Paid top dollar on a stereo system and subs only to get the worst quality subs they had in stock. They had multiple electrical problems leading to my subs blowing out on 4 different occasions. Rather than looking for the problem they immediately put the blame on me saying I "abused" my subs. It wasn't until I went out on my own to get new subs installed that we found their very obvious wiring issues and were able to fix it. Even after this Jordan (the employee who installed) still won't admit that they are the ones who messed up. read more

Hey Folks! Just had a bumpy start to a stereo install for my old Dodge truck, however, when it was all said and done, it ended up great! I tip my hat and shout a huge thank you to the people over at Brad's Car Tunes in Eugene. The part they needed to finish the install took about a month to aquire. While it was a Pain, they kept me informed of what was happening. The day of the install, they got it done in less than 2 hours. Install was clean and neat. After getting it home, I found 1 little issue, called them up and they said, "Bring it back, and we'll fix it!" I did and 20 mintues later everything worked perfectly. My husband sought to replace the original car stereo in my 1990's car as my Christmas present in 2021. Brad spoke w/ my husband and showed him stacks of car speakers on the showroom floor that were on sale (do not buy cheap because you see a stack of something discounted...first lesson learned) and Brad had about 100 car stereos that had a tape deck, removable face plate and remote control that he was selling cheaply. The end result for the stereo, 2 rear speakers and installation was about $260.00. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.....the quality of the rear speakers was CRAP. We are getting a new system replaced for this Christmas and are taking our business and money elsewhere. read more

I paid over $4000 to have a stereo, speakers, subwoofer, amp, back up camera and alarm system put in. I had my truck in there approximately 8 times because the stereo would quit working and so my heat controls etc wouldn't work, then my alarm would arm when I closed my liftgate. After 2 years of fighting with the systems and them, I moved across the country and when winter started, my brand new battery was always dead. Longer story short, I had to pay someone to uninstall the alarm system because it was the problem. No more dead battery even after days of not driving. Sure they tried to make it right several times but in the end, after paying 4 grand, you should not have problem after problem and have to go back so many times and still have problems, let alone pay more to have it uninstalled, so you don't have to worry whether or not you're going to make your Dr appointments or what have you. My battery would be so dead overnight, that the manual key wouldn't even open it so I could pop the hood to jump it. Brad, I'm really sorry I had to do this because I've known you since you were at the stereo store, before you opened your business, but you yourself wouldn't even return my calls. Spoke with Travis over the phone regarding a Viper alarm going haywire. He assured me that his technician, Mike, was just the man for the job. I brought my car in and within minutes Mike had the alarm reset, the shock sensor dialed down, and the fuse cover reinstalled. I insisted they bill me for an hour's worth of their time but they refused. These guys are the real deal. I will look no further for my future car audio needs. read more

I had Brad's install a backup camera and viewing screen in my 2012 GMC pickup. They ordered me a tailgate latch with an integral camera, and replaced the stock radio with a JVC touch screen controlled unit. I now have the rear visibility I need to keep my 3 yo daughter safe when I'm backing out of the driveway, plus I got a great new stereo/navigation system that lets me use all the features of Apple Car Play in my truck, all for about $1200. A few months later a hit and run driver destroyed my drivers side power rear view mirror. I ordered a new mirror but really didn't relish the thought of tearing into the door to mount it. I asked Brad if his guys could do it and he said they could. He charged me the same amount of labor as installing a door speaker. Again, installation was quick and professional. Got a new car during the outbreak, and even though their stock levels are hit, they really want to earn your business. Recently had a backup camera and flat screen installed at the West Eugene location. Had to pick up my vehicle right at closing and after driving away from the lot realized the backup camera was not even installed. I had explained to the salesman how important it was to have it completed 100% in one day as my summer job is 3 and 1/2 hour drive from there. The salesman assured me that they would do a fantastic job! When I called him he apologized and said things were lost in translation. He was having a hard day because his vape pen was turned up too high and wasn't feeling well. It cost me a day of work and while very politely explaining this to the minion the manager sent out to talk to me because the manager wouldn't even look me in the eye, they gave me no compensation for my time and took zero responsibility for their....in my opinion, massive ball drop. Great place to go get your speakers worked on. They hooked me up. I got a car from kendall, and the driver side speakers haven't been working. Kendall sent me to Kia, and then back to kendall, then finally to brads. And shayne helped me out all the way. While kendall would only fix the problem I had mentioned it ended up being several speakers that were out. Shayne took great care of me, while kendall picked up most of the bill, I opted to get all the speakers replaced as was suggested by shayne, he worked with me on the remaining balance I would need to pay, and worked with me on that as well. I highly recommend going there. They treat you like family the moment you walk in the door. I will be going there from now on for my stereo and speaker problems. Thanks brads car tunes. I have an automatic car starter that I had installed about 7 years ago in another state. A few years ago, the "start" function stopped working. The brand of my car starter does not have any authorized dealers or service places any where near Eugene. In the past I have taken it in to other stores that installed other brands of car starters, and have ended up paying varying amounts of money to have them tell me it didn't work. Today, I stopped by Brad's hoping that maybe they would be able to help. They were VERY helpful. He went online to find the installation manual for the brand I have, took my car back to see what he might be able to find or help with, and within 15 minutes my car starter was working again - for the first time in yaers! I have a 2014 Beetle that had only a CD player. While I could listen to music from my phone via Bluetooth, I could not skip songs. Brad's Car Tunes was able to get me in same day. They were very familiar with what parts were needed to ensure I could use the handlebars on my steering wheel. The new touchscreen with Apple Car Play is amazing and has fixed all of my issues.
