My group would hit the road at 8:30 next morning. The GREAT Goofy's asked if I wanted to come in at 6 or 7 am. They usually open at 8 am. I picked 6 am and I drove up at 6am and the doors were opening. I am moved by the level of consideration and kindness. Plus they did an absolutely top notch job - replacing both collector gaskets in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. Unbelievable- the best work and the BEST people.

I went to check on progress & was told 1 stud & lug nut was stripped on a front wheel. I was then advised to have them replace ALL studs & lug nuts on all 4 wheels. My cost went from $1,000 for the shocks to $2,225 for replacement of all wheel bearings & fuel system service. I put my brother on the phone while at Goofy's to discuss this as he's had 30 yrs as owner of a tire shop & has replaced studs & lug nuts & knew the time it took. He was dubious about their price of labor & need to replace all of them. He then suggested I bring my van to him & he'd get it repaired as needed. I cancelled the rest of my planned service & paid for the 4 shocks which my brother later told me he thought were overpriced too. I will encourage my friends to compare prices before agreeing to have work done at Goofy's. This was sad as I'd had quality service at reasonable prices with Jeff, a prior owner, who'd suggested I check in later on my shocks as one was leaking. Barby .

My sons car was broken into and he needed an alarm and they are really good about getting you in right away and with great prices for car alarms. We will continue to bring our cars here not just for alarms but I hear they can do many other cool things as well! I might want some speakers in the trailer next. Thank you Soundsational for being a great audio dealer! We have been back a few more times for a few different vehicles. They did a custom build for our truck, and recently an awesome install on my car. Hands down one of the best shops in town.

I'm going to be honest: While all of my cars have had custom stereos, I'm not really a car stereo…read moreguy. When getting stuff done to my car, I'm more concerned with making it all look as stock as possible, while making the beastie boys sound like they were meant to when I'm lugging my sorry ass up and down I-5 3 times a week. Living in Portland, we've got dozens of stereo installation options. After asking around, I made the trip south on a word-of-mouth recommendation. Sure, Soundsational does a lot of highly custom stuff, but they won't go all crazy if you'd rather they not. Looking for a clean sounding system and a stock look? no problem. Want some proof? Ask for a tour of their shop. They've got some highly custom stereos going into some completely remodeled vehicle interiors, and they've also got quite a few very modest installs like mine. A peek into the back of the shop will show you their custom box-making area, complete with some really nice fiberglass work. As for quality of work; it's where they get my first 5 star review. After a recent installation, I had to fix some wiring in my dash. Upon a brief inspection, I found all of their work to be wrapped and neatly run to the different components. From the work they've done, it's clear they care about the job they're doing. After the sale? I really don't think for them there is one. I made a quick call with a question on some wiring they ran for me, and they were more than willing to talk me through what they'd done, as well as an explanation of how and why. For the sake of improvement, I believe it's important to be critical of *something* with every review I write, but I can't for the life of me come up with anything I'd change with these guys. As long as they keep up the good work, I'll keep taking my cars to them.

I looked through the peep hole but since I didn't recognize the man I wish answer. He continued to knock, ring the door bell, knock, tell for someone to answer the door for at least 5 minutes before someone finally went outside. It was one of your reps trying to get us to reactivate our service. I'm sorry for that was beyond rude. If someone doesn't answer the door it's for a reason. He also kept insisting to come inside. Extremely unprofessional and We will never be recommending the service or reactivating.

UPDATE: 03/06/2014 - If anyone reads these reviews, and you really should, I'm making this final…read moreupdate to finish the review. - I sent a registered letter with my demands. Several months later I received a notice that I was free and clear I didn't owe anything. Oh really ? So all the calls, and by the way were up to every day calls (whatever you do don't give them your cell number ) in the final week before receiving the letter. So fight these pri_ks or better still, don't go with Vivint, Inc. in the first place. Vivint Inc And so it continues with Vivint and I'm sure everyone wants to know what comes next...... a Joyce Black called saying we had a problem with our account and to call (again). When I returned the call Joyce Black could not be found and another agent said we owed 98 dollars on our account. I was then transfered to billing and cancellation. I re explained that we had given them no less than 3 phone calls within a 3 month period before our 5 yr contract was to be completed (starting to feel like a jail sentence) and several months before end date a REQUIRED confirmation letter. I was told they didn't receive the letter till a month later! So, many minutes later of details, the agent said all was good, no problem on account but now asked that my wife also contact them (again) on cancellation. Agent then went on to try and sell me a wi-fi alarm system ! Flash forward 2 days and get another call from Joyce Black and to call back. I had my wife field this return call. When she did, and asked for Joyce Black, she was told Joyce wasn't there or some excuse (it had been only 5 minutes since their call - beginning to think this person doesn't exist) - and then the agent on phone, Cory, started in on the 98 bucks over due on our account. My wife explained that this was already handled on the first phone call to agent Rose. Back to the 98 dollar account..... - and my wife said for agent Cory to note that she was calling to once again confirm cancellation. Agent said my wife would have to call back during the hours that Joyce Black worked, mountain time. We verified the date on our letter sent and looked over our phone calls to verify the calls made previously to cancel our account on the anniversary of our 5 year contract. So today I contacted my lawyer. He indicated that records of calls made from us and the confirmation letter, even if they didn't get it till later, was sufficient enough notice on our part for the cancellation. Lawyer also questioned why a confirmation letter was even necessary since when we called we had to tell then our personal information and the secret pass to our alarm account. Just to catch everyone up here - Vivint continued their attempt to collect after the 5 yr contract was completed, final payment made, and multiple heads-up phone cancellation calls and a submitted confirmation cancellation letter. They then load up with processing fees and late fees on top of a monthly charge. This is actually what they do to other customers - see my other Yelp blog. And just remember, if they keep charging after your contract final date and you have contacted them to cancel, you will most likely spend months trying to get your money back if ever.
