father and makes restitution (return the drive lines, and pay for some of his loss of time) I will update this review. This should be criminal, but unfortunately it seems it is a civil matter. We are very reasonable people and my father was personally and financially hurt by this company. The stress from this situation has caused us all to lose sleep at night.

While it was a Pain, they kept me informed of what was happening. The day of the install, they got it done in less than 2 hours. Install was clean and neat. After getting it home, I found 1 little issue, called them up and they said, "Bring it back, and we'll fix it!" I did and 20 mintues later everything worked perfectly. We had the install today. Notably, the cost came in approximately $200 above the original range that was quoted. Had nothing in writing in terms of a quote, my bad. I was not invited to see the radio before paying, even though I asked to do so. After paying, we went to connect the device to our phone, and low and behold, there was already another phone linked to that Head Unit. When I asked why that would be my question was ignored twice. Eventually after pushing I asked if this could have accidentally been an open box item or a return, and heard that that would not have been possible. When asked why someone else's phone was already paired to this unit, she didn't have an explanation that made any sense. Long story short. Install work looks great. Good product. Don't appreciate the business practices. Quoting seems like a really nebulous topic, I feel like I was scammed a bit, and the staff behaved less than professionally. I would not recommend BCT.

I'm going to be honest: While all of my cars have had custom stereos, I'm not really a car stereo…read moreguy. When getting stuff done to my car, I'm more concerned with making it all look as stock as possible, while making the beastie boys sound like they were meant to when I'm lugging my sorry ass up and down I-5 3 times a week. Living in Portland, we've got dozens of stereo installation options. After asking around, I made the trip south on a word-of-mouth recommendation. Sure, Soundsational does a lot of highly custom stuff, but they won't go all crazy if you'd rather they not. Looking for a clean sounding system and a stock look? no problem. Want some proof? Ask for a tour of their shop. They've got some highly custom stereos going into some completely remodeled vehicle interiors, and they've also got quite a few very modest installs like mine. A peek into the back of the shop will show you their custom box-making area, complete with some really nice fiberglass work. As for quality of work; it's where they get my first 5 star review. After a recent installation, I had to fix some wiring in my dash. Upon a brief inspection, I found all of their work to be wrapped and neatly run to the different components. From the work they've done, it's clear they care about the job they're doing. After the sale? I really don't think for them there is one. I made a quick call with a question on some wiring they ran for me, and they were more than willing to talk me through what they'd done, as well as an explanation of how and why. For the sake of improvement, I believe it's important to be critical of *something* with every review I write, but I can't for the life of me come up with anything I'd change with these guys. As long as they keep up the good work, I'll keep taking my cars to them.

In fact for me, it was quite the contrary as I did have issues. However, how it was handled and dealt with, if I could give an extra star for their efforts, I would do so. I purchased a new deck replacing my broken factory one. There were many options to choose from, but Jeremy helped me with a selection of what I wanted and the features that worked for me. There was no upsell to take this one and so on. It was appropriate and I appreciate that. Everything went smoothly and was done pretty quickly. Unit installed and off I went. It was a big improvement over what I had before. The one option that I really wanted was the Apple Car Play. it makes a huge difference if you happen to have Apple products. Then I started to run into issues. For some reason, the maps were all over the place. As in, every time I drove, it would say I was literally miles away, and then back, and then gone again until I stopped. Then it would find me just fine, until I moved. Needless to say, it would work, then not work, then work, and not work. Multiple drives and various phones to see if the problem was just me and my phone, or the system or the deck. Several attempts were made to make things correct, always willing to do what was needed to make it right, never a question the something wasn't correct and it needed to be fixed. Finally a fix was determined and once it was, it fixed the problem. But because of that, a particular feature (Bluetooth) could no longer be used. Without hesitation, the deck was replaced with one that didn't have Bluetooth in it to save me another $100. That's customer service like I have not seen in some time. So, if you are needing an upgrade, replacement, install, anything regarding audio, alarms, heck anything they sell, rest assured that Brad's in Springfield is not only the place to go, but THE place to go.
